I have very recently been to 2 different DLC locations & not had a good experience either time. The employees were unfriendly. All they would tell me is the necessary documents I needed but did not have. I could easily go into more details but suffice it to say I would never go there again. There are other, better options out there. It was a complete waste of my time & energy to even attempt to go there again. plz foward to district management: I recently paid $200 toward my payment a week ago but continue to solicited by phone about making a payment. I talked to a rep on Saturday and ensure I was ok in but today (April 3rd) I got another solicitation about late payment so I called and the manager was completely unorganized and accusing me of things I didn't say. She also said "she didn't know het district manager email address" when asked. But continue to say its "its against policy to provide that information". I've had a horrible experience on my most recent loan. Been harassed by a representative named Hugo that is so rude and doesnt know how to talk to customers who pay his wages! He hung up on me twice when asked to speek to someone else! After this loan is paid off I dont plan to come back. The commercials are misleading. They tell you that you can obtain a loan if you have other loans. I try to apply for a loan to pay off smaller loans and just have one payment and they turned me down and said that I did not qualify. They make you believe that you can come there and not have to worry about credit that as long as you can pay your loans you are fine but that is not true. Even try to apply for a job with this company and with all my positive prudential's was still tearing down for employment. Even though the worker who referred me cannot understand why I was not hired. But as I look around Las Vegas I realize what the problem was. read more

I appreciate the ease with the online processing, the follow up as well as the level of professionalism received. With less than perfect credit, the fact that they work with you has been a saving grace. I am very very bothered by DLC. I was a couple days late on one of my payments and they decided to call my place of employment without even leaving a message on my cell phone. I had no missed call from them. I understand them making their courtesy calls but they should not be stating that they're calling from dollar loan center at my job. So if you ever decide to take a loan with them make sure you tell them not to call your job looking for you. read more

When I first came to DLC I was super happy, in fact so happy that when I paid off my first loan I got another. However, my second experience wasn't so GREAT! in fact it ENDED horribly. I have been trying to correct the issue since 2017 and NO ONE seems to care. The loan fell behind after injuring myself at work, now a month due to not working and also moved to another state for job (Took loan out in mid March, Moved May 1st. When DLC contacted me, I informed the girl (I forget, but think there also was a shaun) I needed a few extra weeks so I could get back on track as I just moved and started a new job and would get my first check then, she was NONE THE LESS concerned about that and said if I didn't make payment the they would submit my loan to a collection agency, and I got pissed off because it wasn't even like I was behind that much. So in the long run and shortening some time of writing - the company I moved to in AZ ended up closing its doors and I moved to Sparks, NV in Oct. I contacted them again, prior to the move, and stated I wanted to pay the loan OFF and they said I would have to call the collection company. I aksed for a corporate number and address so I could call and speak to a higher manager or send letter - WELL THERE IS NOT ONE! at least thats what I was told (and well even after doing research there truly doesn't seem to be one or they are very well hidden.....NOW I have never had a company say you "CAN'T" pay off your debt to them! DUMBEST move ever since I only needed a coulple weeks to pay on the account and bring it current with the plan to pay it off earlier than expected. THEY (office workers) won't say that you ever tried because they want to protect themselves from the lack of good business and judgement and the consumer gets screwed on that (LIKE me I could totally lie, not say exactly what the consumer says and so forth, I'm an Asset Profit Protection Manager. Corporations need to understand that the little guys working under them AREN'T ALWAYS THE BEST PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH AND CAN BE RUDE, HARSH AND CARE LESS ABOUT YOU AS WELL AS NOT DOCUMENT!! Now I always PAID CASH and I get it their are a lot of people that don't and won't pay but borrow all day long until they just can't, but why discourage the ones that will and want to pay even after the fact of sending them to collections! I went from needing a few weeks, to being pist, to attmepting to pay and to being reported to collections and now WELL NOW - FRUSTRATED........I'm appauled at the entire situation, and now almost 1 1/2 years later in collections and 4 attempts to pay it directly to DLC ITS STILL NOT RESOLVED! THIS is the dumbest thing ever. You think I'm going to pay the Collection agency? WRONG!, You think I want it off my Credit YES ABSOLUTELY, BUT my principals say......YOU SCREWED ME ALL THE WAY and now I'LL SCREW MYSELF AND NEVER PAY....PRINCIPALS PEOPLE PRINCIPALS......It will AND CAN sit their until the end of time and I won't care because your company NEVER cared to assist me, have the patience and empathy that is required when someone loses a job; gets another and is willing to pay but your company won't accept! Again today - I called and talked to some jerk named Mike at the collections agency - HUNG UP! Called back and hummm got another Mike - Well I didn't agree with them wanting an 85% settlement!, though I truly wanted to pay in FULL!....Your company needs better representation of its self with all these "bad" reviews! Guess I'm screwing myself until 2024! Yippee for DLC - I'LL LOSE THE MOST BUT YOU LOSE TOO! YOU should develop better skills on handling challenged debters WHO WANT TO PAY YOU! Also maybe a number where someone can call and speak to a Manager above store levels like most corporations, Your company and people are definately NOT free from making errors! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I prefer Rapid Cash over this place anytime. It takes them about an hour to get you processed, they want a new check stub every time you come in, they call your cell phone to make sure it's your number, and call your job to make sure you really work there. I have never experienced a loan place so terrible in my life. They treat their customers like they are bums begging for change. They also like to get into your personal information by asking you what's your position on your job and what do you need the money for. After you pay them off they will call every other weekend wanting you to do business with them again . No wonder the place Is always empty because it is a pure head ache and it is terribly managed. I am very happy with the service I receive from DLC. I physically visit the location on Horizon ridge but I've done online/direct deposit the last few times and upon receiving the satisfaction survey this is the location the link brings me to - I'm assuming the agent processing my app works at this location. When you process an online app it is very idiot-proof (website navigating-wise) and a rep will call you soon after. Three times now I've gotten the same, sweet girl by the name of Britney (spelling?) to process and complete my loan. She is very professional and friendly - same goes to the reps I've visited at Horizon ridge. The entire process is discrete and while I avoided short term loans before because of the taboo - it has been my saving grace in times of need. Very untrue that these reps will hassle your references - only if you default. I've always been quick to pay off my loans which is how it should be when using them bc the interest can rack up reeeeaaaal quick. Bottom line: I believe if you are a risk-worthy customer who will pay off quickly or bare minimum, make on time payments, then you will have a great experience. read more
