They charged me an additional $8.50 just for using a card. I understand businesses have processing fees, but charging clients extra to use any kind of card -- especially an HSA card for a medical appointment -- feels excessive and should be clearly stated upfront. Write your fees off at tax time. Don't charge the client! Between the long wait, cold environment, and added card fee, I probably won't be going back to actually start hormone therapy
