It took forever to find someone that would do the procedure to remove the bb on a minor. Dr. Jamison was wonderful in our initial visit and when we came back for the procedure to remove it, my son was terrified (he get super nervous with shots). Well today he literally refused to let them remove it and was freaking out crying. I've dealt with blood pressure concerns for several years, and while my specialist considered my readings acceptable, my nephrologist had a different perspective. What truly surprised me was when my nephrologist office reached out directly to my specialist to collaborate on my care. I've never been aware of my physicians communicating so proactively to address a medical issue, and it has made a meaningful difference. He was the only physician to identify an additional, clinically significant cervical pathology that warranted further diagnostic evaluation.
