It was not the dark haired woman who does the online live sales events (that I now seeing the store does) but another woman with sandy colored hair. I decided to totally ignore her and found what I liked and brought my items to the counter to buy from the dark haired woman. My friend was going to buy several pieces at a substantial $ amount, but after this employee kept being snappy and extremely rude to her, the friend said she wouldn't buy anything even if given to her for a penny. I have had a retail store for 20 years and would have fired this woman immediately had the store been mine! Seriously, we could not believe how awful this woman acted. Asked at the counter when I was buying my bracelet if she, the dark short-haired woman, was the boss and she said no, as I was gonna speak with her about the actions of her co-worker, and let her know they need to get rid of that employee ASAP, as they are losing good sales business daily with this employee. It was a reasonable $22. They have several reasonable priced items from earrings to necklaces. The women behind the counter mentioned that they have several artisans behind the items in the shop too. I like to think they get a fair deal for their work. Every time I've visited the store in the past, I was warmly welcomed and the salespeople went above and beyond. This year was a completely different experience. I visited the store and waited to be helped. One salesperson was sitting on the computer, two other salespeople were helping other customers check out. The owner's husband was working on unboxing items or wrapping items. Continue to wait and struck up a conversation with another customer waiting. We talked and a couple walked in. Immediately a salesperson comes out and begins helping them. Maybe they had an appointment? After ten minutes, another salesperson acknowledges me. She shows me a few pieces of jewelry. I was interested in one piece since the collection was being retired. I asked to place the item on hold. Normally, the salesperson will write down your name and contact info. I'm in the system so I know this is part of their process. This particular salesperson did none of that. I quickly realized she wasn't interested in making the sale or getting my info to hold the piece. Walked out and didn't return to make my purchase. So disappointed in this year's shopping experience. It's too bad they missed the mark this year because they usually are known to go above and beyond. Plus the owner always makes sure to stock a large inventory of hard to find Yurman pieces.
