He is 4 he wasnt speaking at the time and he doesnt know left from right! He is swallowing water and is scared so i jumped in to save him fully clothed and ruined my headphones, but they werent important my baby was! they were looking at me weird so my lovely brothers and sisters of all beautiful shades please watch your own kids and keep them safe because our white counterparts will not! wanted to come here so bad and left disappointed and furious! watch not one manager or anybody reach out to see what happened. smh!

It is definitely an advantage to have the playground shaded by large trees. Just be aware that the trees do shed their large roller seeds that young toddlers can easily slip on. Still, I'd rather take shade over blatant sun exposure and a playground that turns into a furnace. The playground could use a bit of an upgrade and a new mulching job, but my boys love playing here. Included are a few slides and swings within a curbed area. Surrounding the playground are soccer fields and walking trails (my boys also use it to ride their bicycles). One loops all the way to the east past residences. If you're fortunate you may hear some of the wild turkeys gobble in the woods; too bad their territory is shrinking. Happy yelping!

The park had a shaded area with benches under the trees and kiddie pools with a faucet. Unfortunately, people don't seem to pick up well after their pups at this park so please watch your step! Stepping in dog poop makes for a really bad day. I do prefer this dog park over the Conestee dog park because this one has more grassy areas, some agility equipment and more open space for the dogs to run.

Best YMCA Experience--Outdoor Pool Perfection!…read more We had an amazing day at this YMCA! The outdoor pool is hands down the best in the area--clean, refreshing, and super family-friendly. My kids and I spent five full hours splashing, swimming, and soaking up the perfect weather. It honestly felt like a mini resort day! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the whole place had such a positive, safe vibe. Definitely a place you feel good bringing your family to again and again. Important tip: If you're signing up, go for the all-access membership! It's not that much more, and it lets you use any YMCA location--not just the one you originally signed up at. I use the other Spartanburg YMCAs for their awesome gyms and classes, but this location is the pool champion, no contest. Clean, well-run, and perfect for summer fun. Highly recommend! I went here with a group of kids ages 10 all the way down to 1, and they all had a great time. The ground is nice and spongy, so it's easy for toddlers to walk on compared to wood chips, and it prevents injuries when the kids fall. There are multiple different play areas, and my girls loved the "obstacle course" as they called it, which was basically just a route around the play equipment without touching the ground. There are bathrooms nearby and a covered picnic area if you want to pack a lunch. 2 thumbs up for Cleveland Park! *Added bonus: you are so close to the zoo that can hear the lemurs when they get rowdy, which is a plus if you are an animal lover :)
