Jenn makes sure to give you all the options( fries? Broiled? Etc etc) when taking your order. Take your time and read the menu. The portions are a good size and , as I said, Jenn will be your menu guide. My entire art class visits when we take a lunch break from the Creative Arts Center - the lobster rolls can't be beat! Children are always welcome and given a chance to display their art work. You can bring your dog , but you must dine at a picnic table, off the patio area. The patio is a surrounded by hydrangeas and makes for a comfortable and pretty setting. A short walk from the Main St. Rotary., at Depot Rd and Old Harbor Road. A good place to eat before a ballgame. Slightly off the beaten path, but so worth it. We got the Fish + Chips and the Lobster Roll. Everything--the haddock fish, fries, and onion rings--were crisped to perfection. My friends and I were in the Cape Cod area for Fourth of July weekend and decided to make a stop to Chatham before the fireworks. Found this spot on yelp it had really good ratings so we decided to make a stop. The menu was straightforward. You order at the register and servers will bring it out to your table when it's ready. There were a lot of patio seating that majority of people were at, but there was also seating indoors where it was air-conditioned. The staff was very helpful and patient, even when we changed our mind a few times / kept adding items to our order. We also got lucky ordering the last Caesar salad and pickles of the day! For our group of 5, we ordered clam chowder, 2 lobster rolls, and a fried seafood combo. All of the seafood tasted so fresh! The clam chowder was the best clam chowder that we have had all week. The consistency and flavor was just right! The lobster roll was probably the best lobster roll I've had ever. Not the swankiest place but great for some good food! Def would recommend! The food was just sub par, definitely considering the price, The lobster roll was tiny, and didn't taste like anything. The fried fish was probably the best, but average at best. Wow what a gem of a spot. Stopped by for a quick dinner on a weeknight with my family. What the restaurant lacks in ambiance it more than makes up for in quality of food. We ordered the fish and chips and a salmon platter. The fish and chips were so crispy, perfectly battered and crunchy, and best of all not greasy or heavy. They might possibly have been the best fish and chips I've ever eaten. And the onion rings that come with it are delicious too. My wife loved the salmon as well. The service was great too - smiles and friendly attitudes all around. It really felt like an incredible homecooked meal, but even tastier than mom used to make. Okay.....YES!! Arrived in Chatham yesterday with two other adults and a child and we were starving from the wicked long car ride we'd just endured. Someone from our party suggested fish and chips so I hopped on Yelp and looked. Why not choose a place CALLED Chatham Fish and Chips?! With 4.5/5 stars collectively as their rating we gave it a go. Pulling into the parking lot we almost questioned whether the establishment was open or not, as it was all but empty with one other car in the lot. Realizing it was open we headed inside. The inside was nothing to write home about, though the children's coloring pages lining every inch of the wall was cute. Kind of. Anyways! We ordered a kid's hot dog meal, kid's fish and chips meal, and two fish sandwiches. I had one of the fish sandwiches and holy cow. It was delicious. Ate every single crumb!! The fish was cooked beautifully, a perfect white inside. The veggies on the sandwich (lettuce, tomato, onion) were a great crunchy contrast to the fish. It came with some tartar sauce and coleslaw which was also good! If this wasn't my first time in Chatham and having the want to try the other restaurants here while I can, I'd definitely be back! We loved our delicious fried clam and haddock dinners last night. We started out with the thick and creamy clam chowder which was loaded with clams onions and potatoes. No bacon and no dried herbs! The portions here are large, the fried food is crisp and light without the heaviness one sometimes finds with fried fish. The onion rings were lightly batter fried too!
