Upon arrival, the cashier greeted us promptly, and we placed our to-go order. While waiting for our food, we noticed another customer, who had only ordered a strawberry shake, being informed--after a significant wait--that they were out of strawberries. It was surprising that this wasn't communicated at the time of ordering. We also observed the cashier, who had started making the shake, open the shake machine and dump the contents back in, which didn't seem like the most sanitary choice. When we went to get our drinks, we noticed a large puddle of water next to the drink machine, with a caution sign nearby. It appeared that the machine had an ongoing leak, and the puddle could have been mopped up more frequently to prevent a hazard. On the positive side, our food came out hot, fresh off the grill, and our order was correct. The food tasted great, though it is on the pricey side. I haven't been to one in 10 years. Back then I obviously didn't care for their burgers or fries. I have to say that I'm extremely disappointed as I still don't care for their food. The burger is at least normal and not smashed, however it has zero flavor. Put all the ingredients you want on a burger, if the meat is not seasoned, it's crap. And theirs is!!! I tried the hotdog, which seriously they need to discontinue. It was waaaaaay overcooked and the bun, which they sliced in half, (huge No No), was soggy like it dipped in water...ugh!!!! They think they're cooking hotdogs some new cool way... But the only correct way is WHOLE, NOT SLICED, ( I'm not 5 years old). And either steamed or grilled. These dogs belong in the trash....nasty and grossly overcooked. Their fries were not as greasy as they were 10 years ago, but full of salt that made them difficult to eat. I had to wipe all the salt off if I dared to eat them. Also, their fries had more little itty bitty pieces than large normal pieces. Seriously, if you're so proud of your fries...be mindful what you serve your parons. I also tried a shake. It was the only decent item of food coming from this establishment. So, I should have learned my lesson 10 years ago and stayed away. At least now I will for sure. At 7:17 PM food came out and they did apologize about the wait. The drink machine had puddle of water on the floor, but did have a mat down to prevent slippage along with wet floor sign. I came here with one meat eater and two other vegetarians besides myself. Interesting choice, I know! Their menu is limited to just a vegetarian sandwich with grilled veggies for those who don't eat meat. I ordered that and it was just ok. The stars of the show were the milkshake and the Cajun fries. So yummy!! I would come back here just for those. Prices are a bit high for this type of fast food joint, but I guess the perk here is that all additional toppings for milkshakes and burgers are included in the price. We popped by after boating on Lake Gibson. The staff was friendly and the restaurant did a great job of keeping everything clean and safe. I gave them a 2 because the FF were ok. The burger was so bad and greasy, I had to take off the bun because it was so greasy you could squeeze out the grease from the bun. The bun was stuck to the burger and I had to run it under water to get the bun off and try to save what I could. That did not even work. The burger was of low quality I would think 73% and the rest fat because of all the large amount of gristle in the burger. I had to floss my teeth for several minutes and use a pick to even get it to were the floss could work. The burgers were so thin, You would think I just brought a McDonalds, mc double hamburger because the burger was so thin. For that fact McDonalds at least gives you a better burger without all the greasy. I would have though that this was at least a quarter pounder but no, it was as flat as a pancake and as dry as it could be. I guess all the grease and taste must have been in the bun, I had to toss away. Apple to apples save your money and buy anywhere else. For $35 plus dollars I at lease want to be able to eat the food. That was for 2 burgers and a large FF and no drinks. I make better burgers at home for a lot less. BJ had $4.19 a pound for the 88% lean ground beef, plus rolls for $4.00 and a 2 pound bag of FF for $4.00. I make quart pound burgers and can make about 8 with rolls and FF for under $20.00. For 8 burgers and FF at 5 guys it would could you about $150.00 plus. Talk about a rip off on low quality food. read more

We broke down on the side of the road at night on our way back from our honeymoon, we were able to crawl into the parking lot and entered into the Five Guys on North Socrum Loop Road. They were so warm and inviting, we got a soda and a burger which tasted great and they let us hang out while we figured out tow truck situation. They played upbeat music which was relaxing and comforting while we were figuring things out. There is not a better environment I could have asked for in this situation. read more

Five guys is my favorite place to get a big ol' meaty and greasy burger. Nothing about it tries to be elegant or sophisticated, yet this company time after time captures the quintessential essence of the perfect American cheeseburger. Every company seems to have it's schtick; but for a fastfood chain Five Guys doesn't try to win with gimmicky frills or constantly changing menus. It beats the competition by delivering a high quality product, consistently. With that being said you will be paying more than most fast food places; sometimes I've walked away paying more than a sit-down chain. But as previously mentioned, the quality is there, and you get what you are pay for. I get the Cajun fries religiously when I go and they always use a healthy amount of spice - which is enough to deter my girlfriend who hates spicy foods from trying to steal them. They will give you wayyyyyy more fries than you need, so if you order a "little" fry expect to see fries over flowing from the container. One last thing, this food is MESSY. Make sure to load up on napkins and find a spot where you're okay with spillage. The burgers can be a bit juicy and the last thing you want is that dripping on your lap or in your car. Five Guys = Five Stars! This location is currently in its Grand Re-opening (as of 8/1/15) after being remodeled. Apparently it looked closed from the outside, which is why Yelp is showing it as closed. Hopefully this will be corrected soon (I've reported it, hopefully others will too). The burgers & fries as always are excellent and the staff is super friendly. We stop at this location a few times a year on our way to Tampa and we have never had bad service or bad food here. :) They now serve milkshakes to which you can add BACON!!! For no extra charge!!! Yes, I said BACON!!! :) The remodeling shows in the dining area - new chairs and tables, including some high tops. The womens bathroom was redone to be a larger one unit and more handicap accessible. I'm sure the men's room was remodeled also, but no one our party needed to use it. I also appreciate that the remodel included new floors which are no longer slippery to walk on! A plus as it's raining today and water is being tracked in. The only downside to this location is that the parking lot is kinda small (ok- it IS small but there's really no room for expansion). If you turn left to park (from the entrance off the street ) and the lot is full, you will have to back out as there is no where to turn around. There is a Starbucks with a drive thru next door (if you turn right) so there can be a lot of cars and people moving in and out of the area. Just be careful and don't hurry. This location is right off of I4 so it is very easy to get to, grab a quick bite to eat, then continue on your way. :) read more

This is where it goes South, all the tables are dirty and the floor is messy. I gad to ask the staff to come out from behind the counter to clean up. The food is always good and consistent. I've been to quite a few 5 guys resturants in the past and they are consistently good. The burgers are solid, always a bag overflowing with fries and generally fast and friendly customer service. Solid overall. The one thing I do want to point out is calorie wise, you really have to be careful here. Even though it is written all over the board (which I give 5 guys credit for), I see a lot of people come in and order the largest burger on the menu and a large fry. To put this into perspective, I ordered a Bacon Cheesburger (it's actually a double bacon cheesburger) a "Little" fry and a regular drink. After adding my toppings this meal comes out to 2030 calories. That is what the recommended calorie intake is for the average person for a full day. Unless you are an active individual, I would highly suggest that you limit yourself to a little bacon cheesburger. All that said, they make a great burger! We had one cheese burger and one little burger, one regular order of fries to split, and two diet cokes. Everything tasted pretty good for a burger place. When we were ordering I didn't really look at the prices - I guess I was expecting something like everywhere else, well the bill was $26 bucks. I thought holy cow that is a lot for what little we ordered. I have had similar at other burger places for almost half that. I have paid over $100 at a good steak place, even $250 in Chicago. Its not just the money, its the fact that a couple burgers a one fry, two D-Cokes wasn't worth $26. There was hardly any people in there and it was after 5:00pm, not very busy for a dinner crowd. Also I went to get ketchup for the fries and both dispensers were empty, I let one person know and they filled it right away - since they were not busy. Bacon is a little extra. I ordered: 1. Regular burger (with cheese) and added ketchup, fried onions, sauteed mushrooms, and tomatoes. 2. Small order of fries 3. Large coke I waited patiently and received my bag, which I then took to my car to commune in private with my burger. THIS IS A VERY SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE FOR ME. GET OVER IT. I COMMUNED, NOW LEAVE ME ALONE. Thank you. SHEESH. Upon opening the bag and looking in, my first reaction was, "Why'd she give me TWO orders of fries?" The was nothing but fries within view. I pulled out a fry and ate. OH. MY. GOODNESS. Crispy. Hot. Steaming. Salty. Tasty. SKIN-ON french fried potatoes. KILL YOURSELF, YOU JUST WENT TO FRENCH FRY HEAVEN. Turns out, the reason there's a layer of fries on top is that after they fill the fry cup with fries and put it in your bag, they take another full scoop of fries and pour it into the bag loose. You can't really go wrong with Five Guys burgers and fries. This location yields solid burgers and fresh made-to-order fries. If you want the most bang for your buck, be sure to ask for your burger 'all the way'. Also, don't pass up the Cajun fries...you won't regret it. Despite our large order, 6 burgers and 3 fries, everything was made correctly and came out in a jiffy (only took about 10 minutes tops). Checks all the boxes of the standard 5 Guys experience. Burgers made freshly with ingredients you choose and lots of extra fries! The location was clean and bright. We were the second group of people to visit but the crew had already started cleaning activities so I imagine it stays pretty clean. The crew during our visit was fast and courteous. All 6 burgers were made with care and had numbered stickers that correlated to an itemized receipt that made it easy to figure out burger 'ownership'. The parking lot can be somewhat hairy with the lot entrance, Starbucks drive-thru, and parking spots all converging near the entrance to 5 Guys. Be sure to look both ways before crossing! read more
