Brian actually went to a different dealership the day prior to look at a used truck. The salesman there urged him to buy a new truck that was over our budget but told that it was "the best deal" and made to feel like buying a used truck is a bad idea. LUCKILY, my husband had the smarts to walk out. That's when I jumped online and found a WONDERFUL used, below our budget, truck at Sewell. He sent the company some texts expressing interest. After hearing back that the one I found was still available, he went on over to take a look at it and LOVED IT! He said he had a great experience with the salesman! Said he wasn't pushy and was able to give him what he wanted. The one issue he had was that initially he went to the (Regular) Sewell Ford... unaware that there was a separate location for the used vehicles. He said he waited about 35 minutes here before someone even came over to him. Odd because car salesmen usually pounce. (???) That's when he was informed that the used lot was over on 8th street. All in all, we are really happy with our purchase!

Today is Feb 6, 2023. The saleman's name was Manuel. I am searching for the correct GM and have hired a lawyer out of Dallas. But, as a fellow consumer, I must advise you "please do not trust these folks with your money. I'm sure financing a vehicle is fine (just the usual used car BS), but do not let them handle your money. This is not a misunderstanding. It is theft against a widow that is too scared to speak up because her late husband used to do that for her. We will, though.

I made multiple calls to them at different locations just prior to the paper plates expiring to confirm whether they'd come in, called the day of, called multiple times over the next 5 days past expiration and not one single return call about my plates...one location never picked up the phone. Ever. I live many hours from the dealer, can't just drop by. When I finally did get someone on the line after a full 2 weeks of trying, they told me someone would call me back - three times - and they never did. Sketchy as sh*t. It's now 7 days past the expiration of my paper plates and still nothing. Will update how long it actually took to get them if I ever see the plates. Customer service is the worst I've ever experienced in any aspect of my life. Buy elsewhere. ETA: Told me in another call I initiated myself, they'd mail the plates and did not. I made the 3 hour trip myself to get my plates, 11 days past the expiration date and with zero effort on their part through any of this process.

I was interested in a 2012 Fiat 500 they had on their Midland lot. I called and asked if they did…read moreregular financing, because my credit is great. I also asked if about the condition of the car. They said they car was in good condition. We drove out there to check out the car and it was in average condition. There are dents on the top of it, that are not due to hail, there is a dent along the bottom on the driver's side of the car as well. I found this car on Autotrader.com and the description stated that the car had Bluetooth capabilities and it did not. The car is for sale at 7,998. We offered them 7000 based on the dents and lack of blue tooth and lack of a spare tire. We were willing to negotiate and take the car for a higher price, however, after the sales man had us talk to his manager, we left. AJ the salesman was kind and we enjoyed him. His manager was rude! He tried to tell us they paid $8000 for the car and insinuated we were stupid multiple times. He told us they wanted to sell the car, but make a living, because he didn't like our offer. He showed us the NADA information on the car, which we had on our phone. The Rough Trade in is $6,175, Average $7,1285, Clean 7,900 and clean retail 10,025. Had the car been in better condition, I would have been willing to pay up to 9,000. However, the unexplainable dents and the lack of some of the basic package lowered the value of the vehicle. This car was a fleet rental. It only had 38,000 miles (3k more than what is stated on autotrader), but the top of the car, the dent on the bottom, the fact that it was sunbaked and had not been driven in some time (it was WAY dusty under the hood) lowers the value of the car. Asking to bargain regarding a vehicle is not a crime, and should not have been the reason the manager treated us like we were stupid! I really feel bad for the salesman who was going to see his child today because he would have been able to make a commission off of this vehicle, if it weren't for his manager.
