I went in yesterday for a hormone appointment scheduled at 1:00 PM. I wasn't seen until about 1:50, and then once I was taken back into the room, I waited another 10-15 minutes for a nurse to come in. It just wasn't thorough enough for me. The office itself is very stark white and freezing cold, so definitely wear a jacket. The biggest issue for me was the payment. My appointment was $250, and I used my HSA card. They charged me an additional $8.50 just for using a card. I understand businesses have processing fees, but charging clients extra to use any kind of card -- especially an HSA card for a medical appointment -- feels excessive and should be clearly stated upfront. Write your fees off at tax time. Don't charge the client! Between the long wait, cold environment, and added card fee, I probably won't be going back to actually start hormone therapy read more

I went to Modern Wellness in 2023 for hormone pellets. I had them inserted twice within a year. They told me normal range for testosterone is 0-40, but they give you over 100, for whatever reason. They told me they flood the system. Well, a year later my hair started falling out significantly. Now 3 years later and I have lost half of my hair! I am now trying to figure out how to fix it. I went to my OBGYN and she said it may be irreversible, that when they flood your system like that with testosterone, your hair may never come back.. Why? Why? Why? Why? are they flooding our system and destroying our hair follicles????? I regret the day I ever walked into this clinic. read more

I been coming to this establishment for just around 4 years and now it's over. The atmosphere was great when this girl name Mandy used to work there. Now you have this unprofessional employee name Patricia who says she is the Manager. Patricia has the nastiest attitude and doesn't care about the concerns of the clients. She doesn't seem to fully understand her job when I have simple appointment questions. One time, as I was trying to get some information on my lab results, she suddenly stated she didn't like my tone and that someone was going to call me back. I was caught off guard by her bipolar behavior and asked if I could speak to the manager to have this resolved. Patricia stated she is the manager and just hung up. Talk about a kid with a temper tantrum. A manager is supposed to be the last person you talk to and have a resolution but instead, this one wanted to avoid a logical conversation due to poor communication skills. Lack of bearing and composure. Please remove. Honestly, I wouldn't want to come back here anyways because I tried their testosterone pellets and the way they administered it was substandard. Dr. Webb only used an alcohol prep swab to clean my glute that he was going to insert the pellets into. Because of how poorly he did the job, my body ended up rejecting one pellet (it squeezed itself out after a week). Although I wouldn't recommend the pellets because of that but rather I'd warn people that the pellets don't always distribute the hormones when you want it to. For example, while I was asleep 3am in the morning, I wake up feeling my heart beating fast, my veins pumped, a rush of energy, etc., from the distribution of hormones via pellets at an unfortunate time. It is not worth it. You no real control on when the hormones are released into your body. read more

Absolutely terrible experience all around. Appointment was at 12:30pm. Arrived at 12:20 to fill out extensive paperwork that felt very unnecessary for an IV. At 1pm I was still not seen for a basic IV treatment for recovering from food poisoning. The owner was there and was just as rude and condescending as the front desk staff. Basically blaming that they were busy, but at the same time they booked my appointment 1 hour ago. I asked for a refund and it took them another 10 minutes to process just so that I could leave. Oh and they also charge 3.5% extra when paying with a cc. This place is not modern whatsoever. Feels old, dirty and outdated. read more

This is the worst doctors office I have ever been to. Had my appointment with my doctor. Which was fine. But for some reason, the staff couldn't get my prescriptions to my pharmacy. It's already past my date to fill by 4 days. Had my appointment Thursday at 1. It's Friday afternoon and I've been told to wait until Monday to get my scripts filled because no one in this office can seem to be able to send my scripts the pharmacy. How is this even possible? A doctors office that can't send prescriptions? I even got hung up on by someone when I questioned them why. Modern Wellness. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! I was so excited when I found this clinic and made the decision to have Dr. Webb as my primary physician. Initial lists were all handled well and the nurses are superb. Doctor was friendly and everything was going well. Got my medication (2-month supply) and had to take a blood test to ensure everything was as it should be (almost $500, but I thought it was a one-time deal, so just paid it). Called in and left voicemail to let them know I needed a refill on my prescription and received a call back explaining that I needed another blood test. I asked why and they said that it is required (it is not. I have had this medication while living in CA for the past 14 years and have not had to do blood tests, once the dosage is established). I asked if a blood test is required every time I refill and was told yes. (so essentially they are making me do a $500 blood test every 60 days, for a medication that costs $90!!!) I asked to please speak to the doctor (my Primary Physician) and was told that he was with patients (fair), so I asked him to call me when he was free. 3 DAYS LATER AND NO CALL. So, I messaged them and asked for the Dr to please call me. As of today, still no call and I am just done with their lack of communication, explanation or allowing any access to the one person I am paying for expert medical attention. I am so disappointed with the service at Modern Wellness. It started so well, but just completely disintegrated, when controlled by their dreadful front desk staff, who have no idea about patient care or customer service. read more

I cannot say enough about this place! I went in for botox and had some questions regarding my hormones and how I was feeling. Mandi was AMAZING and informed me of some tests they could do so that we could figure out what was going on. I ended up receiving the results and it turned out I needed some testosterone. I chose to have the pellets inserted (not painful at all, and done right there in the office) and I can't even begin to tell you how much better I feel! Sharon (PA) is so knowledgeable and just a sweetheart so I never felt like I was uncomfortable or uninformed during the entire process. I am 47 years old and wish I knew about this sooner! This company's website is more impressive than the clinic itself. I was troubled by my first visit and would not return. I made an appointment to inquire about HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) and walked away as soon as I could. I walked in to the front desk attendant having a personal phone conversation. Then as I filled out the preliminary paperwork I could overhear the two attendants at the front trying to figure out exactly what the "medical" treatments that they are providing and ball parking a price to charge for such treatments. Upon filling out the paperwork, the attendant Chuy asked, "Hey bud, what you here for?" When I explained I would like to talk to someone about HRT he promptly brought into a smaller room where the discussion about the HRT treatment began to feel more like haggling than an actual discussion. "How much you want to pay?" "I can do cheaper than any clinic in town. Prove to me they are lower and I'll match it." I felt so uncomfortable throughout my visit that I opted to walk away before I put my myself with a clinic that I would certainly not be comfortable with providing me ANY medical treatment. read more

I came here to get some help with losing weight... I was put on the B12 shot which I liked and given a diet plan and told how many calories to follow. I couldn't quite seem to get them to hear me when I said I don't eat meat. So I followed the calorie intake and the scale just didn't move, for weeks, and this was with diet and exercise. So I was then told to lower my calories 100-200, which I did and that didn't help either. I just wasn't getting anywhere and couldn't seem to get much more help other than "don't give up" and "you'll get there". Nice people, but I'm not sure that weight loss is their forte. read more

I went to Modern Wellness Clinic for some assistance in losing weight. After a lot of research on my part I opted for the 40 day HCG program. Over the last 40 days I have lost close to 30 pounds. I have had guidance from the clinic the entire way. I am in contact with my coach every day. This keeps me accountable and if I'm struggling I get immediate feedback on what to do, what to eat, and just general encouragement. I am not sure as to what happen to "Jennifer R" in 2011, but my experiences here was great. I bought a groupon to try them out. I dont like to purchase personal care services for a bargain... but I am so glad I did! I purchased the underarm package (which is for eight treatments). I was a bit worried since i had heard from other people about their hair removal treatments that it hurt... like as if they are zapping/ burning each individual follicle. But the laser that BLL uses is great! For underarms, I think i am in there for about 10 mins at most. I saw results after my second treatment. They are really nice, professional and very affordable. They charged me three hundred dollars for laser hair removal (and wanted to charge extra for numbing cream, which I had negotiated as part of the deal), and implied I would have results in six treatments.
