He also contracted two bathroom total remodels, taking care of every aspect of demolition, tile installation, vanity, fixtures, drywall, and plumbing. He will refer you to supply houses that are all in the Lenexa area to select your materials. He'll take it from there. As any remodel of an older house, we ran into several issues along the way. All were presented to me, with options to get around that hurdle. I have been more than happy with the way all work looks and functions. I got an expensive looking spa-like bathroom for a price you can deal with. All workers were careful to lay floor protection where they tracked and left your home as clean as possible each day upon leaving. Being respectful and keeping you informed along the way, helps ease your mind that the job is getting done right. We relied on his professional opinion of which tile would look the best and felt total confidence that he was experienced enough to know which ones would work and which ones wouldn't. Words cannot express how pleased we are with AMC's work. It is perfection! We cannot find one thing to complain about! They also cleaned carefully at the end of each day. The owner, Cole Bernardel, was communicative, had good suggestions and is friendly, professional and easy to work with. They will be our first call for our next project. In contrast, our second floor remodel has taken 10 months, and it has been difficult to get them to complete the work, with many days going by with no one being here. Justin can't even read the instructions on the product. A floor with good durability needs either…read morea seal coat plus two finish coats, or three finish coats. I called and talked to the technical support for the product they used (Absco Pro Select Satin). It was confirmed that Justin cut corners. You can see that three coats is the industry standard by doing a quick Google search, or by visiting the National Wood Floor Association website. Yes the floor looks good, but it will not last like it should. I am missing a layer of protection on my floor. I had to get another flooring company come finish the job correctly. Justin wanted to charge me more money to do it right. I already paid more than it should be because he has a minimum charge. I was happy to pay a minimum, but thought I would get a professional job. He told me it would last if I don't wear shoes on my floor or let my dogs walk on it. They certainly won't be doing the floors in my new addition! He also demands payment before the job is complete. The guys weren't even on site and he was there to do a "final" walk thru after the first coat. Best to look elsewhere for your flooring needs

PM disappeared after 2 months into the job. they never returned our allowance money. They did shotty work. Didn't grout under vanities which have legs so it noticeable. They installed wrong flooring in entire house. Left live electrical wires in the walls which could have burned down our home. Our shower floor doesn't drain because the floor is uneven. kitchen cabinets weren't finished. They flooded our dry basement and ruined it. I have hundreds of photos and a video of all the discrepancies. They will lie and tell you they fire everyone and rehired new people. It's a lie. They have more than one lawsuit. Check it out

RUN from KC Remodel are liars and dishonest they walked out on our remodel job because we requested invoices showing where our money was going. They also kept our allowance money. we found out they were over charging us for additional items flooring, paint, Sheetrock etc. they use it in their own homes or other homes. This is why they would not give us invoices. They did a terrible job. All the photos on their website are probably fake.

Cory initially came out and masked the jet holes and intake, he got them filled and sanded, and the initial glazing. Corey did a good job on tub too, was just significant scheduling changes. There was some minor cosmetic blemishes (drips) that Peyton came out rectify in accordance with their warranty. Peyton was timely and professional. Price was reasonable and saved us some money versus new tub new tile.

Worse than before - I can't believe our old, scratched up bathtub could actually be made worse, but…read morethis company did that. I don't know if we just got a bad worker or this is common for this company. Rather than sanding and smoothing the bottom of the tub, which was very rough, they somehow made the entire tub, edges, top, etc, now feel like sandpaper, with rough bubbles all over, and raised sharp areas in random spots. The exterior finish is now smeared and bubbled instead of a smooth finish. The worker also did zero cleanup, tracked wet white debris down our hardwood stairs, marring the finish, and even peed in the toilet and left it for us without flushing. Oh yes, and he used our nice towels to hold his tools. STunned at this terrible experience. So far I've called twice and emailed 3 times and no replies.
