Tim Carpenter was my Mortgage Loan Originator at Wright-Patt Credit Union e. The initial contact was amenable. He told me what I would need, and I provide the information on the same day. After that things went downhill. He was very slow to respond. When he replied he did not answer the question I asked him. He did not call the listing agent or the buyers agent in a timely way. He asked me to provide him the same document repeatedly. He made mistakes in the closing documents because he did not read his emails thoroughly, so he did not have current information. An easy straight forward mortgage took three months to complete. I called and left messages, he did not respond for many days. When I was finally fed up with his service, I called and emailed his supervisor Bill Brogan, Loan Account Executive @ Union Savings Bank President, he never called me back. I did get a mortgage but the experience was so stressful that I will never use them again.

Why would I bank anywhere else? Sometimes, the wait inside is long. That can be irritating but I just try not to go inside when I'm in a hurry. They're busy because they're a great bank! I've always been waited on by friendly tellers....never had a single bad encounter with a staff member. I've visited a few other locations, and even though I live closer to the one on Xenia Ave, I prefer to go a little further to go to this one. I will never switch banks as long as they remain the way they are now...just perfect.

My wife and I opened a saving account due to the competitive interest bearing on the money we maintain in the account. In addition, Code Credit Union was running a great promotion on loans. We refinance both of our vehicles with outstanding interest rates. As far as customer service, I found this location to exceed my experiences in traditional banks. I was greeted by a teller every time I walk into the door. The staff is polite and helpful. Branch Manger, Angie, was professional and enjoyable to work with while applying for auto refinancing loans. Angie was quick to return phone calls and gave helpful suggestions which met our financial needs. If you are also sick and tired of the large banks with fees and poor customer service, I recommend you try Code Credit Union. I am in the process of transition funds from traditional banks to this credit union due to the friendly service and customer oriented financial products.

I scheduled my appointment with Carly, but she was busy when I arrived, so a woman who said she was her manager took me instead. This manager was one of the most unpleasant people I have ever dealt with in customer service. She was rude, dismissive, patronizing, and the whole interaction felt more like a confrontation rather than getting travel advice. She talked down to me the entire time, looking at me like I was stupid anytime I answered her questions. Carly was wonderful, exactly what you'd expect; she was kind and very helpful. But her manager had an abhorrent attitude and should not be working customer service in my opinion. As a manager, you are the face of your location, you set the tone for your environment. Whoever this woman was, was not that. Her position should certainly be reevaluated and she should be retrained at the least. Props to Carly for being great.
