Good place to skate for families and groups. Attended a school private booking and the kids had lots of fun. Staff was friendly, made sure the young skaters were safe, and were organized. They also have the helpful walker things for new skaters to help balance. They have a snack bar, but we didn't try anything. It's a cool vibe and will have to try it again at night. read more

We had my daughter's birthday party at RollerWorld last year and it was an awesome experience, hosted by some younger employees who did a great job. We booked again this year and what I was not expecting is for the owners to be completely awful hosts from the minute we walked in until the minute we left. I booked this party at least two months ago, and didn't receive any kind of follow up call to confirm details or anything. We rented out the rink for this party, and I thought I remembered that we had 30 minutes to set up for the party, so we arrived 30 minutes early. The male owner immediately wanted to know what we were doing there. I told him and he got very upset that we had come early. I tried to explain that I was sorry for the mistake. He told me we could sit at the tables for 15 minutes until it was time to set up. It was my mistake that we arrived early, so we did as he said; however, it was an honest mistake and he treated us like we were trying to scam him out of 15 minutes, which was not the case. He was extremely rude throughout the party. At one point he interrupted a conversation I was having with a guest and shoved a wrapped stick of gum in my face. He said, "gum and skates don't mix." I replied that no they don't. He said, "well I just found this on the floor." It was not my gum and I wasn't sure what he needed me to do about it. He threw it away and walked off. The owners had a dog there who kept barking during our party which was distracting. The bathrooms had also not been cleaned. The female owner stopped our music 30 minutes early and hijacked the rest of our party. Our party was supposed to be over at 3:00 and she played, "So Long, Farewell," at 2:45 and told our party that was the last song. It was a very depressing way to end the skate and my daughter was confused why we didn't get to use her playlist they told us we could use the whole time. At 2:50 they stopped all the music and told kids to get off the floor, 10 minutes before our party was supposed to be over. We were supposed to have 15 minutes after the party to clean up, but based on the demeanor of the owners making us feel unwelcome at our own party, we had started cleaning up at 2:30. We let my son continue to skate while we cleaned up, knowing that we had paid to have the rink until 3:00. At 2:58, the male owner threatened to charge us more if our son didn't get off the rink. We were flustered and felt so rushed even though we had paid for the time. At 3:10 we had just about everyone from the party out except for a few people who were chatting. I was waiting by the door trying to get all of our guests to leave quickly, and the male owner opened up the door and told us we had to go. I said I know I'm trying to get everyone out. He said they had another event to get ready for. I didn't want to exit before my guests, so I finally got everyone out of the building at 3:11. It was so stressful, and whether they had another event or not, I was also a paying customer and did not deserve to be treated so poorly. My daughter only gets one 10th birthday, and I worked very hard to be able to pay for her to have a nice party. I left trying to hide tears from my daughter and shield her from all the unnecessary behind the scenes stress. I have seen other reviews from paying customers who also had trouble with the male owner in particular and his lack of customer service, or even basic human kindness. I've also read how defensive the owners get in response to negative reviews. I rarely leave negative reviews, and in fact prefer to leave positive reviews for small businesses especially. But this party was absolutely miserable. They likely won't care, but RollerWorld lost some loyal customers yesterday. read more

Standard 90s skating rink. The floor is well maintained and clean. Concession pricing is fair and lighting / music is appropriate. The cashier could be friendlier and I really don't understand the payment. You pay to enter and get a ticket for skate rental but when you say you need the skate assistance ( that PVC pile triangle thing) the cashier says you pay for that inside- seems like I should get a ticket for the skate assist as well but ok. Once you enter and give $5 for the skate assist guess what happens- they go to the cashier to get your change- then why not allow patrons to pay in a single transaction? Gives the impression employees are pocketing the $5, plus I don't like having to pay extra for kids to learn. I could see putting a $5 rental hold and when you return you get $5 back just to ensure the assist aren't floating around the floor. Because of the $5 charge that can't possibly be conducted with the cashier and website not posting the surcharge I give 2 stars. Recommend business post the charges and procedures for legitimacy, additionally, might be worth adding a reserved hour for new skaters. As previous reviews complained about slow skaters/ parents walking on the floor disrupting the expert level skaters having an hour once or twice a week might be worth investigating as littles have a safe environment with new learners and are more likely to return as they grow in skill. read more

Went on a Thursday night for adults only. It was really nice. We were a group of 35+ age and were hoping for some older music. However the music was good. The rental skates light up which was a lot of fun. Two people in our party had their skates adjusted by staff. They were very helpful. Cost was good too-$10 entry and skates. read more

We visited on a Sunday afternoon with a group of eight teenagers. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The staff and other adults consistently harassed the teens, making them feel unwelcome. This environment is clearly not teen-friendly. I'm a regular but recently been super busy and stuff and today they've been busy with birthday and I would rate 5stars but there's a worker that slammed a sticky note infront of me instead of handing it to me like all of them do, and she is mad at me for buying stuff? I've been up there at the sk8 fuel 6 times today 4 with this one worker and like 1 of the times they didn't have any pizza so I just went back with her for the 4th time with her to order pizza and that's when the sticky note event happened. We decided to start off our summer (post covid opening) with Skating! My special needs teen wasn't too keen on the idea of skating but we tried it out anyway. Once arriving we found we were the only ones there! Shame for others because this place ended up being pretty great but great for us because we had free roaming space for my both my sons learning and just having fun! My teen eventually went skate free and used his socks to skate on the wood floors instead, he had a blast! We all skated for a solid hour and a half and were exhausted and so glad we went! The staff is super nice and very eager to please. You'll be buzzed in after you pay $5 each with skate rental included. The wheels lit up on the skates! Very cool! No outside drinks/food which is fine. They have a nice big food bar! The music was great and the lights and mirror balls were fun! Definitely plan on visiting again!! read more

We went last night on a Saturday.. this place was crowded! I mean jam packed. I'm 44 & we were taking my boyfriends 14 yr old daughter. She rollerblades but wanted to try skates. It took a couple of drive around a the parking lot to even find a place to park which found on the side of the building which is very dark towards the back where we parked. There is a field on the side & behind it & a bunch of teens with flashlights hanging outback by the fence that made me weary. In the end it was all good. When you get inside it is pure chaos. Kids & teens falling & swooping passed & in & out like nothing. You get your skates & there is literally no place to sit or put your shoes or things luckily for us my boyfriend was skating so we had someone to hold our things. Getting on the rink is something of a mess. So I haven't been in many of yrs but now they have these plastic pipe on caster things to help people stay on their feet & they everywhere & so when the person falls that thing goes too. For me who hasn't skated in a few years every time one of those kids lost their balance & feel so did l, needless to say I am bruised' sore today. Eventually I got in the groove of it after about 22 falls. The music is good. Wednesdays are beginners night. Thursdays are 18 and over nights. Sundays are oldies & Christian music nights. On Fridays & Saturday they are open till 11pm but as I said beware if you are like me. You will fall!! read more

In this case, I don't feel like a length review is worth my time and effort, so I will just keep it short. Nasty, dirty, run down. Had to bring a kid to a birthday party for a friend. They charge for every little thing and I would NOT recommend having a party here, or going here for any reason. As I sit here, writing this review, it takes me back to the sweaty skates, sticky/dirty floors, and the smell of urine and sweat. I feel like I need to take a long hot shower just thinking about it. I was hoping this place would take me back to the good ol' days of care-free skating, but it just made me feel like I was in a hot warehouse surrounded by juveniles. We had a similar skating rink back in Kansas, but I swear it was never this bad. I did not have high expectations walking in to this place, but I should've walked right back out when there was no AC. I came here this past Saturday with my wife and two of our friends. It's $6 to get in and $4 for skates. They also have a special for a group of 4. It covers your entry fee, rental skates, and you get a hot dog & a drink for $30. Way better deal than paying $10 a person. The funny thing is, the person working the front didn't even suggest that we purchase this combo! We had to ask for our money back and re-purchase the combo after we realized that it was a better deal. The kids running around this place all have foul mouths. I've never been so annoyed/disgusted in my entire life. Also, they don't even offer lockers here! You have to leave your shoes/belongings in these little square holes. I didn't feel like having my shoes stolen so we decided to walk back out and leave our shoes in the car. Yes, it was that bad! We stayed for about 45 minutes and decided that's all we could handle. It brought back a small memory of the good times I had at skating rinks, but the cons definitely outweighed the pros. Definitely a 1 star establishment. read more

Owners have zero compassion for our daughter that was ran over by speed skaters. They never asked how our daughter was or sorry about the accident as the collision BROKE HER ELBOW ALMOST IN HALF! 8months before she is hopefully back to normal. She had to have surgery and has two pins in her elbow. She will not have full motion for EIGHT MONTHS!!! Was severely over crowded while 2/3rds of the guests were new skaters and falling down and not enough floor attendants to make sure guests are safe and enjoying themselves. We want all to know if your child gets ran over the business and owners WILL NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR CHILD. They will just wipe their hands of you and your child!!!! read more

Honestly for those saying oh my kids my kids because they got hurt badly first of all I really think this place needs an age limit because one time I went and there was only little kids like 4 years old!!! Decent floor. I used to skate here when they had Adult Skate on Sunday nights. Not enough people were showing up and they canceled that, unfortunately. They used to play old school (disco and funk) music. It kicked ass! Interesting floor with half of it set back away from the rest of the building. In other words, there is kind of an L-shape formed with the floor being the long part of the L, and that's the only thing that is up there in the long part is skate floor... no rooms along the side or anything. It's somewhat of a unique arrangement. You have a feeling of going into a tunnel at that end of the floor. A movie plays (muted) on the skating rink wall, then there are several other smaller screens with cartoons. The concessions are reasonably priced with $1 candy, $2 popcorn, and a $10 12-inch pizza, among other items. The entire place is kept very clean, including the bathrooms. The summer day skating sessions were just $5 per person ($3 on Wednesday's). Google their website to get accurate hours. It's exactly what you would think a roller skating rink in 2018 is like. The staff is friendly. The place is clean. The prices are pretty decent when compared to what other things in 2018 cost. $6 admission plus $3 skate rentals (Wednesday isn't just $3 admission). $5 for those PVC pipe helper things. Parents/adults who aren't skating don't pay the admission fee. They have a snack bar with a decent selection & not super pricey. $1 pickles, $2 & $3 drinks, $3 nachos, etc. They accept cash & cards. They have a DJ & the music is kid-friendly. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it's not really a 5-Star place They also have a "referee" who skates along with the patrons to keep them in line. If you're looking for something fun and not expensive to do to TIRE your kids out- this is the place. I've also been to 2 birthday parties here & it was a fun experience for the kiddos. read more

Read through the reviews and found they used to have what myself & friends would like - an adult skate night. Hate we missed that; maybe it will come back. Price is right, location works for me/us. Refreshments are properly priced but a bit slow on production side. Friendly staff, lots of "regulars." Not a lot of rule enforcement on speed skating, weaving, etc. 90% of my falls can be attributed to children with "tripods," skaters leaving the floor or skating against the traffic to get off the floor rather than skating to the next exit, fallen skaters staying in middle of floor and "weavers." Horrible moderating at the roller rink the place was packed and no one had masks. The establishment didn't even follow its own rules of not letting in anyone if they dont have a mask, as I saw and heard employees say that it was fine. If it wasn't covid it wouldn't be a problem but the lazy hygeine really brings this place from a 5 down to a 1 star rating. There were people walking around with their nose out and even straight up no masks it made me nauseous if this continues not even for the establishment but people could contract covid or put others at risk. They have a really good deal on Wednesday nights, it's only $6 to skate, with skate rental. Other nights are t really worth it but my little sister likes to chill here with her friends on Fridays/Saturdays... she's 12. The inside isn't anything pretty, but they remodeled and it's better than it was. Bathroom are a little ridiculous... one stall doesn't even have a door, just a curtain. They give you a free cup of water without charging you and they play good music. They used to have arcade games, but they got rid of them. With the food counter, you get what you pay for. A lot of cheap, bad for you Foods. Do NOT get the wings. They were the worst wings I've ever had. They were like 60% fat... I threw them away after one. read more
