Triple decker on rye, Waldorf salad, chips.

Wow...a 30% increase in price. The same sandwich a year ago was $12.50, now it's $16.00! Ouch. Still delicious, but dang. Pro tip-if you want the best value, get the Hot Apple sandwich-it is loaded with meat. Steer clear of the Arty Special, same price, but not much meat.

The food and service were wonderful. Coffee, even though in the name, is not that great. They only have regular roast coffee no specialties. We mainly came for the salads and sandwiches which did not disappoint. Everyone was friendly even other customers. It seems this place gets its regular customers. I guess once you give this place a try you will be back so you can try other things.

Half a Reuben sandwich and the green chili chicken soup lunch. I took a bite already in this pic.

Very popular place with twin sisters present. One told me she was a fraternal twin, but they sure looked identical to me! First time here, and I was glad to get what looked like the last table because so many were there. I ordered half a Reuben and a cup of soup. Came with chips. Plenty to eat and delicious. Generous portion for half a sandwich, and the soup had a kick to it but not overwhelming where I couldn't eat. I ate the whole bowl. It was hearty and thick, which I love! Friendly service. It's a bit noisy with so many there, but still could carry on a conversation with my friend. Definitely a fun lunch place to hit!

I love this Chelsea sandwich! Man I don't know how they get that bread toasted so perfectly. The servers are so busy but they handle it well and are friendly. It is a dark little hole in wall but trust me it's worth it!

I just learned that this amazing lunch experience is just a few blocks away from our house! Winning!! The parking lot was full on this gloomy Wednesday afternoon. We had to park across the street, but to my amazement, we got seated right away! The service was great, our waitress was super sweet and quick with our orders. The menu was great- everything looked amazing with the plentiful options. Soup, salad and sandwiches is their game, and they are masters of their craft!

This place definitely falls into the first category. This morning I went with the single origin Guatemala drip, and it was exactly what a solid cup of coffee should be. Smooth, rich, and balanced with a nice chocolate note that hangs around just long enough to make you take another sip. No bitterness. No burnt taste. Just a clean, well-roasted cup that says someone here actually cares about the beans. The shop itself has a personality, which I always appreciate. It's decorated with fishing lures, fish artwork, and sculptures scattered around the place. Naturally this leads to the obvious conclusion: the owner is either an avid fisherman... or coffee roasting is just the side hustle between trout expeditions. Either way, the theme works. The space feels relaxed, creative, and comfortable. The kind of place where you can sit with a cup and not feel rushed out the door. And speaking of doors, while I was there there was a steady flow of customers coming in and out. That's usually the universal coffee signal for yep, this place is doing something right. Bottom line: Great coffee, cool atmosphere, and a shop with enough character to keep things interesting. I'll definitely be back for another cup of that Guatemala.

There is ample seating both inside and outside, had I not had my toddler with me I would have loved to sit out front but it is right by the road so a no go with a rambunctious little boy... There is additional outside seating to the side and farther from the road too. I look forward to my next trip.

It's my local coffee shop where they know my name and my order as soon as I walk in. I also love the atmosphere here even though it is often crowded. It's a great place to get some work done, or to meet a friend to chat. Literally the only issue I have with them is their new ordering/card reader system. It's often down, which results in long lines, long waits, and stressed out baristas. Also, their it's tied to their loyalty program, so when I go there and their system is down, I don't get points. Would love it if they went back to the old system! Other than that, Little Bear Uptown is my favorite place to get coffee in Albuquerque.
