I run and I've never been treated like that in San Marcos ever but it seems like this is the second time that I've had this her the first time I put it past us but today is completely unacceptable. I don't know if she thinks because I'm an African-American she can talk to me crazy but please my every time I go in there and I have to speak or work with her. I came into the store. I stepped to the side. She asked me if I needed to be helped. I said no not yet. Then all of a sudden maybe five minutes later she's basically yelling and hollering at me. Do you need to be helped I just asked you if you needed to be helped My response to her was "who are you talking to? " Because I think lost your mind speaking to customers like that, and you should be careful who you speak to as well with such hostility. So we're supposed to happen on the third time when I have an encounter with you and you're rude and disrespectful

I walked in, smiled, and said, "Hi, how are you?" I was ignored. Thinking maybe she didn't hear me, I asked again. Instead of even the most basic courtesy, I was met with hostility. The older woman working there looked at me like I was an idiot and spoke to me with complete contempt. I have never felt so unwelcome in a place of business. To make matters worse, the store smelled like an ashtray. Between the overpowering smell of cigarette smoke and the unbelievably rude customer service, it was one of the most unpleasant customer experiences I've ever had. There is absolutely no excuse for treating another human being the way I was treated. Everyone has bad days, but that does not give anyone the right to belittle or disrespect customers. If this is the owner, I sincerely hope she reflects on how she treats people because it is unacceptable. If she is an employee, management should seriously consider whether this is the kind of person they want representing their business. I will never return, and I strongly encourage others to spend their money somewhere they will be treated with basic dignity and respect.
