I reordered checks here because my last checks had their name on the reorder form. Never again! This company is terrible. They defaulted my address incorrectly while I was editing another portion of the check. My fault that I didn't notice when I entered the order but I immediately emailed back of the issue. They responded to me they would get back within 24 to 48 hours. That was a weekend. On Monday morning I got an email that it was too late they had already shipped the order. Of course being custom printed they will not accept returns nor refunds. read more

I have ordered from checks in the mail for years and never had an issue until my order earlier this month. When the proof was emailed to me for review, everything was correct. Moments later, when I received my order confirmation, part of the bank name was left out. I immediately emailed but did not receive a response for several days. Actually rates a ZERO. There were several errors on the checks. We WERE a LONG time customer tried to contact a CS rep beginning at about 8am on 3/2/26.Eventually, we supplied a ph number to receive a callback. 10+ hours later, we have still not been in contact with a CS agent. Ordered standard plain blue side tear checks. Really no issue with the order process or delivery. But the checks themselves are terrible to try and tear off. There is some thick cardboard like cover on them that does not come off easily. Then the checks themselves are glued or something in the middle of the tear area so when you go to remove a check it tears and leaves a bite out of the check in the middle of the left side. They just seem very cheaply made and I'm going to make a new order from somewhere else and shred these checks. Avoid ordering from here if you want side tear checks. read more

I have been ordering checks with this company for years! I have no idea what has happened, BUT they SUCK!!! I re-ordered my checks and they came in 3 separate packages. When checking them I noticed the numbering was wrong! Nope not wrong! 1 full package was missing!! Called and waited on hold for over a hour! Was told that the delivery date was 6/2/2025 and to call back after that date. I called today 6/6/25 only to be told I need to wait till 6/15/2025. That did not go over well! I asked her where the checks were and she said they had been sent with no tracking and did not know where they were! So now I have to call my bank to let them know there are 80 checks with ALL my account info on it! I will never EVER use this company again!!! read more

I should have looked at the reviews on Yelp and BBB before placing my order with "Checks In The Mail." There is NO customer service response from this company. I noticed a mistake on the check imprint minutes after placing the order. I tried calling numerous times, only to be on hold for over half an hour, with nobody ever picking up. I also wrote multiple emails via the website and never received an email response. I was billed and sent an automated email stating that my order was processed and on its way--extreme frustration. read more

Just like some of the reviews below, I have used Checks in the Mail for Years....not sure what is going on with the company. The printing contains all the wrong information. I have emailed only to be told that I need to call, which I have numerous times, and have been put on hold for long periods before I hang up. Checks are going in the trash. I ordered 500 checks and was sent 400. I called and they state i ordered 400. I said i have my email order and it says 500. He asks me to forward a screen shot and i forward the email to them. the agent calls back and says the webpages hasn't updated but they sell in 400 packs. This is false advertisement. I placed an order for checks from "Checks in the Mail" on the morning of February 20th of this year. The process was $27 and change and shipment was processed in Grand Prairie, TX on the 23rd, leaving Grand Prairie on the 24th. Today, 10 days later there is no tracking from DHL and Checks in the Mail said that the shipment shows still in Texas. Now the tracking "Link" originally provided by "Checks in the Mail" did not work and after emailing them twice I did receive a working tracking link. Needing my checks now and not sometime down the road, AND not knowing where they are is quite concerning. Since it is now 10 days since thew checks shipped and no one knows where they are I contacted my bank and put a freeze on my account... that could cost me $20 to $24... (it has not shown up yet in my account). After finally speaking with a representative from "Checks in the Mail" I informed him that this is unacceptable and I will no longer doing business with the company. PLEASE BEWARE! read more

I ordered checks from this company that were shipped but hadn't arrived 3 weeks later. The company said that they should have arrived and they could send me additional checks. I told them that I don't want replacement checks; I want the checks I ordered because that is a huge security risk to my checking account. FYI they don't use a tracking number so there is no way to know what happened to them. They apologized for the "inconvenience". INCONVENIENCE?? I had to change my checking account number with my bank because of this HUGE security risk caused by checks in the mail!! Never again will I order from them! I ordered my checks 3 weeks ago and they never arrived but were charged to my account. When I called, I was told that they were lost in the mail SO ANYBODY could have gotten them. I was told when I called Customer Service that it would take another 7 business days to get replacements that "the company had to pay for" ( are you KIDDING ME???) I have used CITM for business and personal check printing for over 30 years, and obviously, I would not have continued if I were to have any of the experiences that allegedly have occurred and listed on Yelp. I can only tell you that ordering has been simple, the product excellent and delivery was timely. If there was ever an error in printing, it was because I mistyped something--and they have replaced the check order at no cost to me. I will continue to use their services. read more

I gave 3 stars instead of 5 because: - they held my order because they said Paypal needed confirmation that the order has been sent. - customer service was very bad. The girls are foreign and go by a script. No help at all. *TIP~ search for Check In The Mail coupons for discount code. I bought from them in the past (1990's) and never had a problem with them like others described with never receiving order. Now i know to always use PayPal. PayPal protects the buyer! Never use this company! Paid $20 for expedited shipping. Took 2-weeks and went to wrong address. Tried to work with Customer Service and ended up dealing with call center in Philippines! don't waste your money and time to use this company to make a business stamp. i order a stamp on 11/12/2018 and i need this stamp to sign contract with my clients on 12/1. i received the stamp on 11/21 and very bad thing is the stamp is wrong. there are some "#65292 " insert to my company name line, telephone number line and address line. i called customer service, and send photo to them, they said"oh ,its some problem when made it. and they will make a new one and send to you ASAP, i tell them i need signed a contract with my client on 12/1, please send me ASAP i can pay extra shipping fee, otherwith i can not catch the time. they said yes, i will prepare and send to you. they promiss called me back when it is ready. but still today 11/30, i did't received it even a call. i called customer service want to check the status, take 30 minutes long ,they said they can not find their facility person to check my order. and called me back. after 3 hours, they called me back. said not ready yet, can give my a full refund. i don't care the $23 but the time!!!! everybody, dont waste your time if you need the stamp soon read more

So the last time I ordered checks was in 2004. I lived in Connecticut and had a B of A account for my checking, which I kept when I returned to CA. Even my address has been Milford, CT on my checks for the last several years. I just put a return sticker with my current one over that, every time I move. Hey, my account number hasn't changed! Why be wasteful?! So after my wedding this year I changed my name. Which conveniently was about the time I was down to my last book of checks. I pretty much only use them for HOA, donations, and mortgage, not very many a month - but I realized I needed to order more. Soon! So i waited for my mailer envelope of coupons to come. Went through all the air duct cleaning, car smog, and car wash discounts, and there she was! The coupon for checks! It said I could order online and I thought that'd give me a better selection of add-ons, which it did. I have kitties in my background, an ASPCA logo at top (to remind people of the importance of being the voice for animals), and one of my more favorite quotes (though, I have many...) near the signature line (pictured). The arrived before the promised time. I didn't mind that it took just over a week. I'm not going to wait till I'm out to reorder... so this was fine. It included a little book (which was good. My old one, from 2004, had tape holding it together). No, I'm not kidding. *sad face* Also included was a new register for transaction balancing. All in all - I received a couple hundred for $10 a box. ($20 total including shipping). I am stoked! B of A wanted to charge me a RIDICULOUS amount. Of course they did... I'll reorder from this place again - if they're still around in 2020! And I'm not the only one using checks then... hehe. read more

Do NOT order from this sham of a company. Very poor customer service or respect. No communication to speak of, unless you include endless promotional emails. Do not order unless you have many checks still available. Placed a minimal order on Oct. 5, I was weary because of their super low prices. And I was right to be. Received ONE email relating that my order was about to go into production. One week later, no checks, no email update to order, a LOT of promotional emails, though. No email to let me know my checks have been sent out to be delivered. Finally sent email asking where my checks were and why I haven't received any notification as to if they have been shipped. Response (from an anonymous writer) : "Kindly wait for your order to arrive." What the F!!! is that? They never answered why I never received an email letting me know my checks had been sent. I asked again. Same answer. THIS IS VERY SENSITIVE INFORMATION--BANK ACCOUNT. It seems they take your business for granted. They don't respect their customers. Hiding behind anonymity. Their attitude is poor and condescendin when it comes to responding effectively to customers concerns. Caveat Emptor. Originally I dealt with someone in Texas with good results. Since then customer service has been offshored and deteriorated, but I have not had any major issues as I have only done simple reorders. It is annoying that you get an email that your order is going into production and when it ships you will get another email, yet the second email never comes and no one can explain why. This has happened to me twice now. You have to check the website for a status, and they don't send you a clickable link. The orders arrive in a timely manner despite the lengthy timeframes listed. I probably will shop around next time I need checks. New customers get the best deals from check printing companies, and there is nothing to keep me loyal to Checks in the Mail. read more

When I called and spoke to the woman on the phone who kept excessively calling me "ma'am," and got no-where, I ended up speaking with someone on live chat. I ended up having to go to my bank and do a stop payment on the 100 checks I ordered. Cost $35. Plus I had no choice but to order checks through my bank, which of course are more expensive. I called Checks in the Mail this morning and asked for a full refund. Even though they have my checking account info, they refused to just put the money back but instead are sending a check. After ordering sets of checks for multiple accounts and two sets of labels, they arrived. I reviewed the checks and saw no problems, then opened and envelope and saw the 1 set of labels on the top of the envelope and wrongly assumed the other set of labels was underneath. We are talking an item with less than $6.00 value. When the second set of labels were needed after 7 months of purchased I discovered they were not there. Checks in the Mail informed me they do not replace missing items. Well, folks, if they are missing any company should replace them, especially since they don't provide tracking for the item. I don't deal with companies, who don't replace missing items, when there is no proof they were ever sent out. It doesn't matter if it is a month, 5 months or 12 months after an item was supposedly shipped. They have no proof it was ever sent, so they should replace it no questions asked. That is a good business profile. Not denying accountability for especially a low cost item. Sometimes the price of an item, sounds good, but it is only as good as the company that stands behind it. Checks in the Mail would get a (negative Star count) if that was possible. read more

I have used Checks in the Mail in the past. They have really gone downhill! We started to run low on checks, so I called to re-order and told them that my company has a new logo. They said to email them a graphic file of my new logo and they would take care of it. In the email I told them that the street address was to remain the same. When the checks finally arrived, they had my new logo but my address was missing. I called to tell them about the missing address and they said that the address should have been included with the graphic and gave me attitude that it was MY fault; that I should have known to include the address in the graphic. Wait a minute. They are supposed to be experts in printing checks. Do they not have any Quality Assurance process that the printing is accurate? I guess not. After going round and round with their call center person (who apparently is not empowered to do anything to help the customer) she finally said that her supervisor agreed to reprint the checks at no charge. The person on the phone asked me if I want the street address below or to the right of our logo. I told her to put the address below our logo. I asked if I could get a proof of the print job and she said that was not possible, Skip forward a couple of weeks when the checks arrive. Lo and behold my street address is on the checks TWICE - below and to the right of our logo. Sigh. I called again and apparently got the same phone agent. I told her the problem that my street address was printed on the checks twice. She literally asked me about 5 more times what the problem was. After about 20 minutes on the phone she said she'd have to ask someone to call me back. ... She called me back and said that they would reprint my checks again. She assured me that this time it would have my street address on the checks one and only one time. We'll see. UPDATE: I received the checks and they were wrong AGAIN. This time they printed the checks with our OLD logo. Sigh. So I called again, this time I asked to speak to someone in authority. I finally talked to someone who I felt more confident could fix this. I described the issue and she said she would get me the checks as I want them. She said she'd rush it but it would still take about a week. The very next day the checks arrived and hallelujah they were done correctly. read more
