Once I finally met with Juan (owner) and talked to him about my plans and concerns with regards to the installation of a new roof, I knew that we had found the right company. Upon inspection of our roof, he took notes, photos and explained the entire re-roof process, as well as answered patiently every question that both me and my husband had. I've had a leak in my roof for about 3 years now, right after I had solar panels installed. It…read moredidn't leak where the panels were but I think it started leaking because I had 4 people walking all around my roof while installing. Think about this if you're getting panels installed. Anyway, I called a few roofers out (big name ones) and they came out and looked at the roof. They never walked on it. They blamed the panels. I eventually called Doug and he actually walked on the roof! He looked at the panels and said they looked fine. He said the shingle was old and cracked and the flashings around the ac unit and fireplace looked bad. He also discovered rotten wood from a previous leak I had. He said he could remove the entire roof or do an overlay (new shingle on top of the old). I questioned him and he said he would make it look brand new and it would add insulation. The bid he gave me was excellent, not low but not high. He's been up here for 40 years and I've been up here for 50. Never heard of him but his business is still thriving. That's a very good sign. I hired him. Three young men started on the roof. They were quiet and just worked their butts off. Doug kept in constant communication with me if he needed to say or know something. He fixed all the rotten wood, had my ac unit moved so he could shingle properly, did my flat patio and put brand new vents (O'Hagens) in. The guys painted any metal pieces to match the roof color and picked up all the trash around. Even though the solar panel removal was in their way, they worked around them and completed the job in good time. They did a WONDERFUL job!!! It really does look beautiful and brand new. Doug and his guys were so professional and are top notch roofers. I wouldn't hire ANYONE ELSE FOR ROOFING! I've built 3 homes up here and these guys were the BEST! If you have any questions, need information, or just seem lost when it comes to your roof, this is the place and business to go to. Doug will probably be retiring soon but his son is one of the young men who was on the roof. He's probably taking over, or at least I pray he does. We need to keep this business going.
