I first saw Chasing Linen at an event and I immediately knew right away that I would hire them one day for my wedding. That day finally came and without hesitation, I booked Chasing Linen right away. I am so glad I did because Chasing Linen was a HUGE hit at my wedding! It was so nice to see all of the portraits laid out of all my guests. I can't help but smile. It was lovely seeing peoples reactions when they saw their own portraits. The water color artists, Thu and Leslie were super sweet and worked super hard at the station. If you're looking for something unique and special for your guests to take home as a party favor - this is definitely it! Not only did I hear compliments about the water color station during the wedding, but even afterwards! Chasing Linen was the cherry on top of my wedding day. Thank you for making my wedding such a memorable one!

We had an amazing experience working with the Chasing Linen team for our wedding day. We were looking for a unique and memorable experience to offer our guests and this team delivered exactly that and more. They have such a friendly team of talented artists able to capture the beauty and unique details of every guest. The portraits looked AMAZING! Even the process of making the portraits is an event many people recorded, shared, and enjoyed. I feel most party favors are either forgotten about or left behind, but we had so many compliments from our guests about their portraits that they still keep to this day. We have our portrait front and center in our apartment. Hats off to all of their artists. We highly recommend them!

We had an 80-person wedding in November at Greystone Mansion. We hired Chasing Linens because we wanted to keep our guests entertained and wanted something a little different than a photo booth. We were completely blown away at how well received Chasing Linens' work was. EVERYONE LOVED their personalized keepsake. My recommendation is to hired the recommended number of artists. We hired Dianuh and two artists for 3 hours and it was just enough time for 80 people. It's worth every penny.

This review is for Live Art at a wedding! My husband and I were budgeting for our wedding and entertained the idea of a photobooth. But since we already hired a photographer and knew that our guests would take photos on their own, we opted to book Chasing Linen's Live Art instead! I had been following Dianuh's Instagram for a few years, admiring her incredible talent and thoughtful care for each of her brides from afar, never thinking that when we got married, we would be able to book her team! It was so easy to communicate with Dianuh and she was very responsive. She has a client contract (so you know she's legit) and it lays everything out for utmost clarity (who doesn't love clarity?). A month or so before the wedding, I made a last minute request to submit a custom template (you can opt for her design too) and she was so sweet and helpful! We had around 220 guests at our wedding, so Dianuh suggested 2 artists to cater to our large party. We booked them for cocktail hour until the end of the night and guys...these ladies HUSTLED all night. Our friends and family were so excited to get their portraits done! And they make it so smooth for our guests: an assistant will take a photo, and then they can go back to enjoying the rest of the wedding while the artists work their magic, then they can pick up the finished portrait at the end of the night! Their signature style is faceless, but with SO much detail (glasses, jewelry, facial hair, fabric texture, etc). My only quibble is that they are too generous in painting people taller/skinnier/more attractive than in real life HAHA but gotta trust the artist's depiction. The pricing is incredibly reasonable for how memorable and special the service is! Our guests showed off their portraits on social media and even hang them up in their home! BOOK THEM FOR YOUR WEDDING, BIRTHDAY PARTY, SPECIAL EVENT... We are so so thrilled with our experience!! Thanks Chasing Linen!!

GUYYYYY Dianuh is the BEST! I saw her at a birthday this weekend, and she literally does watercolor portraits LIVE! Live, I mean, right. I'm. Front. Of. Your face. They snap a photo of you, and later, BAM there you are! Her whole set up is beautiful and perfect for any event! From weddings to children's birthday party, she's definitely making way for a new modern keepsake! She was with her lovely team and they really went to work! It was so nice seeing the table full of watercolor portraits. Such a whimsical touch to an event! I checked out her IG and she does a lot of portraits for weddings and invites! Definitely a woman of many talents! I highly recommend her to any future brides or individuals who love throwing parties! Can't wait until I can have her at my own wedding! Eek!

    Such a great investment piece!

I don't usually write reviews, but Chasing Linens won me over. I found CL through their Instagram feed and immediately fell in love with Dianuh's beautiful and intricate calligraphy. So, I had no hesitation in deciding to contact her to help design a piece for an upcoming graduation banquet. During the whole design/planning process, Dianuh quickly responded to every question or concern I had, making sure that we both understood each other and that my vision would be executed perfectly. The design process took a little less than a week and she let me know right away when the linen was shipped AND even checked up on me just to make sure I was satisfied with the end result! So awesome of her :) The linen itself was beautiful. She did exactly what I asked her to, and I was incredibly happy with how it turned out. It was fantastic for photo-ops, decor purposes, and hipster/rustic vibes. During the event, I got so many compliments on the banner and I knew, without a doubt, that I had made the right choice. Dianuh is such a sweetheart (even though we've never met in person). You can really tell that she loves her job, her clients, and seeing her clients being blessed through her work.

Chasing linen is amazing and I am soooo glad we had her for my best friend's bridal shower. I booked chasing linen via their website and paid everything online. As the event got closer, they emailed event details and provided a contact number. The entire process pretty much happened all via email, which was nice and convenient. You just fill out the inquiry page with event time and day and specify how many hours you'd like for the artist to be there. We were blessed with Becky and Lauryn on the day of our event. The process was painless and our guests absolutely loved the live portraits. It was definitely a lovely touch for the bridal shower. Lauryn, our artist, was as sweet as can be and just so nice. Becky, the assistant, made sure that everyone's photos were taken so that Lauryn could paint them. She, too, was incredibly lovely. We weren't sure how it would be with them, as I am used to seeing dianuh as the face of chasing linen. We loved them both so much and will be requesting them specifically for our next epic event. Thanks again, ladies!! If you are looking for something unique and modern for your event, chasing linen is definitely the way to go. Check out their work on Instagram!

There aren't many places like this in the area, so it's a fun and creative spot to check out. I found them on Instagram and decided to go with some friends. I've been to two craft studios that are similar, so my review is based on experiences from other places. The booking process was super easy--you reserve online with a $10 nonrefundable deposit, which goes toward the final cost of your craft. When we went at 3 PM on a Friday, we were the only group there, so we had the whole space to ourselves. Free street parking was available right in front of the store, which was a plus! Just a heads-up, it's located in an older part of Long Beach, so keep that in mind. The studio itself is absolutely adorable - very girly and charming. It's a smaller space but seems like it could accommodate a few larger groups at a time, so if you're planning to go with a big party, I'd recommend inquiring ahead of time. One thing I really appreciated is that there's no per-person studio fee. The craft prices ranged from around $15-$45, which is similar to other craft studios I've been to. You can decorate a variety of items like jewelry boxes, mirrors, photo frames, claw clips, phone cases, and glass cups. There was a nice selection of beads, charms, glitter, and other craft supplies. Their website and Instagram list monthly specials, and this month's Hello Kitty and Sonny Angel-inspired phone buddies were adorable. The owner was incredibly sweet, and you can tell she puts a lot of love into her business. She originally started Dainty Disco as a gift shop, so there's still a small retail section with cute merchandise available for purchase. A couple of minor things could be improved. The lighting inside the studio wasn't the best--it was a cloudy day, which didn't help, but some additional overhead lighting would have been useful for crafting. Also, a few craft options were sold out; for example, they were out of the larger heart jewelry boxes and only had one smaller one left. I think a section on the website that lists the options for crafts with pictures would have been helpful in guiding customers ahead of time for their choices. Overall, we had a great time, and it was nice to support a small business! They also host monthly craft meet-ups, which I'd love to check out in the future. If you're looking for a fun and creative activity in Long Beach, I definitely recommend giving Dainty Disco a visit and I'm down to come back!

Recently, I redeemed my birthday reward for a free bundt cake and chose the Chocolate Dubai flavor.
