We had a truly amazing experience with Chase Remodeling, Bob and Derek Chase. Our house was built in 1998 and the master bath and kitchen needed updating. Bob Chase came to my house multiple times to discuss, design, and finalize the plans for both projects. He was very kind and patient with me. The master bath was basically gutted (we removed a large jacuzzi tub and a small shower) and replaced the flooring, the cabinets, mirrors, toilet, and lighting, and designed a large, doorless, walk-in shower. This project took approximately 2 weeks for them to complete once the work was started. The kitchen was completely gutted. We changed all the flooring throughout our entire main level, updated the staircase, removed the wall between our old kitchen and formal dining room, and completely redesigned the flow of the kitchen/dining area. Installed all new cabinets and countertops, lighting, etc. We ordered all high end, custom cabinets, so it did take about 7 months between signing the contracts to the work beginning. Once the work started on the kitchen, flooring, stairs, etc. it took around 3 1/2 months and they worked nearly every day. The prices we agreed upon for both projects never changed. He never asked me for additional money for anything, which is something I was worried about having heard friends complain about that when they completed home projects. The only additional expense we had was because we decided while we had them there to go ahead and paint all the walls throughout the main level and the upstairs foyer (since the kitchen was so nice and new!) the same color we'd selected for the kitchen. Bob and Derek were both awesome to work with. Always polite, always helpful, had great ideas, and were communicative. That's another complaint I hear from friends is that their contractor would come one day and work and then they wouldn't see them for two weeks with no word about what was going on. We knew throughout both projects exactly what was going on and when. Additionally, all of the workers were very nice, super respectful of our home, and the work was impeccable. Very high quality and excellent attention to detail. I'm happy to speak with anyone who has questions about Chase Remodeling and the experience we had with them. I contracted with Chase Remodeling on 3/20/2024 to tile a bathroom floor and shower. I paid a $3,214 deposit and work was to be started in approximately 3-5 weeks and completed in approximately 4-7 days. After attempting several times in April to get someone to contact me about when work could start, six weeks lapsed with week seven commencing on Monday 4/29/2024 and no call or written communication to plan/schedule the tile work. I had to go to Chases place of business and spoke to the owner on Friday morning 4/26/2024 to request the contract to be terminated and have a refund provided. I was told 3 businesses days or less would be needed to make a decision. I received an email on the morning of 4/30/2024 with a picture of a letter and refund check to inform me that the refund was being mailed that day. The letter stated: "We are sorry that Chase Remodeling could not be of service to you and *your family. We have cancelled your contract and returned your deposit. If you should need our services in the future, please do not hesitate to call our offices." I am disappointed in the apathetic response and received no genuine apology or consideration for not meeting the period of performance within a reasonable period of time. We are semi new to the area and saw their truck in our neighborhood and called for a bid for an addition and new kitchen plus a few other things. LET ME TELL YOU!!!! I have NEVER worked with a more responsive dedicated to doing wonderful work then this company. Down to our project manager Bruce to Bob the owner. All their workers... honestly we could not be more happy with what they did and how it turned out!! This was a 6 month project and we lived in our house while it was happening. They did everything they could to make it painless!! Would use them again and again!! We definitely found our company for any work we want done down the road!! As others have said, the project management at Chase Remodeling is awful. I was quoted ~11-15 weeks for a screened porch. It's close to week 40 and they aren't done. The crew hasn't shown up in a week and they can't give me any estimate as to when they'll be done. I mentioned the delay to Bob Chase directly, and his response is "oh, well that's just an estimate." I should have been tipped off by the "magically changing" estimates from Charles, and the ignored calls. Sub par work and even worse customer service. read more

I contracted with this company about five years ago and they did beautiful work. I contacted them a number of months ago for additional work and paid them a hefty deposit. It is now weeks overdue since they were supposed to contact me to coordinate an installation day, and I have heard nothing, I have attempted to reach them a number of times, have heard nothing. They still have 1000s of dollars I already paid them. I would like to think they are well meaning people, and when they do get back in touch with me and get the work done in a meaningful way, I will be happy to update my review with néw facts. Meanwhile, they are well off schedule, they didn't communicate this to me, I'm disappointed, and I'm growing frustrated that I cannot reach anybody there and no one is returning my calls in a meaningful way. read more

I can't begin to tell you how refreshing it is to get top quality product, and excellent customer service. These folks were great in the past--I got a new roof in 2005 and new fachia board on the rear of my home a few years later. Both jobs were excellent with excellent personnel handling these installations. A few weeks ago, a limb punctured my roof and they sent someone out immediately to patch the hole temporarily, as we were expecting a good deal of rain. Today they fixed it for good. We contracted Chase Remodeling to do 3 small projects back in March 2020. Of the 3, only 1 was completed. When working on that 1 project, despite us asking to be called prior to them coming out, they came unannounced and unexpected. Given the Covid situation, we understood the other parts of the project may be somewhat delayed, we were shocked when we received a call from the company in October asking for payment. We had never received a bill because the project wasn't complete. We called and were told they'd be out to take pictures, AGAIN, of the one part we really needed to be done. (We said to forget about the 3rd part). Again, someone came out with only a 15 minute warning (we weren't home). He took pictures and again we waited and waited. No communication until we called weeks later only to be told the person that took the pictures was out of town and would be for a couple of weeks. We finally paid for the 1 part and cancelled the rest of the job. HORRIBLE customer service!! UPDATE: I received a letter of apology for our experience from Bob Chase, owner of Chase Remodeling. He said it was rare and went so far as to give us a partial refund for the work they did. He even offered to come to our home to see the remaining project. Very much appreciated! read more

In addition to the details listed in my first review I should also mention the following: the company has an incredible reputation, the representative who gave me the quote was very helpful and wanted to provide me with quality service. He was friendly and helped to reassure me this project would be completed to my satisfaction. Ridge vents are commonly installed by this company and I get the sense the work will be done with care. I decided to have the ridge vent installed by this company and appreciate how the owner was able to honor the terms discussed over the phone. I look forward to having gutter protectors installed at a later time and hopefully a front door canopy. Looking forward to posting a final update once the first job is completed. read more

Looking for a remodeling company? Look no further. Hire Chase remodeling and insulation company. We have been very satisfied with everything they have done for us. We first hired Chase Insulation to install a whole new roof including 70 sheets of plywood. Being impressed with the adjustor who came out, we decided to have them also replace our gutters and facia soffit. The roofers who were sent out were very professional and immediately got to work. The roof took just 2 days and in watching them work, you could see they were very methodical and detail oriented. The clean up was wonderful and you would never know they were there. Our roof looks wonderful. Second job was the gutters, drains, and soffit. Those workers were also very professional and accommodating. They needed to work around the electric security lights which were attached to the soffit, but no fear, they did an excellent job. After having been so impressed by Chase and team, we decided to go with them to install a new sliding door. We LOVE our door! It is very sturdy, soundproof, and has 7 safety locks!! The workers who came to install the door were also very professional and had it installed in no time. They went beyond in fitting the door with the very old existing frame. There too we could see their attention to detail. They complimented us on our purchase and showed us all the safety features which includes foot locks. One position in the foot lock is very nice. It allows you to open the door maybe 6 inches to allow air flow without opening the entire slider. We can't say enough about how IMPRESSED we are with Chase and team. My old windows were terrible. They leaked cold air in the winter and wasted my air conditioning in the summer. Plus they needed paint often! Insulators came out worked up a proposal with several options on window styles, glass quality and colors. I wanted to increase the value of my home so I choose a beautiful bay window in front and double hung windows with grids. The install went great! Neat clean and efficient team of workers. Great follow up to make sure I was happy. A perfect job and a better price than my other quotes. PS I had them put in French Doors that look 10 times better than my old patio doors! read more
