Came here for dinner on a Sunday evening to celebrate two birthdays…read more I made a reservation for a party of 7, but our table wasn't ready when we arrived, and we were seated next to another large group. I noticed two other large tables marked as reserved, so I was unsure why our table wasn't ready. That was a little disappointing. We ordered waters, drinks, appetizers, and mains. Unfortunately, it took a long time for both the drinks and food to come out, especially since there were only four other tables occupied in the restaurant. We started with the Paneer Momo (kothey style), Mutton Momo (kothey style), Aloo Chicken Roll, and Kah-Tahr Poleko (grilled jackfruit). I wish there was an explanation of each momo style on the menu, as it would have been helpful to understand the differences. The paneer momo arrived first and was quickly devoured by the table, it was really good. The grilled jackfruit was something different for me and reminded me of a grilled pineapple/meat-like texture, which was enjoyable. While I don't eat meat, I was told the aloo chicken roll was spicy. The mutton momo was also enjoyed by the table. For mains, we ordered chow mein, a tandoor platter, two butter chickens, one paneer tikka masala (medium spicy), and more than enough garlic naan. The butter chicken was enjoyed by the table. The paneer tikka masala was fine, but it was unbelievably sweet from the honey and had no spice at all. I wouldn't order it again. If I were to get it again, I would request butter paneer instead since the sauces were noticeably different. The paneer tikka masala was also very bright red, and our fingers turned slightly orange/red from the sauce, which made it seem like food coloring was added. That was disappointing. We were looking forward to the chow mein, but unfortunately, it never came out. The garlic naan was alright. It was thinner, less fluffy than expected, and slightly chewy. They did change the song for the birthday celebration and brought out two complimentary ice creams with birthday candles, which was a nice touch. Overall, since this is a Nepalese restaurant, I would stick with the momos and appetizers. Those were the highlights of the meal.

For an appetizer we got the chicken Momo platter and I loved all 4 options. I didn't get a picture of it but I got the chicken tikka kebab and it was great. My son is the adventurous type so he tried the Bhutan which is stir fried goat intestines. I actually tried it and I really enjoyed it. The flavors were amazing! I can't recall what my husband had but I know that we all enjoyed our food. I'm not sure what the business was before but they did a fantastic job transforming the space with its moody, dimly lit ambiance and thoughtful design choices. My only complaint was the LED light above our table kept flickering, but aside from that, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. We will definitely be back!!

I've had their momos with Akbare chili (that Nepalese fire pepper), and when you tell them to crank the heat, they actually do it. Not fake spicy--this is the real deal. Their butter curry momos are also fantastic. Rich, flavorful, and perfect balance with the heat if you go all the way up on spice. Pro tip: order a side of rice. That sauce is too good to waste, and you'll want something to soak it up. Momo Bros is absolutely where it's at.

More Momos, please! Lol!…read more This was my second time here, and it was even more delish than the first time. I picked up the following momos: chicken butter tikka; Akbare porken; veg chili; and veg butter tikka. I also bought an order of potato chili. Everything was packed with flavor, pungent, and spicy. The potato chili is now made with French fries, as opposed to chopped potatoes. I couldn't even ding them a star for that because the sauce and spices on the fries were amazing. I'm not eating meat right now, so I love that they have lots of vegetarian options. This spot is pickup only since it's inside the "Cowboy 11," a convenience store. I've always been too busy smelling the yummy food to pay much attention to the store. Oh, and I guess if you don't mind sitting on a small stool, technically, you could eat your food in there. There were 2 young me working there today. They were friendly, so service is great. Dumplings (momo) are delicious and filling here. I've also had the chapote and pani puri, and I highly recommend that as well. You can easily order online via zing. As soon as you see that Cowboy 11 sign, you're in the right place for good food.

Unfortunately, something seems to have changed over the last six months to a year. The portions have gradually gotten smaller, and the sauces taste noticeably different. When we asked about it once, we were told it depends on who's cooking that day, which is understandable, but the inconsistency became hard to ignore. The smaller portions, however, have been quite consistent. Toward the end of our visits there, it felt like we were getting mostly sauce with very little meat, which is disappointing for a place we used to rave about. We're now on the search for a new Indian restaurant to take the spot of what was once one of our absolute favorites.

I had the Lamb vindaloo (highly recommend) and my wife had the chicken korma …read more I want to rate this a 4 stars because the flavor of the food was awesome . So good ! However, I can't . We've eaten here 3x now, and it's always great tasting food. But the service was really slow, while only just two tables had diners. ( us and another couple) then a few to go orders while we waited . Yes, it's Christmas Day holiday so I can be forgiving with being slow. I get that, but ... The thing that rubbed me wrong the most was the waitress only wanted to bring one togo container for all 4 four plates of food . Like we were just going to slap it all together like pig slop. We had to specifically ask for four seperate containers. They also brought one foil wrap for the leftover Naan for two couples . So we mixed ours with our daughter and her boyfriend . Needless to say we didn't get any of it . I'd go back, but they surly need to train the waitress better. Maybe, it's a tradition in India to not have ice with a water, but is a little off-putting especially when the drink menu is so limited . It's a small place only for accommodating small parties. The dine in experience leaves a lot to be desired.
