The staff was aware of the wait and actually acknowledged it, apologizing in a genuine and friendly way. That kind of customer service goes a long way. Everything came out hot and tasted like it had just been made. The chicken was crunchy on the outside, tender inside, and the portions were generous. The fries were hot and crispy with that soft center you want. Even the sodas were mixed well and tasted great. After being on the road all morning, it really hit the spot. The price stung a little, but the food was fresh, the service was excellent, and overall it felt worth it.

When the customer asked if he could at least get some food instead of the missing drinks, the manager said he couldn't give him his money back or swap it out for a $3 meal item because--wait for it--"he would lose money." So instead of the three large milkshakes the man ordered, the manager offered him... icy drinks. Not quite the same vibe. By the time our food arrived, the whole situation felt like a plot twist no one asked for. Honestly, the experience was memorable--but not in the way the restaurant was probably hoping.

Second after the extended wait they forgot my wife's nuggets and I had to go in to get them. The girl proceeded to check the bag to verify the nuggets were not in the bag as if I were trying to get steal an extra order of nuggets. She retrieved the nuggets and apologized. I would never expect anything for free however literally every other Chick fil A would have given me a card for a free sandwich or something for the inconvenience. She offered nothing but an apology. Take my advice and drive to the next exit with a Chick fil A and avoid this one!
