Little did he know mom and dad couldn't written a check for the full price of that car!! I had my 2020 CX-5 serviced here. I previously purchased it in Fresno CA and I had it service once at a place in New Mexico and then when I called back for another appointment they never called me back. I was able to get an appointment and even though I had to reach twice, they were super helpful and kind about having to change it. I was offered a courtesy vehicle that was near identical to my own, just a different model type. That was not the case in California or New Mexico Mazda dealership/service center. It was nice because I was able to go get food and I was three hours from home and I don't know anyone in Texas, and I didn't have to stay at the dealership all day. When I came back and wanted to look at a vehicle they got me in touch with someone to go show me some of their models and they were honest and helpful. They didn't have what I was looking for but they did say that they would keep an eye out and let me know when they would get more in. My tire has a nail in it and they let me know to patch it. My key fob had gone through the wash twice and wasn't responding using the buttons. They replaced the battery for free when Fresno Mazda charged for it. Brakes cleaned and checked out (under warranty), I got my oil changed, tires rotated, and my filters replaced. The only thing that was missed was the quote for the dent on the side of my car from someone's door hitting my back passenger side. Keegan Poole was the service Advisor that helped me multiple times. He suggested Patrick Paton for the dent repair since they weren't able to get to it. Vincent was the other service and parts gentleman that I worked with and he helped me get in touch with Hui Huang who showed me the CX-9's and told me about CX-90s that are coming out. Only thing I would change is in California they washed the outside of the vehicle before bringing it back, but I hear there's a shortage of people who want to do that job and it may not be extended to everywhere. I would prefer the courtesy vehicle over a car wash. I also need to get my car alignment done since it's now pulling to the left. But overall, Well worth the 3 hour drive because the service was so much better than the other Mazda dealerships I have been to. read more

Purchased a used vehicle under the guise of them replacing the front windshield. I did make an offer for sticker price and they pay told, but was met with a refusal on that and no counter offer from the dealership. Went to the bank next to send the money directly to them and had to wait 2 hours for the salesperson to actually get the correct information to my bank so the transfer can be made. 7 days after payment sent windshield is replaced and I'm told it's ready for pickup so I get a ride over to Midland to pickup vehicle. After signing the past bits of paperwork I'm told vehicle has 5 gallons of gas in it, along with "I will contact you in the next couple days to get your vehicle detailed." I leave the dealership and head off to meet the people that dropped me off at blue sky to eat. I start to leave and heading back to Odessa and notice there's no milage remaining showing meaning I better get to a gas station. I put 14.248g in the vehicle. Fast forward 4 weeks after purchasing said vehicle, I leave a message on their website to have the gm or equivalent contact me. Within a minute I get a sales manager contacting me and I explain I'd like to speak to the gm about all this. Fast forward 72 hours later still no gm contacting me. All talk no walk is what this dealership is and I recommend no one do business with these crooks as all they want is the money but won't hold their end of the bargains. read more

I would not recommend this dealership when it comes to trade in value. They tried to offer me 45k for a 2016 Corvette Stingray Z51 with only 7500 miles and in mint condition. I know they have to make money, but they could sell it for 60k tomorrow. This is just greed. I laughed in the salesman's face and told him to tell the sales manager that he needs to put down the crack pipe and drove off. Don't trade in your vehicle here. Sell it yourself or take it somewhere else. On a side note.. Troy the salesman was a straight shooter, very personable and I DO recommend him highly! So I added a star for him. I have used Mazda of Midland for most of my auto needs over the last few years. I have bought 2 vehicles from them directly, and I send family and employees there when they need a car, because I know they will be taken care of and given a fair deal. They are also reliable and quick for general maintenance. I like being able to get in and out for oil changes etc, rather than having to devote half a day to it like you have to at some places in town. It is an overall helpful experience at Mazda, which I appreciate, because I don't have a depth of knowledge about cars and their upkeep. read more

Don't deal with these liars. Manager came with the salesperson after my test-drive and offered me the car and sticker price. I said no. I told him the price I wanted. They said no, which is fine. But I had an offer for another car about $1800 cheaper than they were asking. But then the manager tries to feed me all of this BS about why I'm wrong. He tells me that this is not a used car and so that price is impossible. I told him that his car isn't new. It's clearly been marked that this car was repaired by hail damage. Then he tries to tell me that the deal on the car I received had to be an FWD only (not AWD) - sorry you're wrong again. I double checked that. Then he tries to feed me that the location that made me the offer doesn't have that car so that couldn't be. Now that's just plain simple BS salesman tactics. These guys can pull cars off other lots. In fact, the one I wanted to buy from this dealership was pulled from another lot! Don't deal with their manager, George. Addendum: So George emails me for the 3rd time today for the sole purpose of trying to prove how I am wrong. I've already refused the offer. So if you're not willing to negotiate, is the whole point just to try to prove me wrong? Well, sorry, I've showed you proof as to why your selling price is overpriced. I've showed you proof as to other dealerships that have outdone your price by over $1115. George uses sales tactics from 20+ years ago to try to trick customers. Get with the times. The used car they were selling it was way over priced and they still ran my credit always be careful before buying a car or they will run your credit make sure what your signing. They always lie!!! Terrible, avoid at all costs. Purchased a new vehicle here, constant problems last time vehicle was in for service a tech put two long scratches by the fuel door down to the sheet metal, would not compensate other than giving me some free touch up paint. Paid $500 out of pocket to claim it on my insurance, ended up being almost a $2000 repair had I not gone that route. Went to drop vehicle off today after the infotainment system crashed and power locks went out (only have 2500 miles on the car) and was told there were no loaner vehicles available and they'd call me when one was...Absolutely Awful I can't wait to get this car covered under lemon law so I can buy something else! read more

Service department...OMG!... Won't even look at my 2000 miata after dropping it off and keeping it almost a week.. I had to call them! And to top it off, the guy is telling me that anything over 10 years old they don't even look at.. Of course he "bumped it up to management" and got a head shake from them.. Can't get parts, etc. Blah blah blah... And by my description of the problem the repair would cost more than the car is worth... Unfortunately we lost the only key we had to our car yesterday afternoon at the grocery store in Lamesa, TX. After hours of looking in the store we came up empty. Usually it wouldn't be such a big deal, but we were only in town visiting family, and we were planning on driving back home to California today. It's about a 19 hour drive so we needed to get moving as soon as possible today. I called Mazda Roadside Assistance and they had our car towed from Lamesa to Mazda of Midland. When I called, the service department at Mazda of Midland, it was already 20 minutes past closing time and they were closed for the weekend. Luckily, Austin R. was there to help us out. I told him our unfortunate situation and he went above and beyond to solve our problem. He stayed until our car got dropped of Friday night, programmed 2 new keys for us, and did it all before our scheduled time to leave today. Austin R. thank you so much for all of your help! I am leaving this review for the new Volkswagen dealer connected to Mazda. My husband and I had been shopping around and had decided it was down to Subaru or VW. We decided we liked the Subaru Legacy and gave them the chance to make a deal how we wanted, they kept jerking is around so we left. THANKFULLY, we did. We met an amazingly nice, helpful woman, Paula, at VW. She did not pressure us or try talk us into a nicer model like everyone else had. She helped us find what we wanted and was fabulous. I can not say enough wonderful things about her. The manager, Ryan (?), was really great as well. We did not have to do the whole back and forth negotiation, they gave us exactly what we wanted and had agreed to right away. If I could give this dealership NEGATIVE stars I would. I bought a used car from this dealership, and part of our agreement (contract) was that they were going to fix a small issue the vehicle was having. Instead of the service depart diagnosing the issue they were just throwing parts at it, and left me without a car for a week.Finally my husband and I were fed up and we fixed the issue ourselves. The sales people here just want your money. I would NOT RECOMMEND buying a car from this dealership! Mitch the sales manager does not care about the customer his favorite line to hit you with is "well once you sign the contract we dont have to negotiate"(even tho we fixed the issue) and as for the sales person Ron he also likes to reassure you that "Mazda is losing money on this deal" (by giving you a discount off the listed price).As for the service department they do not inspect used cars,and do not properly diagnose the car either, i know this because the issue on my vehicle was just a loose clip. After dealing with these POS dealership I will now be driving to dallas or new mexico or any other state for that matter to purchase or get my vehicle repaired. Midland is known for bad service but MAZDA OF MIDLAND is the worse. If your just a one time customer thats all MAZDA OF MIDLAND will look at you as.
