I scheduled my appointment with Huy Nguyen and when I walked in, I advised him that I was interviewing for a new barber and that my hair was very important to me. So I described exactly what I was wanting and Jay the owner was there, so he so EXACTLY how I liked and Huy cut it PERFECTLY!!! The whole vibe there was cool!! Jay and Huy are great listeners and stylist and I would highly recommend this place. I will be back in 2 weeks for another cut. I told my sister about this place and she is going to take her son.

If I lived in SoCal I'd be a regular again like I was years ago but now I'm always on the move. One thing I've noticed about Drew as compared to other barbers, is he always cares about the details, the little things. Other barbers want to rush it, and don't do basic stuff that I assumed all barbers did just because I was accustomed to Drew's meticulousness any time I got my haircut from him. I can honestly say Drew is responsible in some way for me dating so many SoCal baddies because he had my haircut looking fresh so I had the confidence to shoot my shot at girls out of my league! Also, Drew is a chill barber, one you actually can chat with. Some barbers I've experienced are either dead silent and not friendly, or they talk wayyy too much, but chatting with Drew was always good vibes. Quality work, cleanliness, cool vibes are the 3 main things I want in a barber and Drew checks all 3 boxes. James is his coowner is also good people. I've never gotten cut by him but I've seen his work and he's legit too. These guys, Drew and James were coming into my family's restaurant back in the day when I was in my early 20's and they always tipped well, were respectful and good vibes so you know they're good people too. Erik (stationed in the back) worked so well with my son that has autism. Generally Spencer hates haircuts because he's very sensitive to the sounds of the clippers and also the hair really irritates him. But I spoke to Erik and let him know Spence is on the Autism Spectrum and he was extremely patient and kind, he worked well with him and I really appreciate his excellent service & quality work. It was nice to be in the back room because it was quieter and less stimulating (Spencer has a hard time with an over stimulating environment) so it all worked out perfectly. Erik mentioned that he has several clients with autism and you can tell he's got the experience, he has a very calm & patient demeanour and that makes the world of difference for clients on the spectrum. Thanks again, Jodi Will definitely be a repeat customer and book with Erik again, we had a great experience with quality cuts. The wait time was less than 5 minutes as a walk in and every chair was full. Everyone was very courteous and kind to us and we really appreciate that level of service.

I understand it was free, so you get what you pay for but man did each 3 barbers mess up all my kids hair. It was all uneven and choppy, I have to take them to an actual barbershop to fix it. It's just sad since this was a way for them to give back to the community but they just wanted to get paid by McDonald's and get out. Instead of being a good service and help to those less fortunate, it was just a sloppy and lazy job. If the haircut asked for was too complicated or just too much, they should have let me know so I didn't expect more.
