They're more of a thinner smash burger than a steakhouse burger. It hit the spot. The French fries were crispy and well seasoned. I was very excited for the Nashville hot chicken tenders but they were wayyyy too hot for me. They were very crispy but way too spicy for me to eat more than a bite or two. Overall we would return!

That's how we landed here at Mom & Pops and they were open for lunch! Checked out the menu beforehand and saw they had a pork burger, whenever I can try a burger that isn't beef based, I'm down for it! We ordered the lumpia (bc why not), the Pinoy (pork) burger, naked fries (don't worry folks, it's PG) along with the fish sandwich. We enjoyed everything but I didn't love the pork burger - there was something in the flavor that I didn't care for but it was juicy and came with a fresh papaya slaw. If I could've done it over again, I would've gotten the fish sandwich - wow that fish was cooked to perfection, super tasty and flaky. The mister ordered it so I was only able to snag a bite or two. Ordering was super quick and easy - walk up to the counter, place your order, you're handed a buzzer and go find a seat. Wait the buzzing and food is ready! Fountain drinks are self serve. The food came out pretty quickly and was piping hot! Decent amount of seating with colorful art adorning the walls. While there, they had a revolving door of takeout orders, good for them! Great little spot for a quick bite!

Highest of recommendations!…read more Right in Route 28 as you head into Chatman Shopping District. Plenty of parking and open year round. Like the old Caswell's in Marshfield, you buy at a counter, they give you a number, and you sit on down as food is brought to you. The inside of Mac's is very clean and spacious, and has about twenty tables. There is seating outside - seasonal and today is January, with snow... so we stayed inside. Started off with the Mac's Clam Chowder which was a lovely milk broth - just as good as the chowder at the Clark Cooke House in Newport, Rhode Island! Homemade, flavorful and not jammed with excessive potatoes or onion; the clams were cooked well. I had the fish soup, looked almost like Portuguese Kale, but was very delicious, had a bit of heat to it, the fish was downright incredible; the carrots, celery, and onions were cooked to perfection. We usually get some raw bar, and they have a nice selection of little necks, cherry stones, and oysters, but today for us it was a pound and half of steamed clams. Plump, clean, and sand free. Just as good as those at Mattakeese Wharf Restaurant. Lobster... I asked for a two pounder, and got a 2.5 pounder. Fresh, delicious, succulent, and sweet. Wonderful and hard working staff. No negatives whatsoever.

Main Street was nuts, insane, busy, etc. with the holiday, vacationers, visitors, soccer fans for FIFA, etc. It's the Cape! Very nice place... looks like it could have been a church, VFW Hall, or something or another. Found out it was actually a clothier back in the day, and the stained glass and pews were rescues from a church up in Maine. Nice decor, comfortable. Both lunch and dinner menu served in the early afternoon. High volume, but a few empty tables on a long holiday weekend - Friday. A little off of the beaten path, by that I mean it is not directly on Main Street, but located on Chatham Bars Avenue and down the short street a hundred feet or so and on your left. Cold, bottled San Pellegrino with lime and lemon. Started with the raw bar, well worth the short wait! 18 fat, cold, and briney oysters that were shucked to perfection. The Shrimp Cocktail was great too. She had the Floey's Tuna Sandwich, along with the pasta salad; the tuna had capers mixed in which was a very nice touch! I had the broiled scallops and asparagus; an incredible butter/lemon sauce. Both done exceptionally well. Clean facility, plenty of room, and a wicked nice staff too! Truly, a hidden gem and a must visit! No negatives whatsoever!

The oysters were delightfully sweet and buttery. The little necks here do not compare at all to common west coast clams. They pack such a good flavor we enjoyed every bite. The seafood paired very well with a glass of Sancerre. As for the service, even though it was lunch time, we did wait about 15 minutes to order. We didn't receive any top ups of water or were checked in on much. We had to flag our waitress down to get some condiments before we dug in. The seats were packed a little tight to each other but for quality seafood, we'd do it again.
