When I walked into Check City Monday night on the 8th of September, I was upset. Reason being, I went to a check cashing place prior to coming to y'all. Long story short, they had me sitting in that place, freezing to death, waiting on an approval just for it to be denied. Then told me I wouldn't be able to cash it no where else because they had already tried to verify it and it failed (Mind you, it was my check from my 2023 tax refund). When Paris did her magic, and told me what the cheap fee was to cash it, I could have bust thru her window and kissed her on her forehead.. I simply just wanted to cash my check from working at Amazon. They cashed the $300 for me and gave me money just to call me few days to say "give us our money back". "That check wasn't authorized" when it certainly was, I cashed many times before & it already went through! So NOW they are hounded me for MY OWN money that I worked hard for. Plus a return fee that they WILL NOT be getting out of me! I will sue whoever I have to to get you guys off my back! This has been going on since October 13th. I love this location! Customer reps are always very welcoming by greeting the customers as they enter. They are very efficient when it comes to taking care of everyone's business in a timely matter. The lines move fast. It helps when you are on your lunch hour and only have a few minutes to do last minute errands. Very kind and courteous reps makes for a wonderful experience when cashing checks, western union, or cash loans. I would recommend this place to everyone. Walk on in and you will be kindly greeted.
