I had an experience of a lifetime riding an Indian Scout around the island. I called several prices and found Chase's to be very competitive for the location right in Waikiki. The process was easy to get going. Maybe 5 minutes. Good helmets. Need your own gloves and other gear. The bikes were beautiful and rode like a dream. A good selection for a small place. The staff was really friendly and you can tell they love riding. The guy who helped me shared his stoke and his normal weekend ride that he does with his sons. I did it just like he said. This review is about a year late, but better late than never - even in the case of returning your motorcycle. Me and a long-time friend hadn't ridden motorcycles together before, but we had our licenses for over 10 years at this point so we decided to bite the bullet and reserve two Harleys. We arrived early that morning probably 10-15 minutes before "opening." Had my girlfriend drive my car back to my apartment with his girlfriend - where we planned to start our round island adventure. While they went back, we checked in and gave our information. They quickly walked us through any nuances of the bikes and ensured they were filled up then off we went. These bikes were incredibly heavy, a far cry from how I felt on a sports bike. HOWEVER, due to the low center of gravity, it was way more easier to balance and frankly, while not a knee dragging type of vehicle - I felt extremely comfortable riding it. We got back to my apartment and started the trip. Hit up literally every spot you could imagine heading East to North. We filled up gas in North Shore and quickly realized we were running out of time already. Riding over 60mph on these without a windshield again was just another strange difference from a sports bike I was not ready for, but we got back to the apartment to drop off the ladies. My buddy and I called Chase Hawaii and let them know where we were and that we were running late but on the way. They ensured us they would still be there upon our return. No extra charge for the extra 15-20 minutes we took to get back, but we did drain a fair amount of gas before getting back since we were rushing so we got charged for that, but overall not bad. I really enjoyed this day and I just... it's memories worth a lifetime. I'm so thankful for the opportunity to get back on a motorcycle and to have shared it with some of my closest loved ones. It was an amazing experience and I wish/hope that anyone who comes here experiences the same thing. read more

I was looking to rent a motorcycle in Waikiki and this place came in to recommendation from another local business. They have a good selection of motorcycles. I rented a Harley 48. They also have triumphs and Indians as well as a few other makes. All the bikes look really clean and pretty new. I've only walked past other rental places. But the employees here seem to take a personal pride in their product. The place is pretty easy going but the employees are all business and will make sure you get the bike and the information you need. They also very helpful. They have loaner helmets you can use and you can also purchase gloves or bandanas to protect yourself even further. And if you don't know the area they'll give you a recommendation on a really good route for the day. The prices are very reasonable. I suggest getting the extra insurance which is only like $10 more. And next time I come to Waikiki I'll probably rent a bike again. Maybe something different! read more

I rented a harley davidson iron 883 from them while i was in waikiki. They are conveniently located in the main strip and has many newer bikes to offer. Service was nice and kind. Before i took off, they inspected the bike to make sure that it was safe to ride. Bike was in great condition and the modified exhaust was so satisfying to hear. This was such a fun experience. Riding around on a scooter in bathing suits was a blast. It felt like the Jetsons riding one so we couldn't stop laughing the whole time. Rented a motorcycle, with faulty starter... My bf and I rented a beautiful motorcycle for 24 hrs to ride the island and to watch the sunrise the next day before returning it back. We stopped along North Shore many times, until we reached Wameia Bay Beach before heading back to our dinner reservations at Waikiki. We got stranded due to the motorcycle not starting. We are very experienced riders and never have ever come across something like this. We contacted Chase rentals numerous times throughout the evening. No one picked up! They assured us that if anything should happen, to contact them for help! We exhausted all our options, we have a personal AAA account in which the Hawaiian tow company would provide service for an additional $500, and we would have to find our own way back to the hotel. We returned to Chase the next morning to tell them what had happened and where the bike was located. The bike was towed, and we were told that they would work it out with us. After a few communications, Brent lied to us and said that the dealer realigned the ignition, and Harley had it and was not sure of the bill on the alignment that they did, then he indicated that when they retrieved the bike from the towing company, they took the alignment tool and did it themselves and it was working fine! So bottom line, the employee apparently took home the company phone but did not answer our 10 calls, as to why he didn't pick up..that was not our fault but became our issue. Also not our fault was there was hesitancy for tow service, which we would not have needed had the employee picked up the phone. We were tourists stranded in an area unfamiliar to us after making multiple efforts to try and contact Chase rentals, missed dinner reservations that we'd scheduled for that evening which, needless to say, also put a damper to the ending of our vacation in Hawaii. We consider anything associated with the bike that malfunctioned on us to be Chase rentals responsibility since we had no available help and had to 'pay to tow' ourselves from the beach back to our hotel. As stated, we are experienced riders and there would be no reason for us to turn the ignition into 'service mode'. The bike would not start. Period. We have now been charged with towing, the rental in which we got charged extra for 24 hours in which we only had the bike for 12 hrs and a parking ticket. Brent was unreasonable to communicate with, but gladly charged my card without permission! Don't rent from a unreliable business. No after hours phone is not good for business! - In response to your comment Brent...we showed up first thing in the morning to your business with key in hand! Your staff was apologetic and said that you would not be back to work until after Monday. Your staff did in fact get a hold of us about an hour after we dropped off the key, that morning and apologized to us that we got stranded. They also confirmed that they had the motorcycle. You also stated when you finally got back to us almost a week later, that the motorcycle was started up because you brought the alignment tool with you to the tow yard. Please understand Brent, there was no way we could have gotten any service, you said we could have used the roadside service by using the touch screen?? The motorcycle DID NOT START, so that was not an option! You specifically told us to call you, which we did several times...Your employee, that had the phone that evening did not pick up to help us!! "Call us if something happens and we will help you" - this was the option that you had given before we rode off. read more

3/14/22 Walked in without a prior reservation. It would be my first time riding a cruiser. I asked what would suit me best based on my only experience from a factory cafe racer bike. The staff all agreed the Sportster XL 1200 would be best for me, I couldn't have agreed more once I heard/saw the bike. Really disappointed!! I reserved a Harley Streetglide online in advance for my trip. On my rental date (4/11) I encountered some rain as I was walking to the rental place, I proceeded to call 'chase rentals' and I spoke with an Asian women letting her know that it was raining at the moment and that I would be by to pick up my bike at a later time if it wasn't a problem. My original time to pick up was around 11am, she fully understood that I did not want to pick up a bike in the rain and WE BOTH AGREED that me picking up the bike around 4pm was NO PROBLEM!!! I reassured by asking her if it would be any problem specifically saying "I still want the bike, i'll take it now if I have to but I would rather get it after the rain". She replied with 'no problem'. I then again asked if it was a problem, "I really want the bike DO NOT GIVE AWAY." She replies with " No problem." Fast forward to 4pm I arrive to the the rental place and speak with the same Asian woman who then lets me know that the bike was already reserved for a rental the next day and that I could not take it. ARE YOU SERIOUS?? WHAT BS!!!!! I ask "what about my reservation?" she replied you were supposed to come earlier ...I asked her to recall our phone call from earlier and she responds with "oh i'm sorry about that and i won't charge you a cancellation fee" Is she serious??? I spoke with her on the phone and specifically let her know that I STILL wanted the bike... if I would've known that she was going to double book me or give my bike away I would've came and got it immediately, but she left me under the impression that all was fine. To add on to this situation I was not once offered any type of solution to fix the current problem, no offer on another bike, no recommendations to other rental places, nothing. Bad business practice, why not let me know initially if she could not accommodate my needs? I then ask if I can just move my reservation to another date and she responds with saying that "the bike is booked all week." Thanks a lot for giving my bike away Chase, i've rented from you guys 4 times in the past and have worked with "Jimbo" he was more than happy to accommodate to all my needs. Not to mention the friends that i've referred over. I'll be looking for a new place today...hopefully I find a bike while still in Hawaii. Thanks for nothing. read more
