This is an absolutely terrible deal. Our house is damaged and bathroom unusable. If you want to roll the dice on your roof literally collapsing due to negligence, maybe Kring's is for you.

Cabinets are still unstained and the drawer glides on the drawer underneath gas top broke about a month after installation. The 2 doors that open against the oven and fridge enclosures bang because of poor design and I had to pay another electrician to wire all the outlets because it was not done even though I paid Chris Reyes(the owner) up front for it. He never showed my his Insurance I asked for it several times and another contractor came in to replace all the moulding which was a different wood than I had ordered and because of all the knots in the wood(different grade than I paid for) I cannot stain it it has to be painted because of the imperfections in the lower quality wood. Poor workmanship and the bar cabinets had to taken down and shimmed because of the huge gap left by Chris's team it wasn't uneven as they claimed. A mess simply a huge mess and I after $20,000+ I don't have the kitchen completed even now no warranty on the granite as he guaranteed they did not finish because of incompetence and did not complete on time it was a month later. Purchased brushed granite countertops from Alex at Sash Granite & Stone. I experienced poor…read morecommunication and poor installation. He provided an estimate based on measurements I provided and I authorized him to cut the countertops. I received a call approximately a week later to schedule installation. It was not until AFTER installation did he mention the additional $1200 difference in his measurement and the initial estimate. You would think that a difference of $1200 would be worth mentioning prior to cutting and installation scheduling. Regarding Installation - The quality of the countertop seams was terrible, they weren't level and were very visible. When you ran your hand across the seams you could feel a height difference between the 2 pieces of granite. Alex came out to inspect and stated that there was basically nothing that he could do to fix the issues (that his installers caused) on brushed granite. A reputable company would have offered to replace a poor quality product they installed. Lastly, I noticed that water was not beading up on the countertop. Which lead me to suspect that they had not sealed the countertop. Sure enough I purchased some granite sealer and applied it..... now water droplets bead up. Would definitely not use or recommend Sash Granite and Stone.

Prices were more reasonable than other providers that I had priced. From estimate to finished product was very quick. Work was top notch. Have had one small problem, several months later, that was corrected the day after I reported it, at no charge. He also contracted two bathroom total remodels, taking care of every aspect of demolition, tile installation, vanity, fixtures, drywall, and plumbing. He will refer you to supply houses that are all in the Lenexa area to select your materials. He'll take it from there. As any remodel of an older house, we ran into several issues along the way. All were presented to me, with options to get around that hurdle. I have been more than happy with the way all work looks and functions. I got an expensive looking spa-like bathroom for a price you can deal with. All workers were careful to lay floor protection where they tracked and left your home as clean as possible each day upon leaving. We contracted this company based upon the recommendation of a former neighbor. First of all, I have…read morecommunicated our issues with the owner. I have, also, told him that our impression of the quality of the cabinets is highly satisfactory. But, the job was a complete kitchen and more than just one issue arose with regard to other work. The most significant is that during the project, their tile layer stopped working for a couple of weeks due to COVID-19 and another tile layer was brought in to lay what we were led to think was a tile that closely matched our existing tile. Project manager brought a sample which was very close to the color of our tile. We agreed it was a good choice because of the tile we had. We found out, after it was installed, that it came in a batch that contained several lighter colors. It just happened that the sample brought by the project manager was one that was very close to the color of our existing tile. Most of what was installed was the much lighter colors. I notified the owner in September that we were not satisfied with the tile work, that grout was dry and coming out when I tried to clean. He set an appointment to come on September 23. He got to our front door and informed me that he wasn't coming in as he had just received a call that his son was going for medical care as he might have the virus. Obviously, I was glad he didn't take any chance with our health. I heard nothing from him so I texted him on 10/21/20 to ask if his son was okay. He replied quickly letting me know that it was not the virus. On 10/23/20, I texted "Do you plan to reschedule a time to address (at least the tile) issues?' He, again, replied that same day saying, "Yes. Let me look at my calendar next week. I am currently on vacation. Sorry I have not reached out before." As I have not heard from him since, I consider his actions to have "blown off my concerns." We paid for a quality job. He was very convincing in the discussion of the contract that he works do the job his customers expect. In looking back, I would not have contracted him as general contractor but would have found quality cabinets (the ones his company installed seem to be just that) but I WOULD NOT HAVE THEM DO the complete kitchen project. I would, definitely, use A DEPENDABLE REMODEL, LLC who did the demo and reinstall of the cabinets. Of course, I did not know about their work at the time as they were subs of Crown Cabinetry. The Crown Cabinetry company has two components as I learned after we were in contract. One is the Crown Cabinetry and the other is a remodeling company. I do not know the name of that company. I am going to make how he handled this be as known as I have the ability. I am sad to have the job be poor quality in some aspects but I,also, feel disillusioned by who I thought he was. The cabinets are made in Abilene, KS. The address shows the exact same street and street number there as the Blue Springs, Crown Cabinetry Showroom. That seems very odd!

Fortunately I had not paid for the flooring yet so, when I was left to find someone new to do the job at the last minute, it was a stressful nightmare (had to put the plumber off for a third time- the first 2 were due to the sheetrock guys) but I wasn't out any money. After a few hours of looking up online reviews and hearing ridiculous prices from various flooring companies who couldn't do it sooner than 3 weeks out anyway, I finally stumbled across a local company that I had no idea even existed! Enter KC Floorworx! Melissa (works in the office) answered the phone and listened to what I needed, then assured me that they could help. I was so relieved I may have started crying on the phone, lol. She was amazing and put me at ease, but did say they only install their own products. Ok, no problem, I will look at your options. While talking with her on the phone I found 2 options that were very similar to what I had chosen from Menards, so she worked up a quote for both and called me the next day. Melissa had someone (I think the owner?) out the next day to measure, talk about what I was wanting done, and order the material. I had to work the day of the install (about a week later) so my parents tag-teamed being there with the floor guy who came out and both said he did an amazing job and was very thorough and detailed in his work. The floor looks amazing and I couldn't be happier with it! They did me a huge solid by getting the process done quickly, did great work, and were amazing to work with. I called and talked to the technical support for the product they used (Absco Pro Select Satin). It was confirmed that Justin cut corners. You can see that three coats is the industry standard by doing a quick Google search, or by visiting the National Wood Floor Association website. Yes the floor looks good, but it will not last like it should. I am missing a layer of protection on my floor. I had to get another flooring company come finish the job correctly. Justin wanted to charge me more money to do it right. I already paid more than it should be because he has a minimum charge. I was happy to pay a minimum, but thought I would get a professional job. He told me it would last if I don't wear shoes on my floor or let my dogs walk on it. They certainly won't be doing the floors in my new addition! He also demands payment before the job is complete. The guys weren't even on site and he was there to do a "final" walk thru after the first coat. Best to look elsewhere for your flooring needs
