I went to this Chase Bank branch and asked to exchange for crisp $100 bills. The banker didn't even bother to explain -- they just gave me used bills without a word. When I asked specifically for "crisp money," I was told they don't carry new $100 bills at all. Seriously? A major bank like Chase doesn't have any crisp $100 bills? That's hard to believe -- and even if that were true, the attitude and lack of proper communication were unacceptable. This kind of careless and dismissive service makes me question how a bank like Chase operates. Don't customers deserve clear information and at least the effort to check or explain? The female manager here is unorganized and doesn't take responsibility. When she realized she approved too many associates' days off on the same day, she didn't step up to help or fill the gap. Instead, she turned multiple clients away with a dismissive attitude suggesting appointments on the Chase app... 2 weeks later. If you're looking for a bank that handles business, I suggest banking with US Bank, their managers step up to fill any gaps and respect their clients time. Stopped by on Saturday (11/30) to move my high schooler from the children's checking account to the high school one. Walked in and there was one customer at the teller and us. First employee sitting in a cubicle is messing around on his computer, doesn't even see the 3 of us standing there. I tell him what we are there for and he says that he doesn't think they have time to open an account. He goes to ask another employee and she wiggles her mouse and after a few minutes says they need an appointment, we're all booked up right now. Clearly, you are as it was empty. Asked for a manager and she was out, the "lead" Juanita said "you need to make an appointment, we're busy". Are you Juanita because a customer is here to give you business yet you turn it down. 3 employees just sitting around, only employee working was the teller. I went to deposit cash through the drive through ATM last night and their machine not only didn't deposit the money I put in but ate my debit card as well (DO NOT deposit money in the drive through!! Worst group of idiots I have ever had to deal with besides that ignorant Farmers ins in the same building. I paid of my chase credit card early as I am in the process of buying a home. I paid it from my chase checking account. They held the money for 2 days and my credit score dropped 45 points. They have the wrong information reported to the credit agencies. They say I have a 3,000 max however I have a 6,300 max credit amount. So on paper it appeared I was almost maxed out. I called to ask wtf they are doing and was told they had to hold the funds to make sure they cleared. They money came from the same chase account to pay off a chase card!!!! First off, I love Chase. I've never had issues banking with Chase until about a month or two ago. All I wanted to do was update my last name on my business account. The rep who was helping me, Won, didn't know what she was doing and deleted my business account which then in turn resulted in problem after problem. I've been in this branch numerous times since then to try and resolve the issue so my account doesn't get closed by Chase. Nobody seems to know what they're doing at this branch including the branch manager and business relations manager. I've sat in this branch a couple times now on the phone with other Chase reps asking how to resolve my issues and then I tell this branch's employees what they need to do. That's ridiculous that I'm doing the leg work for these employees. They should be figuring out how to resolve my issues for me, not the other way around. You get paid to do your job so do it and do it. If you're not sure how to do something, ask for help from higher-ups. I've escalated these issues but of course nothing has happened. read more

She was of no help to me whatsoever, when I asked questions she said "I don't know" when asked if she could do some mathematical figures for me to determine an interest rate. I went to this branch and the woman at her desk said she had an appointment (no one was there) and that we needed to wait in the other line to make an appointment. Waited in that line for 15 minutes. Get to a rep and she tells us that they have availability hours later. We asked her how long the process was going to take and she said about 20 minutes. The branch manager was totally unhelpful and did not offer any assistance even though I had waited for 30 min at this point. The best part about this bank is that they don't hassle you about opening up a debit card or a credit card every time you stop by. Ahem, Well's Fargo. All the employees that have helped me with whatever I've needed have been extremely helpful and polite and not pushy at all. I much prefer coming here than Well's Fargo- where I feel like I have to be rude in order for them to leave me alone about opening up more accounts or cards with them. So I really, really appreciate that. My only gripe is it's location. Since I first ever opened a bank account it's been with Chase . Although my family has had other banks like BOFA, WF , etc. In my opinion Chase is a great way to bank , and whenever I've had any issues , Veronica Arroyo has always been super helpful and patient even before she came to the Fullerton location and because of her exceptional customer service I continue to bank with Chase . All the surrounding bank associates are also very helpful and kind . I've never had an issue in any LM Or Fullerton locations . With that being said , if this location was not the best experience for you before ... I do believe that with Veronicas skills and positive attitude , this location will learn , grow , and become a positive , comfortable place for all the Fullerton locals and visitors . Ms. Arroyo is a very professional, and an excellent bank associate who has a lot of potential and can excel in just about anything. I believe all bank associates should take notes on how she communicates with her customers especially when dealing with difficult account matters . The patience she has with kids, and impatient adults, or just confused customers is a skill she has naturally perfected . The manager also seems very nice and helpful along with the young man named IAN at the front desk who saw me signing in today and wanted to make sure I had been helped even before I could sit down . I'm totally amazed at Chase Bank policies. I wanted to open a trustee account with 3 people as trustees in accordance with my fathers will. Chase legal department told me I'd have to have the other 2 trustees sign a resignation letter removing them from the trust (defeating the entire purpose of a trust). When I asked for that in writing they were not willing to give me anything in writing, saying they could only tell it to use verbally. I hope everyone can understand how scary that is, not only for trusts but for any account. They are not willing to back up what they say in writing. After running my own business for over 20 years I would NEVER refuse to write down what I've said orally.
