I really appreciate the near 360° gate coverage that assures little kids can't wander off. However it is only 3 feet or so high so bigger kids hopped back and forth as needed to catch flying footballs. The single pavilion provides a shaded space for parents to relax or have a picnic but this area does fill up quickly and there wasn't much other shade mid day. Be advised there are no permanent restrooms. Although there are three port-a potties near the park. Recommend bringing any sanitation you may need as there was no soap and port-a potty situations are more challenging for small children.

In spite of its size, the park is absolutely beautiful, well maintained, and has a lot to offer families with children. In the rear of the park there were rows of huge blocks of rock ascending the hill to the nearby street. By far this was the best place to sit in order to capitalize on the most shade from the trees. There was a lot of age appropriate toys for her to play with and the amount of kids that were there at the 11am slot was a good amount (10 kids total, including a couple infants that weren't playing). There were a lot of sitting areas near all toy areas as well for parents. When we arrived at 11am, the whole space was clean and all the toys were put away nicely. The music playing (kids music) really set the mood for a good time for the kids. All the kids and parents there were all nice and friendly. Overall, I will come again and would recommend this place to all families!
