We have been to Estelles, Davids bridal and even the dress section for juniors at Macy's and Bloomingdales. Sizing was difficult if your dress size is bigger than a size 8, colors are limited as most places will only have few color choices and fabrics. So my daughter would end up trying the dress she that was most close to her ideal dress. Pricing was another issue, by far Estelles was the most expensive to find a custom fitted dress. With all of that we were lucky to find this dress shop that has dresses, tuxedos and limousine rentals. We could have have saved a few more dollars if we had ordered directly from the dress makers but to avoid headaches we had my daughter measured with a dress that was form fitting to what she was looking for. We saw color samples of the different choice materials and of course she wanted lots of bling for the occasion. The dress was ordered in Late July and we just received the call a week ago that it finally has arrived. Today we went for a fitting and to make sure that the fabric and bling are exactly what we had envision. I am happy to report that we are all very happy so far with what we have experienced. Be aware if you decided to pay cash, you can save on the tax. The price of the dress does not include the pressing or the petty coat ring skirt. We are actually 2 weeks away from the final delivery date as there are some alterations that the dress requires. Stay tuned for the reveal... I was looking for a custom made tuxedo as well for my self. However, they only rent tuxedos; so i will stick to buying one at century 21.

What surprised me most was that because everything was pre-packed and was an easy move, they charged me less than estimated because it was quick. So I didn't even have to pay more. Although there's limited options for bridesmaid colors and styles so if you have a lot (more than 3) of bridesmaids I don't recommend this place. They don't expect tips every time you come. The makeup artist that did the bride's makeup had amazing skills and also followed the bride throughout her wedding ceremony to touch up as well as change makeup style with the different outfits she rented. The photographer from thus studio really helped us loosen up and have fun while taking pictures together. My dress was too tight on the day of the wedding and they allowed me to switch out to a looser dress last minute. I don't know what the price was but the bride told me it was a more budget friendly option and it included everything in the package. Just need to book appointments to come in every time and no walk-ins allowed. Also they didn't all speak Cantonese which made it a little harder to communicate. Only one person spoke English well enough to communicate with. It's best to speak mandarin which I and 1 other bridesmaid couldn't really.
