Sonia & Alina are the golden standard of customer service. Fast initiative to check in with what I needed as a fresh customer and made sure I felt comfortable. They assisted amazingly with making sure I got to talk to someone with bank processes and even got me with a sit down member 15 minutes in while the next available appointment was in 3 hours! I am blown away by this branch. I have been a chase customer might of fact a Washington mutual fan if you remember. I walked into this place and asked to speak to a business specialist and sure enough I was greeted with the nicest person ever. Jely L did an amazing job opening an account, scheduling me and answering every question I had. I definitely recommend Jely for business accounts. It isn't the location it's Chase Bank. Somehow someone got one of my ATM cards although I had both of them in my possession. In one day they charged over $500 in gasoline at two different gas stations with five different occurrences. Chase Bank has decided that there is no fraud. My god how could they miss this? The thing is they didn't you can't miss that that is somebody out there selling gas to someone else. Chase bank does not care about it's customers in the least. They have a fiduciary responsibility to me and they are not for filling it. They are going to charge me for someone else ripping me off. There are no words for what an mistake this is. Oh and get this it happened in North Hollywood and I live right outside of San Francisco. There are at least 10 people who can witness that I was at work in Moraga California on that day. The bank in general is good, other facilities are better, this one in specific has the worst costumer service, I had been there 3 times in my life and all 3 were terrible, the workers are not helpful at all, I'm like other facilities I've visit, and whenever I try calling to this one nobody ever picks up, not even in America's are this bad read more

The worst customer service ever!! Have been back and forth to branches to deal with my moms trusts. Most branches don't have notaries and they don't respect your time. I have been sitting at the branch for 45 minutes while the so called banker enters information on the computer. I am starting to wonder if they will ever get done. Layers of paperwork and lack of staffing and training of staff is horrifying. read more

Since there are no Zeros for a review I am left with giving one star. I called to inquire about a safe deposit box. I spoke to the branch manager, Daisy, who assured me someone would call me back the same day. Guess what? No call back that day or the next. I called again. Repeat... It has now been a week and still no call back. I decided to call again today. Wow! The phone just rang and rang. Really? A bank doesn't answer their phone for all the fees they charge? This is concerning. I hung up and called back again. This time I got a weird unprofessional sounded voicemail that did not immediately identify itself as Chase Bank. Ugg! Alejandro was very helpful in opening a joint account, at the only time my girlfriend and I were available. He was professional and prompt, helping meet all our needs. I know some people can have a bad experience at banks, but give this one a try. Pro tip: call early and make an appointment with a banker. read more

I would give zero stars if I could! My boyfriend went to do a transfer to DEPOSIT MONEY into my account with my bank card so we can pay rent. Which we have done for the past 12 months with no problems. I'm guessing someone was having a bad day and decided to take it out of my boyfriend, so they took my bank card for reasons they stated were "fraud" and gave him a really hard time. We have done this for the past 12 months (Chase records show the transfers for same amount around first of month) with no problems..and now it's the day rents due (my rent is taken from my account automatically)but I have no bankcard. My boyfriend called me very upset and I'm at work on my 30 minute lunch break and I'm told I need to call the bank branch in Richmond. When I do I am i'm told by the person who answered the phone that they can't help me right now because there with another customer, and they said they'd call me back. Then why answer the phone?! I insisted I'd hold because I didn't want to $180 late fee on my rent and was just confused as what was going on. Alejandro (the person I spoke to)got back on the phone and explain that they were just doing their job because he didn't have access to my account. Again..Depositing money not withdrawing. Best part is they still deposited the money but confiscated my bank card?! What policy is that?! We were doing something wrong then why would they have taken the money? Wasn't given any answers, but I was told that I needed to go get a new bank card, but my rent Still could be taken out of the account as usual which was some Relief. So.. I left work early.. barely made it to the bank in San Francisco before they closed to get a new bank card because I pay all my bills online with a debit card. They told me they would waive the fee and get me a bank card in two days. The teller there -Mia- who is kind and helpful :) - told me that they didn't even cancel my card in Richmond!!!!! All this drama for what?! Guess what today is Feb. 8th and UPS is delayed!! Still no bankcard and have bills to pay!! Thanks a lot Alejandra and whatever teller took my bank card for no reason! They don't answer their phone. Had meeting with financial advisor there, gave him all my info, did followup, called, emailed, never heard from him again. Last year when my debit card got stolen they didn't link the new account to my safety deposit box. Got the bill saying it would auto debit to my checking, but since it wasn't linked, it didn't get paid. Had to pay with a late fee that banker said would be credited back -- talked to someone in the branch even. Never got credited back. Now I have the bill again saying it will auto debit and I can't find out if it ever got linked or not because they won't answer their phone. Left a message yesterday -- no call back. read more

I m just here to inquire about some new plans and waiting here from last 2 hrs, with my 4 urs old daughter and they dont even have a restroom to go to actually no restroom for a customer at all. So you can never really leave a bank. I took most of my accounts to another credit union years ago but left my savings account here. When I came in to withdraw some money I inquired what I needed to do to close that account. I followed the directions of coming back during the week and waiting 40 minutes to speak with an account Representative. He was very nice but tried to do everything to not close the account. When I was adamant, he grudgingly "started the process" to close the account & I signed the paperwork to close it and withdrew all the monies. He is where the next set of problems began. I don't have any other accounts with Chase for them to transfer the money to so I was given the amount plus .3 for the accrued interest. I was called later that day and told my account was over withdrawn. When I called, I was told the account rep cannot close an account with a debit balance. Are you kidding!!! After an hour spent closing an account I have to go back to the bank & give them back 3 cents, so they can close the account after charging me $12.99 for not having enough money in my account to close it again, so they can mail me a check for .03 cents. What is wrong with this. If an Account Representative doesn't know how to close an account- they shouldn't be allowed to do this! So I am back spending another 45 minutes at the bank trying to resolve this. DO NOT USE Chase Banks, and if you are - LEAVE while you still can. Unbelievably poor customer service. Went in shortly after 1:15 on this Thursday to open a checking and savings account. No bank person at a desk acknowledged me. Finally asked a teller who to see to open accounts. She asked me to write down my name. Several minutes later a "banker" came over to say that I could be helped in 45 minutes to an hour or I could make and appointment. There were two "bankers" at desks with not helping any customers. Although I am existing mortgage and credit card customer, which I told the person who said no one was available to help me, it is unlikely that I will come to Chase for any future loan or credit business. read more
