An Italian sub with smoked ham, genoa salami, prosciutto, black olive, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, seasoning and house dressing. He really enjoyed his dinner. I chose the small Griefo on the herb bread. I have had this one before and it is my go to. It normally has cream cheese, guacamole, pepper jack, spring mix, tomato, onion, pickle, cucumber, mushrooms, black olive, green bell pepper, seasoning and house dressing. I customized by leaving off the mushrooms and getting their jalapeno cream cheese. Delicious! Our daughter is a meatball fan so we got her the medium Bomb, no mushrooms, on herb bread. It has meatballs, marinara, green bell pepper, double provolone and seasoning. She devoured every bite. The staff was welcoming and made great suggestions. This location had a fun vibe. The "toasted" is in quotation marks in their name which I found quite curious until I looked at the menu and realized the restaurant appears to really like references to "marijuana." Despite my fear of the possibilities of hallucinogens with such a name, I assure you the magic is purely vegetables and bread. My sandwich was tasty and came on nicely toasted fresh bread with the right amount of smoked ham, genoa salami, prosciutto, pepperoni, bacon, Giardiniera peppers & cheddar. My first time visiting this location was in February during girl scout cookie season. A couple of my girls decided to try a booth there. I had never been here before and decided to check out the food. Had a tuna salad. It was really yummy! The employee was really helpful in helping me figure out what I could order since i have a wide array of dietary restrictions. The atmosphere was comfortable. The store was clean. My husband decided to try out this location this week to get some takeout. I had gotten fuzzys instead His experience was much better than the one at the other location. And he got his food just as he wanted. The service was fast and friendly. They do have salads for those that can't eat sandwiches. I usually wait to write a review until I've tried a few things, but it's been about 2 years and I have yet to order any other sandwich besides the magic mushroom. It's just so good. And it doesn't hurt that they serve all of their sandwiches on garlic bread. Cheba Hut is a fun place to hangout and get a couple drinks or just grab lunch! I love this place. Great subs, great atmosphere. I come here to grab a drink from time to time and the bartenders are always so chill. My boyfriend has been 21 for a while and has never been able to get a drink here bc his vertical ID, but he just renewed it (got a horizontal) mostly so he could come drink here with me :). Only downside is they do use a lot of nuts/peanuts and I do get scared about cross contamination from time to time (that and no vert. IDs) otherwise I love it. read more

First of all, you can pick one of 3 sizes, not 2 like other sandwich shops, for your bread. I went with the 'Nug' which is the smallest at 4" because I didn't think I was that hungry. You can also get a 'Pinner' which is 8" or a 'Blunt' which is 12". Noticing a theme here?! You got it- all of the sandwiches are named after different types of weed. Hilarious. Next, you have a ton of amazing different combinations of meats, cheeses and veggies to choose from- combinations clearly dreamt up by someone under the influence of the good stuff. I went with the 'Five O' which has ham, salami, prosciutto, bacon, pepperoni & cheddar cheese. Seriously one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Despite my amazing sandwich, however, I found myself eyeing the 'Sticky Icky' my friend ordered. Even though it was just a PB & J, it was all toasted and melty and smelled so good I couldn't help but think maybe I was experiencing a second-hand high. But no- the sandwiches are just really that good! I tried 3 different sandwiches in 2 days! They come in three different sizes, 4" (nugget), 8" (pinner) and the almighty 12" (blunt). There is quite a variety of sandwiches and they all seemed unique and delicious in their own way! Here are the subs that I tried and loved: -Indica (which was an employees creation, not on the normal menu) awesome blend of meats and BBQ sauce, what a great combination! -Afgani: spicy turkey, japs and pepper jack! He asked for his without onion and pickle and I asked for mine without mushrooms.
