The musical selection is mostly old school hip hop earlier in the evening. They told us a DJ would be there that evening, but he didn't arrive before we left a little after 10pm. Hookah is really my friend's thing, but I must say that their hookah is the best that I've had in the area. Period. Their menu items were a bit pricey, and we were there for the hookah - so I ordered the shrimp appetizer that came with a spicy citrus remoulade dipping sauce. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, not rubbery or chewy all. They were crispy on the outside and arrived to the table fresh and hot despite the fact that there was a moderate crowd. The Burning Leaf Cigar Lounge located in York County may just be one of the best cigar lounges in Hampton Roads. Equipped with a walk-in humidor that has a lot of top premium cigars, a very relaxing lounge, and a staff (Mr. H) that would make cigar aficionados come wherever and over again. I was able to buy six premium cigars for a very good price. I smoked in the lounge in a very comfy reclining chair and listen to soft jazz music and drank Puerto Rican coffee. At the end of the day, I had spent 6 hours in there LOL! Mr. H goes out of his way to assist you in your selection of sticks. There is a very good rewards plan where points add up quickly for you to use on future visits. A variety of drinks and water for you to enjoy while lounging. The place is also immaculate!
