I will not bring my dog back here. The invoice stated my terrier mutt weighed in at 45lbs when she has never weighed more than 36lbs in her life and recently weighed in at 27.4lbs at the vet. When I brought this up the groomer said they have been having issues with the scale but didn't confirm that it was fixed. She mentioned someone else had brought this up as well. She would not budge or honor the price. It is very disappointing that they rate their prices on weight when the scale is clearly broken. read more

I REALLY wanted to love Chassy's Classy Canines. The first time we booked here, we had a 1pm appt. The groomer kept us informed as it hit 430, then 5, then 6 stating that they were still working on the dogs. The groomer closed at 6pm and we finally got our dogs at 630. They looked fantastic, but that length of time was ridiculous. Regardless, we decided to give them another chance. On our second visit, we had a 10am appt for our two dogs. I received a text that I never saw at 10:09 asking our arrival status and my husband arrived at 10:11. The groomer (Jordan) met my husband with extreme hostility for being late, stating she was going to charge us the full $230 and not take any of our dogs. My husband is not one who gets worked up easily and he said this was the rudest he's ever been treated. He asked for a manager and was met with more hostility. They finally ended up taking one of our dogs, charging a late fee (fine, that makes sense), and not taking the other. I get the late fee, but being rude and destroying a relationship with a client who would have come back every 8 weeks is CRAZY and why we will not return. I even called at around 4:45pm that same day to try to speak to a manager to give the feedback and reschedule for the other dog to give them one more chance, yet two times my call got picked up and then hung up, leading me to assume that Jordan saw the phone number and was screening my calls. I got in on the third time, left a message asking for a manager to call me and it's now been 5 days with no reach out. They do a good job, but not worth the two massive headaches they've given us without any manager intervention. read more

I took my dogs in to be groomed yesterday. The cut off the tips of my dogs penis and didnt bother to tell me. They had to have covered it with something to make the bleeding stop. I woke up to a blood bath this morning. The vet confirmed it was from grooming yesterday. When I contacted Chassy about this, she said they pulled the footage and didn't see any blood on her white tile as we were leaving. Of course they didn't, they stopped the bleeding. Chassy offered to pay my vet bills and nothing else. SO I paid $85 to get my dog's penis clipped off at the tip. My dog is maimed for life, bedding ruined. I don't care about anything except the way my dog and I were treated. She is not someone you want to leave your beloved pet with. She's cruel, catty and not a good businessman. I wanted to share my feedback and experience with this business. I had been a loyal customer of this groomer for more than 4 years, and the owner flipped like a switch when I provided her with some feedback that my vet mentioned about their grooming. After I paid for the service and left, I received a text from the owner to go find someone else. Then started to receive automated cancellations of future appointments. This is all with no prior communication. I responded in confusion on where this was coming from and even called left voicemail to chat and the owner never responded. She put us in a bad position and since then I have found someone else. Which is the silver lining to all of this. People do you research there are so many excellent groomers out there. Summary of what I experienced overall so you can make your own judgement. This isn't how you should treat customers and run a business. Lack of Professionalism: Appointments were sometimes rescheduled at the last minute, and rather than a courtesy call or a personal message, I would receive impersonal automated texts. There was no regard for my time or schedule, which made planning extremely difficult. Delays: Frequently appointments ran later then stated time, once they never notified me that the pups were ready so I had to call and they said they have been ready for a long time now and brushed it off as no big deal. Poor Communication: While the owner was away from the business (months) there were so many problems with lack of communication on completion times, rescheduling and inconsistent pricing. Whenever I tried to give polite, constructive feedback about my pet's grooming or scheduling issues, it was dismissed. They changed their policy regarding weight and pricing and when I let them know what they marked as the weight of one dog was not accurate she gave attitude about it. The last interaction with the owner was incredibly unprofessional and hurtful being a long-standing customer. Inconsistent Pricing: There was no consistency with fees you found out the price after the service. Prices fluctuated from appointment to appointment with no explanation. Final Thoughts: It's disappointing to see a service provider show so little respect for client loyalty and feedback and exhibit such behavior. I would not recommend this groomer to anyone seeking reliable, respectful, communicative, and professional care for their pet. You deserve better. ....Since I am not able to reply to your comment I am adding it here. I think you need to reflect on how you receive feedback. Gave two starts for being able to book online, and location. Booked an online appointment for our new pup. When he was brought in we were told they could not complete the service because his coat was too matted and they didn't have time for that. So then another lady comes in and says, oh not it's fine we can get him in. Well the outcome was an incomplete job and we were very unsatisfied with his grooming. They did recommend bringing him back in two weeks for another groom, which what was the point of this appointment if that was the case? He still had matted fur around his legs, on his tummy, and the cut on his tummy was completely uneven. One side was completely shaved while the other still had a bunch of hair. It's is very off putting to tell a customer you cannot complete the service then go back and say yes you can, then do a less than mediocre job. Either upgrade the service for what is needed for the pup or just cancel the appointment. I would not recommend going with the $50 new puppy appointment if you are expecting you are expecting complete grooming service. We are now scheduling a mobile groomer appointment with a different company exactly two weeks later, for $75. It this was their "show dog" package with a 40%off new pup coupon. read more

Took my puppy for her first grooming here! First thing I noticed was another dog that was extremely excited to be there and greet his groomer. The groomer and receptionist were very kind and welcoming. Groomer let me know that today would be an introductory groom, which means no full haircut, working at my puppies pace and keeping her comfortable. Very happy that they care so much about their pups to enforce this rule. Grooming was about an hour give or take, no complaints, groomer was very informative and honest about how my puppy did and what we need to work on. I look forward to bringing my pup back. Having a doodle can be really challenging with grooming and our dog Hank loves coming here. He's always so excited when he arrives and is ready to run into the back to get pampered. Every groomer we'd go to in the past would just shave him even if he only had one small knotted spot, but they really take the time to work through any trouble areas. Very disappointed. We have a golden doodle who is a year old. We brought her in a few times and one time we waited to long and her coat was long and matted so they had to shave her down. No big deal that was on us for not grooming enough. But we leaned our lesson and never wanted to shave her again. Well now we finally got her hair grown back a little longer and we have been good about brushing her. I brushed her all out a week ago and her coat brushed out great and it was not matted at all. This last time we took her in, we specifically asked that they give her a cut but keep it on the longer side. And they said they should be able to. But we went to pick her up and they SHAVED HER! They said she was way to matted. We then talked to the owner to ask about it and wonder why they needed to shave her and she was very rude back to us. She said she doesn't have time to pick out every little knot and that she couldn't even run a comb through it. We spent $80 and got a shaved dog. They did not need to shave her. And they didn't even call us. If they would have said they were going to shave her I would have taken the dog back home and combed her out myself (like I did the week prior) I can understand if our dog is really matted and they have to shave her but they don't have to be so rude about it. And they can give us a phone call first to tell us that they were wrong and can't leave it long. Bottom line... We will never come back here read more

I don't even want to leave one star. The customer service is lacking at Chassy's. I dropped my doodle off at 10:00AM and received a message that she was ready at 11. When I picked her up the had completely shaved her and said she was "matted." When I called to complain they manager and the owner wouldn't listen to my complaints and basically called me a liar. The owner stated, "it takes time to comb out matts." Well when you just shave all the hair off that is lazy and then you charge for a matting fee. Chassy's Classy Canine has lost one of their regulars. I'm sure she'll respond and say that we're bad pet owners for wanting an unrealistic look on our dog (just longer than what Chassy prefers for doodles to look like and whats easier for her groomers) and that our dog was sOoO matted, to try and protect her business but the reality of the situation is FAR from that. We've been taking our dog here consistently since she was a puppy, every 2-4 weeks. I considered going to a different groomer because once she came back all scratched up. She had a scabs on her for months. I wrote them about this issue and Chassy said that the groomer used a coat rake on her, which is a tool to brush through double coated dogs. Juniper has never needed any deshedding.. ever..so she was confused by why this was used and ultimately apologized so I was willing to give them another chance, which was a mistake. We decided we wanted to see what Juniper's hair would look like grown and didn't think we were asking much... We were told no problem! They would get her on a 2 week schedule to maintain the coat! Later down the road, Chastain recommends that the length she is at should be as long as she should go & we should trim her every other time we come. No problem, we understood her coat was not to be grown out any longer than it was. Here's where the issues started happening. Chassy decided to take our dog as a client for this day & cut her a lot shorter...She said it was half & inch shorter than what she recommended and said her coat is in great condition! (Later lies & tells us she cut her that short because she was matted...weird how that wasn't expressed originally..) My husband didn't like how short she was cut this time so he expressed that to Chassy. The next two times she comes, she didn't get a cut but we always said, whatever she needs! Fast forward, I get a call that our dog is getting a shorter cut. I was genuinely shocked but I'm also willing to take our groomer's advice. I shouldn't have. She was shaved. I went through her coat right before she came so this did take me back. When we get there to pick her up, our groomer was chatting with me, when Chassy runs out and is quick to blame us, saying "she told us this would have to happen!"....as if our dog had been a huge problem! She was quick to attack me. Chassy said, she had to be involved the last 3 months because all she hears is how bad our dog is matted, which is a complete shock to us! Every time we would pick her up, the report was always, "She's was good!! A few spots we had to brush out, no big deal!" NEVER was it brought up to us that she had bad matting & if she did, why was there never a matting fee charged? Why was it not discussed that this wasn't working for them? Chassy made it sound like our dog was such a problem & so matted. This is a dog that is at the groomers every other week! Why weren't we told this!? You would have thought that she hasn't seen the groomer in 6 months the way Chassy described her! Personally, I believe that they want to do things their way & only their way. It's ironic that as soon as the heat hits, I believe she made the executive decision to give her a "summer cut." They like the generic, "doodle" cut, which is pretty short. I wouldn't recommend coming here if you want any different than that. I understand a long haired sheepadoodle isn't an easy task but we were willing to pay for her to maintain the length she had as long as it wasn't causing our dog any problems. Our groomer did apologize and I don't blame her for the leadership she is under. Lastly, if you don't want your dog at the groomers for hours on end, don't come here. You never know if you're going to be able to see your dog in an hour, 2 hours or 6 hours. I have a few friends who have an issue with this as well. Chassy was rude & reading the comments, other people have felt this from her as well. With all the issues we've had and now seeing the true colors of the business owner, I wouldn't recommend going here. read more

Don't waste your money here. Unless you want them coming out looking like a deer. They said they should be able to keep her long and didn't bother to call me and tell me they were shaving her bald. The owner (who couldn't of been more rude) said she didn't have time to pick through her. That's fine- but they could atleast of called me and let me know.
