Growing up in Rochester meant Christmas at midtown plaza, Santa's mountain, monorail and the clock of nations. This three tiered clock with twelve rotating cylinders and animated puppets showcasing different cultures was created for the opening of midtown back in 1962. Moved to the airport for awhile before going on to storage. Thankfully it's back in the public eye!! It's public accessible and running continual y from 7am to 7pm. They did such a great job restoring this iconic mechanical clock, great formed photos and posters of the history of the clock and midtown.

Then here's your place. If not, look else where.

But people who have got their leases renewed. I do not recommend renting from this landlord/management. and in the lease it states about the noise having to be stopped by 10:00pm. And you have the right to live in a peaceful environment. Apparently we did not have that right as the landlord/management does not do anything about it. Also the manager does not return your phone calls either once you are in the place.

I have never had any trouble getting anything fixed. They have always come the same day I call, or the next day if they were real busy. The apartments look nice, and are kept up. The prices are really affordable. The only down side I have to Cedars is the people who live here. As with anywhere you live, you will have some people who just make trouble for everyone else. That is the case at Cedars, but it really isn't all that bad if you keep to yourself and pay your rent on time. I think The Cedars Of Chili is a great place to live.

The laundry facilities are only open Monday thru Friday from 8:30 to 4:30pm, so if you get off work at 5pm and want to wash you are out of luck and have to go to the laundromat. Even if you wanted to do laundry on the weekend you would have to go to the laundromat. You cant grill on your patio so if you ever wanted to eat bbq in the summer you have to find somewhere else to grill it. Sucks for someone who pays 1000+ dollars in rent but cant grill on a PATIO! I thought that's what most normal people use a patio for. Too many rules for the amount of money they charge. I've been here 3 years and ever since new management took over my love for this place has gone down. I am currently looking for a new place to live and do not look forward to renewing my lease.

But since my roommate is staying in the apartment, they refuse to let me off the lease (because my roommate cannot afford the rent) so I will be liable for back payments. So wouldn't you think they should tell my roommate they need to move out? Nope. They claim he could stay in the apartment 5+ years and my name will still be on the lease! I have never heard of such a thing.. I took all the right steps to be a successful transfer, but now I need to find legal help. They also prefer cash or money order which is weird, and have no email to contact them in writing. Something seem fishy about that?

The management will do nothing about anything. They know they can get away with whatever they want so they do. I love my apartment, the basement and the garage. The rest of the neighbors are great. All it takes is one bad apple. In that neighbors case, the entire tree is rotten. These people are disgusting and filthy, not picking up their dogs poop. They brought huge rats with them so now I gave to deal with that.

There is an outdoor grand fireplace on the facility's stone patio that burns brilliantly most of the time and can be seen through the restaurant. A stylish lounge abutts the restaurant where guests and residents can enjoy each other's company. Other luxuries such as steam room, gym, yoga, hair salon, gift shop, massages and more are also included for residents and available to the public for a fee. Also, within the numerous conversations I have had with them, I can say that they're just overall great people. Because of these things, I am planning on staying here for as long as they'll have me. I also want to say that the maintenance team (Lester, Scott, Gary) have been extremely accommodating and professional when they come to fix any issues, which I am very appreciative for. The only downfall I have is not having assigned parking, had to call and complain about not having a spot. Staff always takes care of it. Also I miss the old maintenance staff, new guy has hit the mailbox and trash room with the snow plow and doesn't seem to care. He's not very professional, he needs to move on!
