    Sriracha wings and a Pilsner!
    Damien H.

This is a pub located in The Crest hotel and it shares a kitchen with the in-house restaurant, the Waterfront Lounge. As I was travelling solo I sat at the bar and found the service courteous and friendly. They had draughts of the common beers and only 2-3 local beers (Wheelhouse, Sherwood Mountain) and were nice enough to offer samples. I ordered Bouillabaisse and it was delicious and presented well; the server was great despite the fact I ordered 10 minutes before the kitchen closed. I also took advantage of their happy hour while waiting for a ferry and enjoyed their delicious sriracha wings and $5 pints of Stanley Park Pilsner while chilling out in front of their lovely view. Great food, cold beer and warm service.

My wife and I came to Prince Rupert to stay at the Crest Hotel for our 5th anniversary weekend. On our second night, we had dinner here, since it was well spoken of and at our hotel. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this has the best food Rupert has to offer. My wife had the northern king crab (1 lb of crab!) and I had the cowboy ribeye (24 oz. bone-in ribeye steak). Perfection. We ate maybe a third each and I was nearly drooling. The seasonal veg was fantastic. I ordered a very specific martini before the meal (tanqueray, extra dry, slightly dirty) and it might be the first time anyone other than myself has made it just right. The service was lovely as was the ambiance. Zero complaints.

A wonderful, and pleasant place for dinner or just watching the awesome view of the harbour, they have great sports specials and great eats. A prince Rupert must! The place is called Charlie's, but its named after the Prince of Wales..

"Two. Eggs Any Style" breakfast. Approx $10

One of the best lounges in Prince Rupert. Great service and good food. They serve local beer and seafood.

We hit the brewery on a rainy day, but still needed our pizza fix. Enjoying the views from the upstairs is a must on days like this. We had the specialty taco pizza on GF and were happy as heck with it. Just the right amount of spice. The traditional Hawaiian is also good, plus our caprese salad side was chef's kiss.

If you get off the cruise ship walk right about 15 minutes and you'll get to the brewery. We walked…read morearound town and then googled the brewery so we took the round about way to finding it. Google maps worked great and got us right there. It's a bit of a walk from the pier and cowbay so it's not as crowded. There was plenty of seating when we arrived. And there is both an upstairs and downstairs seating. Outside is a nice statue of a whale if you're looking to take pictures. They have a fairly large lot for parking if you happen to drive. We walked so that wasn't an issue. If you drive. Drive down the lane then turn right over the railroad tracks and it's at a dead end. When we arrived we were welcomed. There was a group at the first register so the gal at the second register called us over. We weren't ready yet so we just waited. We weren't quite sure what brew we wanted and asked a few questions. To our surprise weren't offered a taste of it before ordering like the person in front of us was, that was a little odd. I guess we should have just asked for a taste. They mainly serve pizza. I was in the mood for fish and chips, but that's not on there menu. I was surprised as they were a pub, but that's what the other pup in town is known for so opps we went to the wrong pub. Instead we ordered the artichoke and salmon dip with extra dippers. It was delicious. After ordering we choose to sit upstairs with the view. We were given a number and climbed the stairs to upstairs. It appeared they had a ada lift up the stairs, you'd have to ask to use it. We were able bodied so we just hiked it up the stairs. The seats next to the window was taken so we sat at one of the interior tables, but it still had a view. It was a wonderful view of the water. Food came pretty quick, it wasn't a long wait. Enough time to get settled and chat for a bit. They have bathrooms both upstairs and downstairs. Service was good. After we were done. They picked up our dirty dishes, but didn't refill our water. It was a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend this place to others that are looking for a good brew and pizza.

Stopped in a Breaker's Pub during a cruise stop. After being on the ship for days, all I wanted…read morewas a REAL Caesar and REAL poutine. Breaker's did not disappoint. Located on Prince Rupert Island's waterfront, the view is spectacular. I was fortunate because I didn't wait in line and was able to get a table as soon as I got there. Just after that, the line got very, very long. I could see that if you didn't time it just right, you would have to wait, especially with a cruise ship in port. After I was seated, I browsed the menu for my sought after items. I was pleased to see that Breaker's had a separate Caesar menu. I knew then that I was in the right place. I ordered the poutine and a Breakers Caesar. It seemed like the restaurant was short staffed, just like every other establishment after covid, but I already knew what I wanted, so I ordered when I was seated. While I waited for my drink and food, I browsed the menu and it was quite extensive. Specialties being locally sourced fish. The Breaker's Caesar, known for being it's spiciest one, comes in a 16 or 20 oz. I had a double 20 oz. It came dirty with double Worcestershire and horseradish, I knew I couldn't go wrong with this one. It was tasty, smooth and with just the perfect amount of spice. The horseradish actually floats around in the glass, but doesn't overwhelm. Absolutely hit the spot! Next up, the poutine. Oh, the yummy, piping hot, freshly crisped and crunchy fries under a generous amount of cheese curds that have already begun to melt due to the thick, hot gravy. Need I say more? So decadent! It absolutely hit the spot! Service was slow, but that was expected, and also very worth it! I would suggest reservations if you know when you'll be there. I will definitely return on my next stop! Highly recommend.

Our ship docked early and we had to wait until anything was open. You Breakers, I circled back to eat at which I was excited to do. I had a Starbucks tea in my hand (Trent's/big) pretty full still and was told I would have to drink it if I wanted to come in! Are you kidding me? You turned us out bc of my tea? So 2 paying customers (who wouldn't have ordered alcohol anyway) were not worth it to you. Well you suck. Rupert Canada gets a thumbs down.
