All in all everything went well. Dr. Jeanne is an excellent VET. My sis in law introduced us and that's all it took, I knew instantly I liked her, but the real test came when she came for her first visit, to see Callie, and Lucy for their yearly check up and vaccinations. Callie was easy she loved everyone, Lucy was the test of acceptance she's disliked the vet after her first office visit. We literally had to carry/drag her into the building, then she would hide behind the furnishings, it was so heartbreaking. We changed vets, no go. We asked Dr.J, if she would give us a try, Lucy was a little afraid, but each time she's shown improvement. I believe that's been about 6+ years ago. We really like Dr.J, and her staff. She's given us excellent care, and is compassionate beyond measure. Trouble is she needs a clone, I hear she's not accepting new pts right now, all I can say is keep trying! There is nothing like having a caring, knowledgeable vet come right to your front door! We adopted neighborhood cat who was set in his ways. After (likely) never having been to a vet before, we thought he was going to have a heart attack. It was extremely upsetting. Chasing Tails & Dr. Jeanie saved us from that!! If you love your pets please call other veterinarian! She worked in a farm and you can tell that she's only used to work with bulls and cows because she is not sweet at all with cats or dogs! It is obvious that they do this job only for the money, they really do not care about animals! She forced my cat and hurt him to take his weight, he was extremely scared the poor thing and she said it was the law and she had to do it. My cat was crying and she and her sister kept forcing him! I was with a friend and she was scared to see how they treated my cats, that was a horrible experience. Unfortunately I had to call them today only because it was an emergency and the other veterinarians were too busy. My other cat wasn't breathing well so she needed an injection. I asked her to please be very careful this time and she got upset and left ! She yelled at me "call another veterinarian!" . The cat was having issues to breath in front of them and they left ! I had a very negative experience with Dr. Jeanie Presley and would not recommend using her for horses. She did a vet check on my horse. She kept trying to create an adversarial interaction between the buyer and myself which was so unnecessary. The buyer was lovely and neither of us appreciated Dr. Presler's behavior. For instance she asked how old my horse was and I said 9. Dr.Presler in a mean way said "it's a good thing you did not say 2 because .." Why in the world would I lie about my horse's age? read more
