I'm unsure if they cooked the rice more or just microwaved it, as it was more on the mushy side and tasted a bit "burnt" when it came back. The other plate did come back hot this time. The food itself was just alright. I've went to other hibachi spots where the food was more flavorful, the sauce slaps and it actually came out hot. The service was alright as well, but it was a bit strange that we somehow were served warm and cold dishes. We had drinks as well, the LIIT was good and the margarita was too. In total, we paid about $140 for 4 drinks and two hibachi entrees. Except, nothing about this experience felt like it was worth $140. Then a younger gentlemen who was handling the hookah walked by and I complained to him about making a table full of women priority over a couple who was there 20mins before them. Bathroom was super clean. Crowd was mixed with early 30's to late 40's - which was perfect since I'm 41. I started with the 3-for-All pot stickers, and let me tell you: THE POT STICKERS WERE DELICIOUS! They came out nice and hot, full of flavor, and were easily the best thing I ate. Honestly, pot sticker it up! I could probably order those as my entrée and be perfectly happy. Next up was the $5 margarita. It was okay, but it tasted more like juice than a margarita to me. I had to add another shot of tequila to give it a little help. After that, we were good! The bartender was nice and the customer service at the bar was good. Then came my bacon cheeseburger. I ordered it medium rare, but it arrived well done. And that wasn't even the biggest problem -- the burger was basically room temperature. No heat, no steam, nothing that made me feel like this burger had just come off the grill. Meanwhile, my fries were nice and hot. It honestly seemed like the burger had been sitting there waiting for the fries to finish. I spoke with the manager, Mr. Neil, and this is where TGI Fridays earned some points back. He was extremely polite, understanding and receptive. He looked at my ticket, saw exactly how I ordered the burger, and understood immediately why I wasn't happy with what I received. I've had a couple of other not-so-great experiences with TGI Fridays, but Mr. Neal asked me to give them another try.
