There are about 4-5 people behind the counter and ONE is serving customers. It makes no sense and screams laziness. I have noticed this at almost every branch, which stands in contrast with over banks and the way they work.

My poor rating specifically comes from working with the AVP/Relationship Manager, Bobby Wu, as well as the policies of the new bank. They have been dishonest on two specific occasions with me, causing me to lose money. After the second one, I closed the account and have left. Most recently, my CD renewed and I went from 4% interest to 0.7% interest for a CD at a time when interest rates are higher than they have been in over a decade. While it is on me that I missed the renewal, CBC doesn't advertise their rates and when asked they say they negotiate them with members. When I complained, they said they could give me 3.5%. What type of bank does that? They never apologized for trying to cheat me in the first place. I wonder how many other members have had their interest rates demoted without them realizing it. Had they renewed at the going rate, they would never have lost my business in the first place. This bank is very shady.

As the only person in line, I waited 30 minutes and once I was "helped" I met with admonitions and scolding because I didn't have my driver's license (I was only using the ATM!) and the curtness and impatience of the Staff person was an abysmal experience. And he never did answer my initial query: what should I do next time so I can deposit my checks via ATM (god knows I never want to go inside again). I'm taking my dough and going somewhere else

I wasn't called up until about 9:47am, which means I waited roughly 22 minutes just to complete a basic transaction. For a weekday morning, this wait time was disappointing and felt unnecessary. Unfortunately, the lack of staffing made it seem like this branch does not prioritize customer service or efficiency. I hope management will consider scheduling adequate tellers during peak hours to better serve customers.
