Had the worst experience with this check center , is mother's day trying to surprise the best mother in my life and since I already gave an acct with this comp and I list my DL I called them to verify 100% I'll get the loan before I ll show up so this employee name Myrna assure me 100% I'll get the money so I stared to drive 1:30 mi. Drive and when I got there they denied me the loan so I explained told them my situation but no, didn't work even tho I show them my mobile bank statement and my birth certificate and a recipe from a DMV now I'm struggling with money for gas so I can go home . Alberto has been the best since he started as a clerk with the Company He helped me then and has always been there for me since he became the GM a very wise decision in on Check Centers part. Jose I can tell you is the absolute best in Customer Service and Love how he treats me. If I could vote for Employee of the Month or Year he would hands down win every time. We had a family emergency and needed a few extra $$... I went to YELP to find this location and reviews of this place. I gathered information I thought I needed and walked in. I was greeted by Nancy who walked me thru the whole process. She did all the work and talked to me cuz she could tell I was nervous. She made sure I understood before signing any papers and made sure all my questions were answered. I would definitely recommend this office for any bill payments, check cashing and payday loans. I haven't had to get a payday loan in years. We ran into an emergency situation and we were forced to get a payday loan to float in our bank account until payday. I went to this business because all the ratings looked great. I got one of the smallest loans and the explained to the lady helping me that This money was literally only going to be there so my account doesn't overdraw and I needed it to bet there until after my paycheck went in. She assured me that their check would go in AFTER I was paid. This morning I checked on my account to make sure my everything was okay and it was NOT OKAY! All other bills went through as expect leaving us only a few dollars as EXPECTED but what was NOT expected was the payday loan already going through which I was "assured" was NOT going to happen. I am now paying 30$ and possibly more in overdraft fees because they put the check through before my paycheck went through. I have already called the branch and was informed that their check won't process until the evening. I told the guy that's not correct because it's already taken out of my account NOW. He suggested I called around 10a and speak with his manager Alberto. I will update this post after that happens but for right now I would suggest that you avoid this establishment, it literally stole food and formula out of my babies mouths. My update: I talked to Albert and he said he's going to reimburse us whatever we've lost because of this transaction. I just have to bring my bank statement in and he's happy to help us. I will update again once this issue is all resolved. FINAL UPDATE. Alberto kept his word and reimbursed us for for our overdraft fees.I have up'd my stars to 3 only because of the stress and time involved which I was trying to avoid. Hopefully I wont need a payday loan again ever but if I do I will continue to use Check Center because I know if something goes wrong it will be taken care of promptly. read more

If you need a payday loan, go somewhere else. This place has absolutely ridiculous policies that are made without the use of any sort of logic or common sense. Other similar businesses are a lot more customer friendly. All of these check cashing/ payday loan places are a total rip offs but they seem to really make it sting and rub your nose in it. Most of the employees clearly hate their job and it is made very obvious in their approach to customer service but I suppose that's what happens when you have a building full of uneducated employees. However, I will say that there are a couple female employees at this particular location that are not at all good at their jobs but are very useful in more private & personal settings. I also know from experience that if you provide a $50 fee (plus $40 for each additional person) that some of the female employees will join you in a private setting after work to provide you with some extremely thorough and in-depth customer service that will satisfy and relieve anybody with too much financial stress in their life (which is pretty much the only reason I keep coming back to this place). I actually come here 3-4 times a week and haven't cashed a check or gotten any type of financial service here in a few years. read more

Very friendly and fast service great people working there , the only reason i gave it a 4 and not a 5 is because you cannot get an extension on your due date not even a day so if by chance something goes wrong your screwed most loan places will give you a 1-4 day extension for your due date other then that great place for a loan read more
