You can also add from a selection of foam (+$1.20) and/or toppings (+$0.90). The customer service was good. The Witch's Brew has an interesting taste, probably due to the Taro. Decided to try this location because it was on our way home. Parking is kind of small, but we managed to find a spot. Came inside and the lady working there had a lot of energy. We ordered our usual, but the hand crushed grape was a new drink, so they checked for the ingredients and made sure they had it, which they did but they didn't have it in their system, so they punched it in as strawberry and said they'd make the grape. We then paid. The girl proceeds to fiddle with the machine for the receipt, but clearly, not the first time this has happened and I guess the guy making the drinks forgot our order and made us strawberry with lemon it. It was extremely bitter unlike any strawberry we've ordered in the past at the other locations.. we didn't want to bother asking him to remake it because we were just tired and wanted to go home. I needed to know whether there was a bubble tea place on my route? I did a quick search and found this CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice. I was a block away from this CoCo at Parkway Mall. I managed to swing over to the right lane and got myself here. CoCo is across from Gabby's. When driving, it's best to enter where McDonald's is. I parked near a snowbank, steps away from Gabby's. There was is a lot of parking. I then walked over to CoCo through the mall entrance. You go through it and the store is on the right. There was one other customer ahead of me. When it was my turn, I had a cheerful young woman take my order. I got the following items: - Strawberry black tea (no sugar and less ice) with coconut jelly (my usual order at Coco) - Strawberry black tea macchiato (no sugar and less ice) The latter was at a special price on the menu. Staff normally get this drink confused with my regular one. The only difference is really the foamy dairy on top. Sure enough, the other woman preparing my order messed up something. I was thinking that my usual drink order was messed up and got dairy added. Surprisingly, it wasn't. In the strawberry black tea macchiato, coconut jelly was added by accident. The woman who took my order apologized and asked if I wanted the drink. First: Coconut jelly is one of my favourite bubble tea toppings. If you are going to mess up my order, mess it up with something yummy. Second: I needed to contain my excitement getting a free drink that was a blessing in disguise. Free is good! I said yes to the messed up drink. Yay, three drinks! My drinks didn't take too long to make, even with correcting one of them. The woman put all my drinks in a bag. I thanked both of them and walked out with my goodies. The store is spacious and charming. I liked the bubble tea-shaped monitor. There is also free wifi. I got home and had one of my bubble tea drinks. I had the strawberry black tea macchiato. It was my first time having it and it was thoroughly enjoyable. It tasted more like a dessert drink with the creamy dairy. I had the other two drinks the following days. Coconut jelly preserves well a day or more later. You can't get away with tapioca, for instance. My usual strawberry black tea was excellent. It's consistent no matter which CoCo I visit. The coconut jelly has the perfect sweetness that the drink itself does not need sugar. The strawberries also add some sweetness. I had the strawberry black tea macchiato with coconut jelly the following day. Wow! This drink is truly my favourite mistake. It was like sipping dessert in a cup. Delicious! I may need to order this drink again because I'm craving it. This CoCo is a nice addition to Parkway Mall. I hadn't been to this mall in ages. It was nice to get bubble tea here. During pandemic times, there is plexiglass and staff wear masks. There is no free WiFi but you can use the Basil Box free WiFi. There is a large wooden "bleacher" seating outdoors. There is no music indoors, it could be very quiet when they are not making any drinks. I had taken advantage of this deal at the CoCo by York University. On Sunday, after a fun time at the Botanical Expo at Evergreen Brick Works, I felt like getting this deal on its final day. I did a search on the Fantuan app and this CoCo in the Riverdale-Leslieville area was the closest one. Perfect! I got the following large bubble teas: - Strawberry black tea ($0.01) with coconut jelly ($0.60) - Lemon green tea I got both teas with no sugar and less ice. It's my usual. This CoCo is diagonally across from Gerrard Square. It's on the southeast corner of Gerrard Street East and Marjory Avenue. I used to spend a lot of time along this stretch of Gerrard Street East years ago. It has definitely changed! My original thought was to try and park along Gerrard. There weren't any spots. Instead, I cycled around the block and drove northbound on Marjory (it's a one-way street). I parked next to CoCo just before I got to Gerrard. There's a side entrance to CoCo on Marjory. Since it was my first time at this store, I decided to go through the main door. If you require accessibility help to get in and out of this store, you are out of luck. The store's construction is old, so there are only steps to get in and out of the store. I had the nicest woman help me out at the counter. I let her know that I had a Fantuan order. I rattled off the last three digits of my order number. She nodded and picked up a bag that was next to her. She handed it over to me with a huge smile. I thanked her for my order and wished her a great day. She reciprocated. This store does not have any seating to sit down and enjoy your beverage. I reckon that it used to before the pandemic. There's lots of space where the orange-lit CoCo logo is. I'm sure that there was seating in that area. I'm also pretty sure that this location was where Grinder Coffee was before CoCo took over. Although sad that the cafe closed, it's nice to see a bubble tea joint in this area. I had the strawberry black tea as I drove home. It's my favourite drink. This drink is made consistently no matter which CoCo location I visit. I loved the strawberries and how naturally sweet they were. The black tea was perfect. I always enjoy coconut jelly in this drink. So good! I had the lemon green tea the following day. I love the tart lemon with the green tea. It's such a refreshing drink. I dig this store. He said "Yes". while looking down and preparing a label/doing something for a takeout order. If a Customer is standing right in front of you, shouldn't you be taking their order, not putting a label on a drink? Anyway, cashier was just preoccupied doing something else and just walks away, saying that he'll be right back. When he finally comes back and scans my App, he says, "Oh, you haven't made a purchase recently...I can't give you a free drink. I can only give you a drink if you buy one now on the App. The bday drink is not for new customers." Wow. Just a waste of time, terrible customer service, and bad impression for someone who'll never be a regular customer of this chain. Terrible.

Was walking by after having lunch and decided to stop by for some bubble tea. The gal at the…read morecounter was pretty nice. Coming from the US wasn't sure if my credit card would work but it did so that was great. I noticed a majority of customers that walked in spoke Mandarin so that's a good sign. The employees also seemed to be Chinese/Taiwanese which made it feel more authentic. Overall I was pretty satisfied with my order of Taro Bubble Tea. Maybe I'm used to flimsy disposable cups in Minnesota but the one we got here was pretty sturdy. There were quite a few students studying and some ordered food but since we just ate didn't get to sample any. There were also some outlets to charge devices if you sat at specific limited spots that also tended to have more comfortable pillows. Seating was pretty limited though so it might be hard to fit larger groups in during busy periods.
