Really wonderful facial location. Found them on Groupon, easy parking with a basement lot. A few stairs as this is on the second floor. This facial was more like a facial exercise. I've had many facials and this was the most massage I've ever had incorporated into my facial. I loved it. Very invigorating and relaxing at the same time. I had an aqua facial and they added on a mask for me. I was also sold on the different types of facials they have here. All very reasonably priced if you get their packaged deals. I recently went to Charming Skin Care for a much needed facial after purchasing a Groupon for the Aqua Peel treatment. Overall, the service was really good and relaxing. I had Yuki as my esthetician and the facial massage was absolutely amazing. It was incredibly relaxing and probably my favorite part. A few things could have made the experience even better. I do wish the esthetician had talked me through the steps of the facial a bit more and asked about any problem areas or skin concerns beforehand. Also, after the mask was applied, the esthetician left the room without letting me know she was done or when she would be coming back, so I ended up laying there for over 15 minutes unsure of what was happening. Went here with a Groupon and I got a 60 minute ultrasound facial. It was very relaxing and worth 35 dollars.

I used a GroupOn purchase recently for an ultrasound facial and AquaPeel session. I have had facials done in Manhattan before, and they were all very painful. The worst is when my skin looked angry and red for days after those facials. The AquaPeel procedure done at Charming Care was gentle enough, but very effective because I could see the amount sebum that was collected after the AquaPeel had diminished. My facial was relatively relaxing, and not aggressive like my earlier facials done in Manhattan. My care attendant was very patient, took time to explain the different procedures and techniques she was using on me and I felt well taken care from start to finish. I definitely recommend this place because of the cleanliness, for their variety of services, and for their level of professionalism. read more

They upgraded my facial free of charge, I ended up buying a package which came out to around $60 per facial. Definitely book an early appointment because they seem to get a bit backed up layer in the day. They also have Parking which is a huge plus! read more

Service received: massage and facial (Groupon) I had a 2 PM appt and arrived 15 minutes early (at 1:45 PM). As I am patiently waiting, understanding that I'm early, another customer walks in at 1:55 PM and was taken to the back by 1:57 PM. Here is where I parenthetically mention that this is an Asian salon, and the customer who came in after me and was taken in before me was also Asian. It was not until 2:09 PM that I was registered by staff and taken to the back a couple of minutes later. The service itself was relaxing, and I received the extra time that everyone else mentioned is standard (not given to me specifically for any reason). The person performing my facial was also very nice. The 3 stars are for these 2 reasons only. At the end of the service, a product clearly not meant for darker skin was put on to make the skin look clearer. It was more obvious on my skin tone and looked like a white cast. At the end of it all, I was told by the same woman at the front that my optional tip was not enough. That was the last straw that prompted the writing of this full and honest review. In short, if you are Asian, I would definitely recommend this place for you. Otherwise, shop around for more options. read more
