I wanted to post the update after my first review after unpacking my stuff. Cheetah Moving packed my POD so well that i didnt even have one item scratched and or broken. Now...i moved long distance so you know that the POD would be bounced around. Even with it traveling across county all of my items were perfect! This is due to how my movers packed my POD! Wouldn't recommend this company. Broke SEVERAL things and took absolutely 0 accountability. reassured me my tv would be alright (cause who tf keeps a big tv box. Especially in an apartment?) it's not that they scratched it - they completely broke it from an impact hit and had to buy a new one. So these "experts" can't even properly load a truck for a 10min right not to damage 6 things. They stacked dollys 4 high and took them down the stairs just like that. I could hear my belongings being crushed as they went. They broke my nightstand. Plates I had wrapped SEVERAL times in bubble wrap. Mind you I went from a one to a one and it took 5hrs. read more

This was quite literally my worst moving experience. Just movers not only broke my bed, dining table and lamp but took way longer than usual for my move process and charged me close to 600 total dollars . I'm very upset about my brand new dining table being ruined and even after reaching out and saying they would try to resolve the issue they have yet to follow up. Awful experience. Was very disappointed. The name "Cheetah" is very misleading. They moved very slow. I had to work with them to set the pace & get them moving faster as well as to direct them. Sometimes certain team members were even just standing around waiting to be directed. Job took twice as long and cost more than double what I had planned. I called the office on our way to the unload location and they seemed to speed up a bit after that, but again I had to work as fast as I could with them to get the job done as fast as possible. I had movers cancel and I found Cheetah movers from an ad they posted. I looked at their reviews and they were great. They were able to fit me in same day which I really appreciated. But, had I known every piece of my furniture would of been scratched due to the guys not picking the furniture up, I would of never booked with them. If it was too much for them to handle, they should of told me that. Paying $455 for my furniture to be damaged is ridiculous!! The people are nice but the quality turned out to be terrible. I uncover more damage as I unwrap items. I was given the tip back ($100) that was given to the movers before I realized all of the damage. Had I known the extent of the damage, not only would they of not gotten a tip but I also wouldn't of paid without a resolution. I was still charged 100% for a move that caused damage. The company really doesn't care, they damage your items and take your money. This isn't right. I would not recommend Cheetah Movers read more

Aisha once again ! More like CLOWN movers . Upon seeing my first review the movers decided to dump all my things without assembling anything stating "I could have waited to leave a review ." Talk about unprofessional. This company waited until rush hour to move my things then the proceeded to go eat while billing it on my move time . I'm mot expert mover but I don't know anyone who has paid $1000 to move a bedroom set . I had to leave work to ensure none of my property was damaged or missing .. just to see it dumped everywhere . I would not recommend this place at all!!! It took 7 1/2 hours for them to move me and my fiancé from our one bedrooms into a two bedroom. They sent 3 guys and only 1 worked the entire time. They are out to get money only please watch out! I walked into my room with the guys huddled up talking about how they would drag out the time to get more money. I had to literally MAKE them start picking up boxes as if I was hired to help. I complained about the 2 to 3 hours that they did absolutely nothing then after going back and forth with the manager she took off two hours and I still ended up paying $775. This move was so long that they just unloaded and left. Both beds were put together wrong, every piece of brand new furniture that was touched, was damaged, broken, or scratched. Items didn't even make it into my apartment that I still can not locate! Worst move in history. Do not call these people!!! You will be disappointed!!!! So I used this service in March. However I reframed from my writing my review until there was resolution to an issue I had with the company. I was very much willing to celebrate them for resolving my issue however that is not the case. 1. The rate that I was charged was not explained properly. No worries they did reduce my fee for that reason. Not completely but enough for me to move past it. 2. They left a piece of our furniture down stairs by the elevator. We found as we were leaving out the door. Still no worries 3. Until we found that our adjustable base that goes to our King size bed was damaged and installed backwards. I worked with Kareem to resolve the issue. He came out 3 times attempting to replace the cord that was ripped from the motor. I truly appreciated the effort he was making to correct it at that time. He even change the bed so that it is was setup correctly. Finally we both realized the only way to get it fixed was through the manufacturer. I did all of the leg work which he advised me they would take care of the cost. The cost to repair was about close to $500. The bed originally cost us over $2k. We have been unable to use the bed. Kareem and company have stopped responding to my emails. Now I have to take my money and file a small claim for something that could have been easily resolved. So would I use this company again unfortunately NOT. Do your homework, read reviews and check everything before the movers leave. Sadly they do not have my vote for recommended movers. I will update this post with any updates should the issue be resolved prior to going to court. read more

I've been meaning to write this review for months and kept forgetting. This wonderful company moved me at the end of April after a more well known moving company took my deposit and refused to move me. I was in tears when I found Cheetah Moving from an internet search and gave them a call. The lady who took my call was nice and immediately assigned 2 movers to me. The guys kept in touch with me the morning of the move and showed up on time. They asked what all was going had me sign for the move and got to work! A completely different experience than the day before. They were fast, efficient and courteous. Really saved my day and they were mad because I had thrown my couch away because the big name moving company had refused to move it the day before. I appreciated them then and now. Definitely look them up if you need moving. read more

After having a few bad experiences with movers in the past, we were completely taken by surprise by the staff at Cheetah. Communication the day of the move was excellent, with them giving several updates on their time of arrival. Upon arriving and starting the move, their staff was literally jogging back and forth between the storage and the truck, wasting absolutely zero time. They finished the job very quickly and the bill was exactly what I was quoted, no "hidden" fees whatsoever. I cannot recommend this company highly enough! The service was simply the best I've ever experienced, and will definitely be using them again when we purchase our next house. Thank y'all so much! read more

Worst moving company ever!! Let me first explain how small of a move this was. I moved a washer/dryer, 1 queen and 1 full bed (frame only), 2 dressers with mirrors, 3 night stands, 1 end table, 1 coffee table, 1 led mirror (30 by 40), 2 other mirrors (14 by 22), some boxes (large and small) and some other misc small items. The smallest move I have ever had, but the most expensive move I ever had. Moving on, one of the movers told me he dropped my night stand and that he would personally make sure it was fixed. I said that was fine and we finished up packing the truck (I helped with carrying the smaller items). I left all my hanging clothes and some other items because the older employee was super rude and made me uncomfortable, also, the move was taking way longer than it should. The truck wasn't even close to half way filled when we were finished. That's how little my load was. Once we got to my new house, the rude employee brings in my very expensive led mirror and sits it down on the tile floor and cracked the bottom. His response was "well I was gonna have to put it down at some point". Of course he had to set it down, but he's supposed to set it down gently without breaking it. I asked why it wasn't wrapped up and he said he took the wrapping off to bring it inside. The purpose of wrapping is to protect the furniture. He offered me $50 off of my move and I denied the offer and asked to make an insurance claim. He told me the insurance would only cover about $20 for both items and that it was in the contract I signed. I later spoke with the lady that runs the business (I don't have her name in front of me) and she told me she would replace the mirror. She didn't respond to my call or text after that. I had text her again 2 days later and asked if her employees had possibly done something to an end table I was missing, and also asked for an update about the broken mirror situation. She called me immediately and said she was tired of me, called me a bitch, hung up on me and blocked me. I had my daughter forward her a text telling her my furniture place was able to locate the mirror. Told her if she wasn't going to replace the mirror like she said, to please send me the insurance companies information. She hasn't responded. I am filing a small claims case tomorrow. read more
