We celebrated our daughter's 5th birthday at Charming Pony Parties yesterday, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish! Leading up to the party, Christy was incredibly responsive and patient, answering all of my questions via email and even giving us a tour of the venue ahead of time. The space was absolutely perfect for our princess unicorn theme. During the party, Rebecca and DJ were so kind, patient, and attentive with all 15 kids, allowing them to ride the ponies multiple times, helping with photos while riding, and bringing out the hare and baby goat for petting--which the kids absolutely loved. All of the animals, including the miniature horses, donkey, sheep, alpaca, chickens, geese, and ducks, were very friendly and tolerant with the children. It was obvious how well cared for and loved the animals are. DJ even went above and beyond by helping my husband lift a heavy cooler full of drinks during setup, which was greatly appreciated. The party setup looked beautiful, and everyone--kids and parents alike--had an amazing time. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Charming Pony Parties to anyone looking for a truly special and memorable celebration! read more

We had my daughter's birthday party here today and we're pretty disappointed. We just did the unicorn encounter because we were doing a small group with just a few kiddos. The whole reason we did this for her birthday is because my daughter is a strong believer in unicorns and absolutely loves them. Upon arriving the kids immediately noticed the "unicorn" and his horn was lopsided, falling off of his head. My daughter went up to the employee and told her that the horn was falling off. Later she told me that it broke her heart it wasn't a real unicorn. If you have a group coming specifically for a unicorn encounter that unicorn should be ready and looking magical as can be for their arrival. Additionally, the second reason we chose this experience was because the website said you would get to hold bunnies. My daughter loves bunnies and told me all leading up to the party that she couldn't wait to hold a bunny. The employee did NOT let the girls hold bunnies at all, she only let them pet the bunny. It also said they would feed alpacas, sheep, and goats. They didn't have the girls feed any animals at all. In fact no one was guiding through the process at all aside from a lady taking the girls in a circle twice on the pony. Then she disappeared for a long time until she finally came back out and brought out one bunny for them to pet. The AC was not turned on in the castle until we were about to leave and it was 2:30 in the afternoon so almost 100 degrees outside. Overall very disappointed and would not recommend going here. We paid $125 for the kids to basically run around a farm for an hour in 100 degrees. The reviews had been so great saying they make it a magical experience and sadly the magic was exactly what we were missing today. read more

My daughter had her 6th birthday here- in her words "BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!!" The kind host, Rebecca, helped the kids to ride the unicorn, Sparkles, who delightfully posed for pictures. She also brought out other animals for them to enjoy (the alpacas were so cute). In addition to the animals, there was playground areas and a castle with dress-up dresses. All ages of our kids had something to enjoy. There is also a good set of tables and chairs if you need them. They have helmets available there for riding. Pros: Outdoors You have a space all to your group Gorgeous unicorn (we had one due to the size of our party) Thoughtfully set up areas for snacks and play So much animal interaction for kids Room to run around Fun structures for dressing up Very helpful, patient owner. She helped unload/set up and was so patient with kids during rides Cons: Honestly I didn't see any. To those stating it was not super clean - we didn't see anything concerning hygiene-wise. Omg this is the perfect place to have your kids party if they love pony's, unicorns or horses. we had our daughtera 6 bday party here last weekend she loved it. the ponies where dress like unicorns she love that said it was her favorite bi party ever!!! the ladies helping did a great they had every setup all we had do it's pit the cake and food out. They were great and the kids had amazing time Cotton candy and ponies were their favorite. I highly recommend this places for parties and the prices was right. read more

We came here for a birthday party of another child and I'm so very glad that we did - I now know not to schedule my daughter's party here as I had intended. The animals were FILTHY. I've grown up around horses and obviously they're dirty in general but these poor ponies had caked on tears, matted hair and their hooves were clearly unkept. The play structures were totally breaking down, literally the wood was rotten in some areas and doors falling off of the hinges. Later we saw more animals who were ALSO DISGUSTING! Every animal at this place looked unhealthy. It was sad. On top of that the tack was also gross as were the helmets. The parties at this place are not cheap so with that in mind I expected more. The staff are very dedicated and patient with the kids. They're quick to offer help carrying supplies from cars over to the seating area. Animals all look happy and well cared for and pony handlers love answering general questions about the different animals on the property and are excellent about helping nervous kids get over their fear riding for the first time. First, I want to start by saying that the kids had a lot of fun and that is the only reason it's getting any stars. The issues I experienced were mostly that it was completely filthy. I know it's a ranch and expect dirt but it's full of debris, rundown and actually somewhat dangerous. The castle had cobwebs with spiders all over the ceiling, and every single toy inside was covered in THICK layers of dust. The doors on the castle were actually falling off at the hinges and there were exposed nails and screws. We used bricks to hold the door in place so none of the kids would get cut. The tables, chairs and table cloths were also pretty stained up and completely wrinkled. The website claimed in large letters that it's sanitized after each event, which I can guarantee by what we saw is not true. The owner whom I was in contact with for weeks prior wasn't even there the day of our party (apparently had an event to attend that weekend). This is fine but she gave no heads up and the 2 people who were "helping" us didn't even greet us when we arrived. I had to approach the woman and introduce myself. She seemed uncomfortable talking with me and it felt pretty awkward. Then after about 45 min I finally asked the young boy working if they were planning to bring the unicorns out any time soon. His response was "yah, whenever you say". Nobody ever mentioned me needing to initiate their appearance, thank goodness I asked or they probably would not have made one at all. Honestly, it was just poorly run and unprofessional. As I stated it ended up being fine since the little ones didn't care about the filth but personally I was pretty disappointed with the venue's appearance for the money we paid. I wish you better luck if you chose to use this venue. read more
