I'm so glad we came here! We got one of each: Vietnamese special bahn mi, pho, and a boba milk tea. They were all so delicious that writing this review makes me want another meal. If you like bubble tea or smoothies, go here for sure. They have even more choices than what they picture on the wall! The next time I go, I'm going to get a fresh spring roll too, they looked yummy. So I've come here 2x already and each time, everyone of the employees here have been super friendly and always had smiles on their faces! First time I came only got boba and spring rolls. This time I got the BBQ pork sandwich, spring rolls & a boba tea. Everything was soo good! The pork sandwich was seasoned really well, the bread was buttered and toasted (and maybe had some garlic on it?) it was really filling and had a nice little spice to it! Between the cute little location convieniently close to the oriental shop in the same parking lot and the wonderful and friendly service they provide makes it a complete win for me. I have to review this place again before I move. Chau's Cafe hands down has the best boba drinks in the area and the best phó. This is my go to place for phó my daughter's and I are always happy girls after we get our phó fix. My husband is a huge fan of the passion fruit drink and the Vietnamese coffee, I really like their honeydew and thai tea boba. Chau's also sells springs rolls, which are delicious! I will be sad to leave this place behind and I wish Mr. Chau the best in luck, don't be afraid to try this hole in the wall café, you won't be disappointed. read more

Went in after my workout to get some rare steak pho and a Thai tea to go. was greeted as soon as I walked which I always appreciate. The wait wasn't long and I thoroughly enjoyed my Thai tea while waiting. The broth for my pho was delicious! It wasn't oily or overloaded with star anise like some places and the hoisin to siracha ratio was perfect and I'm used to being cheated on the siracha when it comes already mixed like that. My steak was also still cold when I got home, I hate it when it's room temperature I'm always afraid to eat it since it starts out raw. read more

I just moved moved here and we happened to be grocery shopping at O Mart so we decided to come here because of the convenience and because of the high rating but we were all sadly disappointed. We all got banh mi (sandwich) and we all instantly said it tasted frozen and not fresh and dry. Definitely would never come back and would not recommend. read more

Its been 8 months since my last experience here. Today was a much better but I'm still not impressed since transfer of ownership. The girl behind the counter was nice and very punctual to get our orders correct. It was me and a friend who decided to dine in today. We both ordered identical orders Beef Pho, Sandwich and a drink. The drink came out promptly and was very good. The sandwich was shortly after, first thing I noticed was the bread was not the same as before not sure if they changed the type of roll or just ran out and was running something different either way just something I noticed and the vegetables on the sandwich seemed old or just poorly stored as it looked really wilted etc. My slice of jalapeno was very soft and squishy, I ended up removing it prior to eating the sandwich. The taste itself was what I expected not bad at all and the carrots and daikon still had the crunch I was looking for. We were the only people inside when order and it took almost a full 20 minutes for the orders to come out, a little longer then I expected for pho but this is just an observation. When the pho came I tasted the broth and my overall judgement was "meh" it was a little bit salty and it seems they added more cinnamon to this batch of the broth, not undesirable but just very heavy. I feel like it was missing onion or clove, I couldn't pinpoint the element missing. The gentleman who brought up us the pho was a very jolly guy and he ensured we had everything we needed. Now the down side. The plate of bean sprouts, lime and cilantro was pretty bad, actually it looked really bad, when I asked for basil on the side that was the best looking thing I had seen here that was green. After the jolly guy deliverd the pho, no one really checked on us and we left without hearing or seeing anyone really. I used to come here because it had a good and friendly vibe and Chau himself was a jolly ,friendly and talkative guy. I feel this place is purely business now and has lost that element. As for my "final" judgement if I am to rate this place on what I consider a fair and non bias opinion (me missing the old owner etc) I am rating it a 3 and let me try to explain why. The 1 star I'm taking away for the freshness/display of food when presenting. The 2nd star for just experience in general. While I felt my order was taken properly the girl behind the counter was emotionless, the jolly guy who delivered the pho was the only good customer experience I really had beyond that when it comes to a good dine in experience. read more

Favorite boba place in Texas. I always order the Taro flavor since its my fave & it has the real taro flavor taste to it. Their boba are also very nice & chewy unlike other places that serves their boba really hard & tough. They also have a good variety of viet subs that my husband always love to eat. Always worth the drive to Killeen. Only reason why its not a five star is because you need to spend at least $10 worth when using your card, & sometimes I just want to buy the boba drinks. Finally try their Pho, very tasty! The broth is good and I love the fresh veggies they serve with it. I come here at least once a week!

Grilled chicken sandwich. Very interesting, it had cucumbers, cilantro and chopped grilled chicken on a toasted roll. I also tried the Thai Boba tea, scrumptious! I came to visit from out of town and came across this spot on yelp. Their smoothies have a really weird after taste. The strawberry banana smoothie Tastes powdery. After just a few sips I had to throw it away. For its quality it is way over priced. The service was so-so. The person who took my order was not friendly what so ever. I love how they have a lot of different flavors to choose from their boba drinks and smoothies. I got the boba milk tea, and I can say that it was really good! I also tried their Pho noodle, I got the combination with beef and meat balls. Okay, so in their menu they only have the beef pho, but since I always order combination from other places, I asked if they do any combination pho and the guy told me that he can make it, which was awesome!! The broth of the pho is delicious. However, the portion is small and has very little meat. I don't suggest you go here if you have a big appetite. The meat ball tasted as if it may have been left out and gone bad. The boba was a little soggy and overcooked. Overall, I'd probably go back for the broth or give the sandwiches a try. read more

I used to come here often. However recently they changed their minimum credit card amount to $10. Previously they had a minimum credit card amount of $3.50. With this change they have eliminated single smoothie orders and most other orders that an individual would typically get. This is rather disappointing as if you just want a smoothie, you have to get at least 2. I wish they hadn't made this change as they used to be the best spot to get a decent Bubble Tea in the area. Unfortunately I will not be able to come back here unless I have cash in hand. For most people that use credit cards and debit cards this suddenly eliminates a lot of potential business, especially for a small store that could benefit from smaller single transaction orders. Time to find a new spot 4 bubble teas. read more
