First impressions is we got sat at 5:11 and just now got our drinks at 5:35! Our waitress name is Faith! She forgetful and slow! Waiting on lemon. Brought out bread but no plates or utensils! Really just not a good experience! One of our entrees came out cold! Manager took care of it

I've wanted to try Cheddars for a while now but never really got around to it. My husband told me it's similar to BJ's restaurant as far as their menu offerings so I was definitely intrigued because I love BJ's. We ended up trying them for the first time last weekend and the ambiance is actually nicer than I expected. The restaurant gives off fancy vibes, not like Ruth's Chris fancy but better than a Chilis or Applebees if you get what I mean. We were sat right away which was nice for it being a weekend day. They were too busy. Our waiter was good. He came around to get our order and check in at the right times. Only thing I'll add is that we waited quite a while for refills on our drinks. But that was the only negative as far as service. As for the food. I love the crossiant they serve. Very warm and fresh, and the perfect little appetizer. My sister and her husband got the Wisconsin cheese bites which weren't too bad. I'm not a huge fan of overly cheesy foods but my husband is so I know he loved them. For main course I got the New Orleans pasta and my husband got the monte Cristo sandwich. He said he enjoyed his meal, I also tried a bite. Definitely a different type of sandwich compared to your standard idea. My New Orleans pasta wasn't the best choice, in my opinion. I had asked for extra sauce and good thing I did because it was quite dry without it. Will definitely try something else if we come back! We also got their carrot cake slice to go and I HIGHLY recommend it for dessert. The cake was nice and moist. Just the right amount of icing layers in between also. I would go back just for their carrot cake alone. Still a nice restaurant with plenty of options in their menu to choose from!

Always a good time when we eat at Cheddar's Great value for families, kid's meals are reasonably portioned and priced with several options beyond the typical burger or chicken Their family meals are a great value for ordering to-go as well. With several young children, it's a friendly environment for kids but still nice for adults too. I appreciated our server's patience and how they seated us in an alcove with other families. Gave us privacy with our children and allowed other patrons to enjoy their meal in peace. Their broccoli cheese casserole is seriously the best thing on the menu.

Cheddar's is located in Murfreesboro right off the exit. Easy to find with signs from the road. The parking lot was packed, but we were seated within 10 minutes. It was freezing in the restaurant. I had to get my hoodie. We joked with another table about how cold it was. Wait for seating was short, but for food, it was long. They were pretty busy. Our drinks came up quickly. The crossaints with honey butter were amazing, fresh, and hot. We should have ordered more while we waited for our food. The Buffalo shrimp were OK. Buffalo sauce was pretty good. My salmon was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right, as was my rice. The buttered corn side was really good. The broccoli was slightly overcooked. I ate the parts that were not. Cheeseburger was good. It came with onions, tomatoes, and lettuces even though they were asked to remove those items. Simple enough to remove. The staff was friendly and nice. The food was good for the most part. It was just so cold. We wanted to eat and hurry back to the hotel or outside to warm back up. It caused our food to get cold quicker. Thus, the 4 star rating.

Has a great lunch with wife, son, daughter in law and granddaughter today. Love the onion ring and freshly made croissants. Service was friendly and ambiance casual as always. Today I tried the chicken fried steak and it was very tasty.

the surrounding look is very nice but the seating and tables are a bit old, worn out and dirty. the chairs need to be repainted as well

Review #583 None Elite Squad 1st I have to say the outside look and the inside when you walk in is super nice ..looks clean but then..as you look at the floor, at the tables and the old worn out dirty and torn seats ..its all different once you look a bit closer. The Service is Great, the Staff is overall super friendly and make you feel welcomed. we ordered and the appetizers came out super fast and drinks as well. food was super good, steak a little too rare than medium rare but good rub and loved it. the chicken tenders are a good size for the money you're spending. Great Cheddar Dip! Thanks to our server Vicky I would recommend this place..but be aware.. some seats need to be replaced..cleaned more but good atmosphere. its a 4.4. change the seating and cleaner do more detailed cleaning and its a 5

I forgot to take a pic of the receipt The Maui marg was so good. We had a great time because of you. Girl you did so good. Super attentive, helpful and sweet! Highly recommend!!

The food was very good. The service was pretty slow. She brought the salad out after the entree which was a little annoying.

Food is good, great prices, and big portions. I have had a few bad waiters for the many times that I have eaten there.

They did NOT disappoint!! I am officially hooked! From the moment we walked in, I could see and feel the sheer energy coming from the crowd and the ambiance: it already felt like great food and great people. It was packed to the brim for Wine Wednesday! They had one table available for two! Our server, Sarah, was outstanding!! She was sweeter than pie and extremely attentive! She always made sure we had exactly what we wanted when we wanted it. She advised sharing a bottle of wine since we wanted the same one, and since it was half price most wines. The young manager on duty delivered and uncorked the bottle, and she was just as sweet as Sarah! Her name escapes me, but I will find out the next time I go. The Spanish Tempranillo we tried was divine! It was perfectly balanced without being too dry or too tannic or too sweet. It was so smooth and thoroughly enjoyable to drink! For food, we started with the goat cheese bruschetta. It was perfection - rich in flavor and well balanced in the distribution of each component! From there, we tried the special of Steak Tips Au Pauvre - with a peppercorn wine sauce. We chose brussels sprouts as our side, and it also came with a side salad. We weren't too hungry, so we split it. Sarah even had the kitchen split both the salad and the main dish in half for us! The salad was so fresh (with ripe grape tomatoes!!) and the ranch dressing was classic and delightful. The wine sauce was everything I wanted it to be: rich, complex, thick, and buttery. It reminded me of the beautiful sauces you find on a steak or chicken dish at a sidewalk cafe in Paris. The dessert menu looked amazing, but we didn't have any room left. All I can say is you MUST try this place!!! If you can find Sarah, even better!

When…read morewe arrived, the staff had embossed our menus with a "Happy Birthday" message, which was such a thoughtful touch. We ordered a bottle of wine (delicious), and noticed some guests bringing their own, though I'm not sure about corkage fees. We started with the smoked pork croquettes, which were outstanding and ended up being the highlight of the meal. For entrées, we tried the lamb, braised beef, halibut, duck tacos, and mushroom ravioli. Everything was served promptly, and overall the food was very good, though there's room for small improvements. The braised beef came highly recommended but didn't stand out in flavor or texture. The lamb, cooked medium rare, was excellent. The ravioli was rich and tasty, though the cream sauce slightly overpowered the dish. The halibut was well prepared, but the potato leek cream truly stole the show. As we were leaving, the staff surprised us with a serving of strawberry ice cream for the birthday guest; a sweet and memorable gesture that capped off the evening nicely. Overall, a great experience with attentive service and a few standout dishes.

The menu is the correct length, in my opinion. One page. All I need. They had a couple of specials, too. They seemed to have a really great selection of seafood. I had the duck entree, which was really one of the most delicious pieces of duck I've ever had. The spinach and potatoes underneath were delicious, too. Service was great, they took great care of us and helped celebrate a birthday, too! They were very well-staffed here and out waitress was very kind. There's certainly a couple things they could do to warm up the atmosphere of the interior here, but all-in-all it's a good vibe. Would definitely come again.
