This place is actually horrible at all times. For one they will never have sweet tea usually after 8 o'clock at night no matter what. Sometimes they will not have one drive-through open, but how would you know that? Unless they put a cone in one of them and leave the other one open right? But they don't do that and so when I pulled up to make my order the guy said oh this one's closed and told me I had to drive all the way around and go back in the line and the other one. Lot of negativity here, but we had a very pleasant experience. Food was hot & fresh (fries were amazing!) and the cashier was very friendly.

We sat at the menu for over fifteen minutes, just waiting for someone to take our order. The lady snapped at us after the ten minutes mark because we said hello. Say " we literally have a DoorDash order that ordered over $100 worth of food. So we will be with you when we get a second." I understand that you have orders but we saw at least four or five cars drive away. Then we got told we have to wait at least twenty minutes for 3 chicken strips we get our food in less than three minutes and as we are grabbing the shake it spills all over our vehicle due the lid not being on. Like we waiting for the food and got it but now we have to shampoo our carpets. Thank you checkers for this horrible experience. The shake was cold, same with our food. This is by far the worst fast food restaurant we have ever been to. Not only did we have to repeat ourselves several times with our order, but they kept trying to give us the wrong food or didn't have our food at all. I want to a take a moment to share how frustrated I am with the service provided at the Checkers on John Redman, in Plant City. I went through the drive-threw and ordered 2 champ burgers and 1 checker burger with cheese. The cashier didn't understand my order and then she started arguing with me about the difference between plain and no lettuce and tomato. I asked her to repeat the order and she snaps "I have it right here". She finally repeats the order and then manages to leave one of the burgers out of the bag. I've never been to Checkers before but it was near where I was running an errand on lunch the other day so I stopped. I got just a plain cheeseburger and whatever they put on it adds a lot of flavor. It was really good. The fries they have aren't typical fries either and have a bit more flavor than your basic fast food place. It's a great alternative to get a fast food burger. read more

I typically like Checkers food but this particular Plant City store seems to over-salt their food A LOT! I don't mean it's just regular Checkers salty... I mean like I try to bite into it and I cringe since my taste buds are going crazy. From time to time they have waaay too much grease on their burgers/sandwiches.
