    Downstairs seating near the loos.

Adorable little cafe with large mouthwatering scones as well as swoonworthy jam and clotted cream. A queue forms before the place even opens, but it moves quickly and there is also seating and loo downstairs. Lovely lattes as well. A perfect nosh before you do your Portobello Road crawl.

If you are ever in London and want a scone and clotted cream without the entire event of going to afternoon tea, this is your spot! We had amazing service, and a delicious sweet breakfast. Located in the heart of Notting Hill. Not only will you get to enjoy an easy delicious treat, you can soak up the movie like views of this neighborhood.

I scones, especially the ones that are crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the inside. Came across Cheeky Scone as we were heading back to the train station from Portobello Road Market and couldn't resist all the scones observed in the window. Decided on the box of 3 (£10) with a side of clotted cream (50p). Variety of flavors to choose from - decided on Lemon Poppy, Banoffee, and Pina Colada. Waited to eat them when I had that late night munchie fix. They hit the spot. Crunchy exterior, fluffy interior. Not dry at all and not too sweet. Hubs ate up the Banoffee one - drizzled with chocolate which was probably what he liked most. I ate half of the Pina Colada (coconut flavor comes through) and the lemon poppyseed (not too sweet with the icing and probably the one I liked best). The clotted cream made them extra yummy, although I thought it was a little on the small side. Snack craving satisfied. Didn't get to save any for the next morning as kiddo ate the rest up.

got the cheddar onion scone and it was moist but not greasy, fluffy and not dense. the sweet onion complemented the salty cheese very well

The best scones we had while in London! We went early in the morning and they were fresh. The staff was kind and explained all the flavors. The store itself was very cute, but we took them to go!

Clean and Lean Cafe is a supporter of clean eating - using unprocessed, unsweetened, quality ingredients that are organic and in season. Wholesome food that makes you feel good from the inside. My kind of food. I had just eaten breakfast at Daylesford and was wandering around when i came across Clean and Lean a few doors down. I just went in for a look but after being found out for being Australian by a super lovely Australian girl working there, we were chatting and she mentioned that they did great Acai bowls. I am a sucker for a good Acai bowl and hadn't had one for a while so despite not being hungry, I decided to get the Nourish Me bowl on Ruby's recommendation. For 8 pounds, I got the most delicious bowl topped with granola, almond butter, hemp seeds and fresh blueberries and raspberries - heaven! The acai was thick and didn't melt which is rare! I haven't had one with almond butter before and it gave the acai an extra creamy feel. Clean and Lean also had some great looking salads and sweet treats on the counter which I would have been tempted by, if I had been at all hungry. They also do Paleo toast, if that's your thing. I was also assured that their coffee was good too, but I can't vouch for that! Yes Clean and Lean is one of those super healthy places filled with fit looking people in their activewear but that doesn't mean that their food isn't delicious. Because it is.

The staff was nice, but the way the cafe operates now is not as good as it used to be. The best thing about this place is the ambiance. It is absolutely amazing! I don't know when The Quince Tree Café took up residence here, but the sport was the former home of a Daylesford outlet. The nursery surrounding of the café lend to a tranquil environment. It is easy to forget that you are in the heart of Maida Vale. When the sun is out, it would be harder to find a nicer sport in West London to enjoy a brunch. They also serve breakfast, lunch and offer an afternoon tea option. I tend to just come here to enjoy a slow Latte and take in atmosphere. It is also a popular meeting point for mothers in the area. There are plenty of high chairs and they also offer a children's menu. If you're looking for a fast service, this is not the place for you. The slow service though added to this places charm for me, as it felt as though I was enjoying a short spell in the countryside, where time is less important. The Quince Tree café also cater for private parties and wedding receptions. If you're in the area, it is well worth a visit.
