My favorite food is of course lasagna and that's exactly what I got. I enjoy Thai food at medium +, my wife is no slouch for spice and this was borderline Thai hot. It caught me so off guard we switched food as she can handle it better than I can. She gave up on it too, we doctored it up later at home to make it eatable. I also ordered a mushroom/pancetta pizza To-go, we still haven't seen our server back, pizza arrived missing a topping, the pancetta. It takes 15 minutes to get the pancetta in a box separately, to put on later I guess. During this time, my wife visits the restroom, I guess a back of the house employee comes in and one cook in the back yells GTFO we are busy. There was also just not a lot of seasoning in general both in the pasta and in the chicken. It's one of those things where adding a bit of parmesan (which is one of the condiments) provided) might do the trick but I guess you get what you pay for. Again, our waitress also had to multitask so that might have a lot to do with it. The venue itself is not all that striking in decor. It's very plain and does the job. We reserved an area because there were a lot of us and the place we got seated at had a bunch of toys and stuff just right behind us and we had to put some of our things next to them. His warmth, professionalism, and genuine care set the tone for the whole event. The entire family and staff were just as kind and attentive. We had over 75 guests, and every single person had something wonderful to say, the food was delicious, the service was flawless, and the atmosphere felt like being welcomed into someone's home. They truly went above and beyond for us. After the event, a few of us lingered and were joined by their Nona (Mima). She is pure light - warm, welcoming, and full of love.
