It is really impressive how little effort- that is to say no effort- the employees make to make you feel valued as a customer. It would be a better experience if they fired every single person who worked there and just told everyone to use the app or the website. At least then you would understand why you felt like crap and are so frustrated. I am trying to give you money and you basically seem inconvenienced that I come into your business. First of all Chase Bank is like a big major rip-off especially the LaGrange branch, they will take your money open an account then immediately close your account and then you have to wait 120 days to get your money back. All the men in there have clown shoes too like Bozo the clown, I never seen shoes like that they wear tight pants they can't even sit down they look like Bobby Darin with Bozo shoes on, I never seen anything like that in my life the service is terrible they do not like to help people they're not friendly why are they even in business???, oh yeah they're in LaGrange and nobody ever gets off in this town... Untrained, unprofessional, don't know their own rules. Went in to deposit a check that was endorsed to me by my repair shop. I've done this plenty of times. The reason is I pay for the repairs myself because the shop does other work for me to the vehicle while it is in repairs. So I pay for the work myself all together. The bank teller, greeter and manager had no clue what they were doing. Even called chase over the phone and had them to speak to the branch, no luck. Long story short, they denied me depositing into my account with them. I am a 5 year chase customer have 2 mortgages, 2 credit cards and a savings account with them. But the frustration I went through with this branch could have made me close all of them. Need to get retrained. read more

Recent experience has been getting worse and worse. 1 teller has been giving me a hard time doing business there ... for being asian?? 15+ years, around 10 personal and business accounts. Hate to say that I have to look for a different bank to do business with. read more

Oh goodie, I'm the first to review. You can't ignore customers on a NON-BUSY day when there are 9 or more employees in the branch...bottom line! Where do I begin. OK, let's start with, its Monday, 12:15pm. This medium sized branch is relatively empty, except for 3 tellers with one customer each, the 5 suits in their fishbowl cubicles (with no customers each), the receptionist (on the phone with a customer) and the Chase guy who is just leaving for lunch. Enter yours truly, with clipboard in hand, obviously in high energy mode, just want to get a document notarized and book outta there. Looks easy, given the customer to SUIT ratio. But I don't get to tell the receptionist that I need a document notarized (well, cuz she's on the phone) and frankly, no one else gives a damn. That's right, 5 suits sitting in their comfortable cubicles and not a single one glances up. (Whatever they were staring at on their computer screens must have been MESMERIZING cuz they never looked up) Counting...1 min, 2 mins, 3 mins....a lady gets in line behind me.....4 mins, another woman enters with dog....4 mins and counting.. I'd check what they were looking at if I were the Regional. What's that???? One of the suits looks up! Sees receptionist on phone. Sees line. Calls to the baby suit in cubicle next to him. They come out of cube exchange words while walking rapidly towards us. Bossy suit tells baby suit to deal with the line. While Bossy suit hightails it out of the line of fire to God knows where and does not resurface for the entire time I'm in the bank! I need a document notarized, I tell the baby suit. He says, well, I'll get you one when one becomes available. Meanwhile, lady one and two get seen, while I wait. Well, I find out later that out of the 9 employees in the bank only 2 are notaries. The overwhelmed receptionist at the desk and the bossy suit who could care less that there were people waiting to be served. So eventually, the receptionist notarizes my document, apologizes for the wait, the only bright spot in the visit, (Elizabeth) I believe her name was. My son manages a bank and has to sell daily, so I know the routine. I fully expected, after having my Assumed Business Name document notarized, to be hit with offers to open my business account at Chase and was all ready with my, "sorry I'm opening the account with my son's bank" (US BANK). But NOT ONE PERSON tried to sell me any products. Receptionist obviously was not trained to do so and was obviously not trained to refer me to someone who could tell me about their products. (Okay, I was curious) Not her fault. Is Chase that secure in having our money that they have totally ignored customer service? Wasn't always like this at this branch. Someone here needs to step up the customer service game, because its lacking here. We may just have to move some things around ourselves. read more

Went in to Chase bank today to settle my late parents estate and cash in their savings bonds which required a medallion certification. Because I did not have a bank account with Chase, I would not be able to get the medallion. Assistant Vice President James Karnak to the rescue! Because i had credit cards through Chase, he was able to verify and process the needed stamp! My sister had the same issue and James was kind enough to assist her in opening an account with them right there and then in order for her to qualify for the needed medallion certification as well! What started out rather disappointing was turned into a great success due to James willingness to assist us by making the process easy and timely. He is a great asset to Chase Bank and we are happy to use Chase for our banking needs in the future. read more

This bank is always an issue for me. Whenever I have a problem with my account, I try to call with no answer. My card information got stolen and they weren't able to provide me with any information at all. read more

I live locally in La Grange, and this bank has very poor customer service. When I tried to get back some service fees, their assistant manager insisted they could not go past 120 days on their computer to refund back the money. On the other hand, I called Chase from home and they credited me the money right back into my account. I approached the Assistant Branch Manager, Corrine Aguilar again today and told her that I had been credited by phone. There was no apology...just "I guess they have a higher level of ability than I do here." What poor management. I would avoid this particular branch and bank elsewhere. read more
