Tried the Butter Chicken and it was amazing. Got it in mild heat but next time will do spicy. The place is very old school but so far the food has been delightful. Wanna go back and try other things now. Service was kind of fast, about 8 minutes for take out.

I really really wanted to enjoy this restaurant, unfortunately it did not meet the standards I had set for it. The complimentary papar was great, which you can't go wrong with. The papri chaat was also very good - which can be a hit or miss. So I was very much looking forward to the main course. Unfortunately the grill platter had seekh kabab that was completely inedible. It was so over cooked and dry that I took one bite and left the rest. The malai chicken was good, it was flavorful but a little bit on the dry end, and the tandoori chicken was just okay. I would recommend that a quality check is done before the food leaves the kitchen. I could tell right off the bat that the seekh kababs were incredibly overcooked. The service was great outside of our server taking quite a bit of time. Our drinks that we ordered never came out so we did have to ask again. It also took us quite a while to get the check - which I ended up asking someone else for. While the staff was all incredibly kind, with nothing but smiles, I will have to admit that our server specifically was just a little spotty. The sitar player was the highlight of the evening. Mastering the sitar is very difficult and they had an expert performing at the restaurant. I recommend that the performer has some sort of QR code presented for tips, because I would have loved to tip if I had cash. I think that this restaurant has great potential, papri chaat is difficult to make well but they did a great job. With the kind service they have, I'm hoping they can tweak a few things and continue with success.

Alright, I went on a limb and decided to stop by this restaurant. To start, it was very clean and the waitress was sweet and pointed me in the direction to place my to-go order. Being a new patron, I was not familiar with their menu and again, the waitress was very helpful with her suggestions. I started off with the Chicken Tikka Nachos: I was so disappointed, actually, I felt worse than disappointed. The chicken was beyond dry, and I mean, dry. I got there around the time they opened, I can only assume they were still trying to get rid of the previous days food. I dipped the chicken in the sauce that came with it, hoping that would help, it didn't. Stuffed Naan: Again, the chicken was dry. I actually was very surprised, I've never had a naan that wasn't cooked perfectly. Mango Lassi: That is the only RAVE I can give about this visit, that drink was delicious! Overall, I can't say I will not go back. I believe I chose to go at the wrong time, and chose the wrong thing. My first thought was to get the Butter Chicken, next time, I will not sway away from that.

Love the butter chicken. Long wait for Togo but I always plan to add a few minutes to the quote they gave me but it's well worth it.

Ask the Community - Nanglo Indian and Nepalese restaurant

When ordering the entree dose it come with naan and rice?

Entree does come with Rice. Naan is a separate order. Everybody gets papadoms when you sit down. It's delicious food. Highly recommended

Is the buffet always open? Or is it weekday lunch only?

Fantastic Nepalese/Indian cuisine on Main Street!…read more We stopped by Karma and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is large with a nice bar area and the service was very friendly and efficient! Apps: Chili Momos (Veg) and Gobi Manchurian - the momos were super crispy and the sauce was very spicy in a good way! The Manchurian was so saucy and packed with flavor. Recommend both! Mains: Himalayan Thukpa, Palak Paneer, Malai Kofta - the Thukpa was the highlight! The broth was perfectly salty with a great umami taste. The Malai Kofta was rich and I enjoyed the cheesy koftas. The Palak Paneer was tasty, but I enjoyed the malai and thukpa more! Dessert: Pistachio Cheesecake - delicious! More like a pistachio ice cream cake, but it was so good and not too sweet! Overall, we really enjoyed our meal! Will absolutely be back!

The chili chicken was packed with incredible flavor, and the garlic naan was fresh, warm, and the perfect complement to our meal. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish and will definitely be back. Highly recommend checking this place out!

It's not easy to get a five-star from me. I'm jaded…read more The food here is authentic. Every bite was delicious. We had vegetarian dishes, malai kofta and mutter paneer, and they were genuinely surprisingly fabulous. They were cooked freshly, not from a pre-made pot. There are ways you can tell if it's really fresh. There are a lot of selections, and they're about 10%+ higher than the small university town we live in, and worth every darn dime. I'm seldom completely delighted, and the food here was great. The restaurant wasn't crowded on Wednesday-- and they should be. The cook is priceless. Give him/her/they a raise! I wish this wasn't my first time, or I'd recommend it without hesitation-- it was really, really good, and I'm a harsh critic. This was for dinner, and we have no experience with the buffet.

They give a daily soup during lunch, today was a vegetable corn soup. It was delicious, with good flavors without being too spicy. In fact the soup was so good that I decided to order their samosa as appetizer. The samosa's were also excellent, so many good flavors. It was served with a chutney sauce and another type of sauce. As the main entree I wanted to try something different than the typical Indian dishes that are the most common in the USA I ordered a vegetarian dish called Navratan Koorma. It's a mix of different vegetables in a creamy cashew sauce with rice and Naan bread. It was good and flavorful. The naan was bread was amazing, I've been to a few other restaurants in the area that have really unflavorful bread so this was nice. I was pretty full at the moment but felt like trying one dessert to have tried something from all parts of their menu and ordered Gulab Jamoon. An old classic, it was very good as well. It was slightly warm and freshly made and was a perfect end to the meal. The service was excellent throughout, the server gave me updates when one of the dishes were close to being ready. I thought the presentation was also very nice. I will definitely keep this restaurance in place next time I'm in the area.
