After the session, there was no follow up or check in at all, which has never happened in any of my previous experiences here. I was tired of bouncing around, so I gave it time to see if things might improve. In the end, she agreed it was not the right fit. What was most disappointing was how it was handled. It took several calls, emails, and texts from me to learn that my sessions had been canceled less than 24 hours before my next appointment. The front desk told me the owner was supposed to call me about the cancellations and to suggest an alternative therapist, but that call never happened, and there was no follow up afterward. There was also a brief moment that stood out. I had left more than 20 percent, though less than the week before because the experience felt different. When I shared that, it was suggested that the front desk might not have passed the full amount along. That surprised me, as the front desk team has always been consistently kind, professional, and trustworthy. I want to be clear that the front desk staff are excellent. They make scheduling seamless, communicate thoughtfully, and create a welcoming environment every time you walk in. I am writing this because I cared about this place. I used to genuinely look forward to coming here. Moving on feels like losing something familiar, almost like losing a friend. The masseuse was polite and paused frequently to ask if I was doing okay (if I needed more or less pressure, feeling ok, etc.) She was able to get the knots I really needed to get rid of. The hot stone was presented and I said sure why not...but it didn't really do much for me. It wasn't warm enough. Though the service was good, the ending was not very consistent to the whole experience. We came in with the understanding that the price was $39.99 and with tip would be $48 each. We only brought cash with us and paid together. We handed her a $100 bill thinking we'd get back $6 after tip. I think she got confused as to why we wanted to change back. After much back and forth, we realized that the services weren't listed with updated prices. The service was $49 instead of $39. (which means if we calculated with tip, we underpaid her by $20.) We felt bad walking out because we thought we brought a 20% tip with us but we ended up only giving them $2. Just beware if you go, it's still pretty decently priced but bring extra cash or a card in case it happens to you. 1 star knock off purely for the fact that the advertised price was not the true price.

My medical doctor recommended that I see a chiropractor for my back pain as I had already tried medications and physical therapy but none worked. So I looked up Riverside Chiropractic in Medford and went in for an appointment. The receptionist was really pleasant and helpful. I had a consultation and an exam after. The doctor spent good amount of time to examine me and later to explain what my problem was and how long did it take to fix it. He also instructed me personally for home exercises. I was very impressed by the way I was treated and above all the adjustment worked and my back started to improve and my pain is gone now and it only gets tight occasionally. I go for a tune up/adjustment when I need it and I Look forward to it as I do feel good after every adjustment. I wish the office was open during the weekends, as getting there during the week was a bit difficult for me. I have already told all my family and friends about Dr. Pourshadi and I recommend him to everyone. read more

My other reviews of this practice keep getting pulled down. I don't know why. It's frustrating. Anyway, Dr. Pourshadi is an excellent chiropractor. I've been going to him for several years now. He's always friendly and really listens to what's going on with my back. I go to him for routine maintenance care now. He's given me tips and exercises too so I don't have to visit his office unnecessarily. He's a really great doctor. I had ended up as a Covid Long Hauler and one of the lingering symptoms of Covid Long Haul is insomnia and without a solid night's sleep comes constant fatigue & exhaustion. I tried prescriptions, supplements, meditation, & even hypnosis just to name a few strategies that I tried to get some sleep at night, but without success until I saw Dr Wilson at Salem Chiropractic. It's a catch 22 situation without a good solid night's sleep it's difficult to get well. I had explained to Dr Wilson that not only was I sleep deprived, but I experienced a lot of pain in my neck, upper shoulders and I also had a tension that traveled from the base of my skull across the top of my head, over the forehead and into my nasal cavity. So I told Dr Wilson that even if I started to drift off to sleep, I would frequently wake up because of the pain in my neck, shoulders and skull. Dr Wilson took X-rays of my neck as I had told him that I had sustained a serious neck injury at 10years old and with that I wondered if this old injury might be contributing to the pain and insomnia. The results of the Xray showed that my neck was riddled with arthritis due to the neck injury I had from childhood. Dr Wilson explained that this was the cause of the stiffness, pain and lack of mobility in my neck which obviously was contributing to the insomnia. Im grateful to say that after my very first treatment with Dr Wilson at Salem Chiropractic, I finally felt relief from the pain in my neck. And vies a vie, I finally got a good night's sleep. Can we say Alleluia? YES, we can! It's been Two+ years trying to recover as a Covid Long Hauler.
